I wouldnt really say asgore is corrupted. He does what he thinks is best for his people, even if he hates what he is doing and himself for it. A loving father, I might add. On the other hand we have a king that just wants to achieve his greater goal while overtrowing the other kings and opressing his subjects and even sacraficing his own son if he has to.
Comparison of the kings: Asgore: Is a loving father and husband and tries to do the best for his people, plus likes to garden in his spare time. Spade King: *attemps to yeet his son of a cliff for essentially not being racist.*
The Chaos King was also trying to do the best for his people, don't forget that. The difference between them is how much they regret what they're doing. Asgore is tormented by his actions every day he sits in his throne, the Chaos King cares not what he must do to raise the Darkners out of abandonment, his conscience is clear as fuck.

Listen I have full faith in Asgore and how powerful he is, but Chaos King literally has a metal whip inside his stomach! And he can use bullet attacks. Chaos King would simply have to disarm Asgore, dodge a couple of complicated bullet patterns, then scorpion Asgore's soul. So in this scenario, Asgore seems outmatched.

Also in neutral run if you pick mercy at the end of his battle he will end up killing himself so u can take his soul. (I believe) so yes he got beaten up by a child but you got to think about somethings before going into chaos kings case. In my opinion I like Asgore’s theme better but it’s whatever you think is better. Asgores child doesn’t have a soul plus all the resets before and after you fell, come on Thank you for your time. We could say that because of Ralsei's heal he was stronger, but I believe he was pretending the entire time. Also, CK being 'too tired' to fight is also the game's way of either truly sparing him or killing him without the final cutscene.
it's interesting a comparison between Asgore and "King" Asgore looks like a true king, a strong and wise leader, loved by his people and feared by the players at the beginning of the game but actually he's just a fallen king of a dying kingdom who hope in him for the freedom but he lost his hope for everything. A good person who did reprehensible things and now he's destroyed by pain for what he did, his family is broken and his children are dead. He even feels sorry for the player/Frisk that he cannot let him go, even if this would mean his own death. On the contrary "King" looks like a bully, a true monster, considered by his people a tyrant (despite he believes they consider him an hero) and barely considered during the game. He doesn't want "freedom", he just doesn't trust in lightners and prefers that nothing changes. A bad person who acts in good faith but doesn't seem to estimate his son a lot. He mocks the player's will to "spare" him and fights to kill even if this is unnecessary.
He's a Chaos master and is more chaotic than a chaos king XDDD (He's actually a jester which is a person that entertains the king and queen, and jevil's name says it all :b)

Its very interesting to hear the slight influences of bergentruckung throughout, (appart from the obvious parts) , though i've never heard such a sombre tune manipulated to a more distorted, bass-hevy format, very nice.

Listen I have full faith in Asgore and how powerful he is, but Chaos King literally has a metal whip inside his stomach! And he can use bullet attacks. Chaos King would simply have to disarm Asgore, dodge a couple of complicated bullet patterns, then scorpion Asgore's soul. So in this scenario, Asgore seems outmatched.
@@Crowzey560 I’m not going to say your wrong about Asgore losing to a child but.. I’m sure he isn’t really trying his hardest to stop the child from doing so. (Now I haven’t played Undertale to stick with me when I talk about this) but you got to think about how undyne says she couldn’t land a single hit on him, which mean he could Dodged their attacks anytime he wanted to, but when you fight him he doesn’t move a muscle, he lets you attack him. Also in neutral run if you pick mercy at the end of his battle he will end up killing himself so u can take his soul. (I believe) so yes he got beaten up by a child but you got to think about somethings before going into chaos kings case.
In my opinion I like Asgore’s theme better but it’s whatever you think is better.

@@OrriRosman True, but I'm sure he pretended to be exhausted in order to kill the lighters by deceiving them. We could say that because of Ralsei's heal he was stronger, but I believe he was pretending the entire time. Also, CK being 'too tired' to fight is also the game's way of either truly sparing him or killing him without the final cutscene.

Honestly, one of the best and most powerful Chaos King remix I’ve ever heard, and then the mix with Asgore’s theme makes it a lot better.
it's interesting a comparison between Asgore and "King"
Asgore looks like a true king, a strong and wise leader, loved by his people and feared by the players at the beginning of the game but actually he's just a fallen king of a dying kingdom who hope in him for the freedom but he lost his hope for everything.
A good person who did reprehensible things and now he's destroyed by pain for what he did, his family is broken and his children are dead.
He even feels sorry for the player/Frisk that he cannot let him go, even if this would mean his own death.
On the contrary "King" looks like a bully, a true monster, considered by his people a tyrant (despite he believes they consider him an hero) and barely considered during the game. He doesn't want "freedom", he just doesn't trust in lightners and prefers that nothing changes. A bad person who acts in good faith but doesn't seem to estimate his son a lot.
He mocks the player's will to "spare" him and fights to kill even if this is unnecessary.
