    The public should be very excited about this. Needs onshore battery storage. Any news of timing on that?

    There was talk about a artificial island to be built in Dogger Bank. It was said to be about 3-6 KM diameter, with a harbor inside, and a landing ramp able to accommodate larger jet planes. It would actually be a great place for a nice restaurant and hotel to serve both tourists and employees of the wind farm.
    The country that develops the island, would it be their territory? Could they tax the income then? Control the area within 12 miles from the island? It would make a great place to collect local power, then export via DC high voltage, so that frequency of the power systems in other countries will not be a problem.

      Knowing the Russian penchant for levelling down by making the rest of the world as poor and grim as Russia, a bit of defence capability might be needed more than a tourist destination.
