I was hoping for that when they started talking, this took me back to ME1 and was like, damn another Udina vs Anderson, Morda was gonna be my Anderson.. But it diverged.. Confused now..
To be fair, her reaction to Hayjer proves otherwise. Nobody seems to care that Hayjer himself is a good/nice Salarian - they're too focused on the fact that picking him is what Tann wants. As such, Kesh - the first person to express kindness to you on the Nexus at the start - reacts the most horribly simply because they hate Tann more than anything in the universe and he got his wish. Having said that, yes, Kesh really is a cool character and pretty level-headed, though she does have her own agenda for being there.
@@RopeDrink But when Ryder spoke to him he said he was working closely with Tann who had been very helpful to him. Hayjer is too soft and Tann is placing himself in the perfect place to influence his choices and to keep control and if it all goes to shit Tann is clean and Ryder is blamed because it was his choice
@@RopeDrink I mean I think having a Pathfinder go path find is more important, but she seems level headed yes. Too me Bradly is just the no brainer here; it's like Udina vs Anderson. While I definitely also get the Moshaes side, but this position is temporary, and so far Bradly doesn't seem like the guy who's hungry to try and keep his power once the position is going to be absolved.... Morda is the yolo fun answer though; if we ever get sequels, I'd like to see the consequences of that pick lol.
Turians and krogan got shafted. Then again Turiand are known for being the most advanced and strongest in terms of military in the milky way. You learn that when you play mass effect 3 on one of the moons of turian world as you kill numerous reapers.
I went with The Moshae. 1) Hayjer is good but the "Nexus Family" as Tann puts it is disfunctional and held together by strings 2) Morda is a powder-keg waiting to explode, only time I'd agree with Tann. Yes they were wronged by Tann and Spender, but once there numbers rise and they start sprending again, Morda's goal wont be peace and rebuilding like Wrex and Eve. (But almost worth it for Drack's approval, Tann's Horror and better relations with Morda, however slim that is) 3) Bradley is a good choice, easy going, knows how to read people and diffuse conflicts, wether by soft-touch or force. His actions make him the obvious choice except for 3 things; 1] He already is incharge of a major outpost. The work load will be overwhelming 2] He is human. Human Pathfinder chosing a Human Ambassador. The Initiative will be in an uproar over a biased choice. 3] See Moshae choice 4) The Moshae as an Angaran will help squash the Roekaar, as surrendering power to the natives of Andromeda will show the Initiative not as a invading force. Also Moshae has much of the attributes of Bradley. She is already an icon to her people, this will make her a power everyone in Heleus will have to look up to. Bradley or Moshae, anyone else is just asking for trouble in MEA2
Why not Raeka? She has shown to sacrifice herself to save more salarians. She's no politician, but she's got some badass guts. And she's actually making me wish she was on my squad rather than Liam!
Yeah, another good choice, I almost forgot about her. You have to choose between her and the Krogan Scouts. And I usually chose Krogan Scouts, just to improve Krogan Relations and plus I like making Drack happy since he is always on my team.
I chose Raeka because she's the only original Pathfinder left, is level-headed, competent, and compassionate, and can hopefully mend fences among the Salarians and the Krogan, given time and a new galaxy. I feel bad that Kesh and Drack are pissed, but I hope they can put aside their differences since I gave them the core and the seed vault. You can't please everyone, but you can set the stage.
I actually chose Bradley for ambassador cause he reminds me alot of Anderson from the original trilogy. Sure he might not be the best politician but he is no puppet and has a down to earth kinda vibe honestly.
Björn Rosengren I like how if you wear the N7 armor he treats it pretty chill despite his obvious disapproval. He doesn't want you wearing it, but he doesn't feel it is his place to tell you what to do.
I see what you mean. However they said "interim ambassador" so it's probably not gonna be long term I thought just someone that will create some form of council. Morda is imo a devious krogan though so i dont like her being everyone's representative, which leaves Moshae to be the most neutral party at least in Nexus affairs.
Well, since the N7 Armor is your father's he also says "We stay out of each others grief" so I took it as he just view it as a son/daughter using the armor to be able to have a final connection with their father.
My Pathfinder was utterly fed up with the politicking bullshit of the Nexus and just gave them the proverbial finger by backing Morda, since they ambushed him so suddenly, without notice, RIGHT OUTSIDE his recovering sister's room, at the tail-end of nearly flaying both his own and her brains to shreds over screwing around with Remnant interfacing. They want their political posturing and attitude to amount to anything, they're going to have to finally accept some hard truths and responsibility, and this time, throwing the problem out the airlock isn't going to be an option. Now gimmie my damn ship, my damn crew and "My Damn Turian", we've got hero business to attend to. And if you ain't got your shit sorted out by the time I rescue me some Quarians, we're coming back to Keelah some despots!!!
I thought the Moshae was the best choice. I mean we're new to Andromeda and Heleus and this is the Angara's home. I think we need to honor and respect the Angara. And why not solidify the Initiative and Angaran relations? I mean we have a lot left to learn in Andromeda. Why not learn from people who know it already?
@Lockjaw It has nothing to do with who did the most. It has everything to do with paying the entry respect for us crashing in your backyard. The Andromeda Initiative was a last ditch effort to escape the Reapers should Shepherd have failed. They went believing that they might be no life there. Yet there was. Since the Initiative has no choice but to stay there, might as well pay the entry fee and give the neighbors a lot of say, instead of just taking over.
@Lockjaw i don't give a fuck what Tann or Addison said, they're the one whose fucked up the entire initiative, their admistration fucked everyone up, putting Spender on a job, the three Sabers (those are all Addison's incapability to maintain peace on the Nexus) for Tann, exiling the Krogan and thinking only about his Kinds and not the entire initiative as a whole, we are one damn it
@@DarthMalgusSith_Lord All of the Initiative administrators are incompetent fools even Kesh is one of them. Kendros is a typical soldier who choose military presence over anything. He tries to empose Turian life style to every race. Kesh is an incompetent fool who couldn't expose Spender. She had the time and resources to do it. Also Jien Garson murder is also another incompetence situation.
Plot twist, Udina takes over anyway. I kid. It seems like the only choice that solicits negative responses from pretty much everybody is agreeing with Tann (Addison still calls you Ryder). Picking Bradley seems to be the equivalent of non-choice/cop-out. That leaves Moshae and Morda as the only strong (positive?) statement, and I'm sorry but Morda is no Eve. I don't see that working out in the long run.
I think it is supposed to give you race options. One Human, One Angaran, One Salarian, one Krogan. I went with Morda, because it is not a final choice and the Krogans deserve to join the counsel.
Moshae is the most reasonable choice for me. I mean she is the leader of Angara, kinda and Heleus IS their galaxy soo why not have their leader as a representative to make sure they are involved ?
Yeah I think they really screwed up with the Moshae's request. Rescuing the angarans was the right choice. Why? Because there's a reason why the people in that lockup were called "chosen": those were THE best and brightest of Angarans. They're vital to the war effort. I guess when you've been tortured for months, you won't be thinking very clearly.
What I wanna know is, how many people remembered that giving the krogan a voice was part of your deal with Morda? To quell the uprising on the nexus, all she wanted was a means for her people to be seen as more than brutes for the politicians to sic on people who they want gone, so of course they left when they got backstabbed for their help. Then when she made that deal with pathfinder ryder on Elaaden, she had EVERY opportunity to wring as much as she could out of you, but didn't. Yeah she wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows, but ALL SHE FUCKING ASKED FOR was what she originally wanted in the first place, nothing more than that. Not picking Morda as ambassador is no different than when Nexus leadership broke their promise to the krogan, you'd just be breaking the promise you made as your end of the agreement. When you're in a position of power, you can't make a decision without pissing some people off, (ex. Evfra getting mad that you didn't pick Moshae) but not picking Morda for the above reasons is BOUND to just make things even worse.
Just beat Andromeda a day or so ago. I chose Bradley. After spending the entire game playing super diplomatically and considerate to the Angara, I felt like choosing Bradley was a reasonable bridge between the Heleus natives and Initiative. The Moshae is a good choice as well, but it seemed a little odd to have her be the representative of the outposts/colonies AND Angaran since she isn't particularly connected or interactive with the people of the Initiative. She's a fantastic choice to represent the Angara, of course, but too disconnected from the Initiative to be a rep for both. The Salarian Pathfinder is far too deep in Tann's favor/plan for my taste. And Morda is way too volatile for a representative position for the entire collective of those not native to Heleus. She'd be fine for a Krogen rep on a council, but until that process begins, she's a bad choice for collective Ambassador. Kesh would've been a good choice in her stead. And if you were to look at it from a "realistic" point, the obvious choice would be Ryder. I doubt there would be many accusations of his ascent to Ambassador being motivated by power lust, considering how many compromises and non-materially beneficial tasks & ordeals they've done by that point.
You know I feel like the best decision would be All of the Above option not one or the other. Bradley: Speaks for all Initiative Outposts Morda: for the Krogan Moshae Sjefa: for the Angara Best way for everyone to have their say I guess Bioware want to make sure you get have internal conflicts in future games...not like the Kett Empire is enough of a enemy, or Outcasts/Collective is enough, or maybe creating new original races would work as well?
After completing it, my VI bot is locked into the game, went through the Hyperion, talking to crew and personnel with him trailing behind, right now I'm on the Tempest and he's following along.
Bradley: Strong, dependable and not for the political BS. However it's clear he's not made for that level of politics. That's no insult to him. He excels as leading a small to medium sized outpost where he still interacts and gets down with the residents, less so as a major politician. Morda: Anyone who picks this one is deluding themselves. She will never give up her grudge against the Initiative and will only use the position for her own gain. Salarian Pathfinder: Just a powerplay by Tann. The Pathfinder themselves are good people, but they wouldn't represent the people outside the Initiative upper ranks because they are a part of the initiative upper ranks. Moshae: This is the only logical choice. Despite wanting to personally secure the future of the Milky Way races in Andromeda, getting on the good side of the Angara is part of that, and the Moshae is a genuinely likeable character (as long as you destroy the facility). Ultimately it's between Bradley and the Moshae and for the purposes of wooing the Angara and ensuring their cooperation in agreeing to the Initiatives future and prosperity in Helius, it will be the Moshae. Bradley is a good choice as well, but would turn out like Anderson. Morally upstanding and not corrupt, but unlikely to get stuff done.
I haven't destroyed the facility but the Moshae only had one line where she says that i haven't listened to her advice but after that i think she is the same as if you destroyed it.
Morda is actually the best choice. As pig headed as she is, being thrown a bone in the beginning reduces the chances of a Krogan rebellion in the long term. Additionally, Morda will be under intense scrutiny by literally everyone throughout the entirety of her tenure... shit even Drack. Drack gives Ryder immeasurable power over Morda. Drack is the eldest Krogan in Andromeda and most respected amongst the Krogan outside of any shaman who may have tagged along. He is also the Keystone to rebuilding Krogan culture in Andromeda and Drack was not shy of mentioning his culture either. You reduce Tann's manipulative influence significantly because Morda will smell if ideas came from Tann. The Angara will have an easier time with politics because of how blunt Morda is and also spend a great deal of time learning about the Krogan reducing cultural conflicts in the long run. The Roekar will become weaker because Morda can make them sweat unless they work with the Moshae and the rest of the Angara. Lastly and probably most importantly the Turians will serve as everyone's Phalanx when dealing with Morda because they tend not to take shit from Krogan in general and know how to best impress Krogan... an equal show of force. Despite the obvious table hazards, Morda makes way for a more balanced and cooperative counsel in the long run.
@@KnightofAntiquity It's fair to say that while Morda can be hotheaded, she is somewhat reasonable, considering that she gives Ryder the option of allowing an outpost next to their colony. That said, I'm with some of the others with saying that the Moshae is the clear and most sensible choice. Heleus is their home, she carries a lot of respect and influence among the angara and can continue to solidify the relationship with her people and the Initiative, and maybe the exiles as well. As for the Roekar, as she said, her voice doesn't carry respect for everyone. But, I'd say that it's a big majority for those that it does, especially within the Roekar. She can help bring back the ones who felt disillusioned by what happened with Aksul (depending on your choice). That is needed, considering that xenophobia runs deep with that group (and many angara outside of it). It's something that the krogan could not accomplish. Any show of force would only embolden them, making a path to peace that much harder. Also, having the turians act as the middlemen between all groups may not work out so well. While krogan do respect a good show of force, they still carry a lot of animosity for the turians, just as much as the salarians. But yeah, the krogan definitely deserve a seat at the table, but that's something that should be sorted out while their working on putting a council together.
I love the krogan, and wanted to put them in power. Key word: wanted. I would have to if Morda wasn't the choice for ambassador. I get a really bad vibe from her. If the krogan option were anything like Wrex, Eve or Kesh, I'd have picked them in a heartbeat. I decided to choose Bradley instead. Seems the most representative of the Initiative and hopefully keen to work with the Moshae and the Angara.
It's weird watching videos with the other twin. Really like the mini mission where we get to play as the other twin. Hoping Scott and Sara are together in the dlcs and/or the next games. No more comas lol. And this choice was hard, chose August, but he seemed mad about it and the angarian didn't like it
I think I can sum up the dialogue options. Emotional = Family loving, caring, friendly, a very much "paragon" like Ryder. Logical = Straightforward, lacking in emotion, do what is best not what is wanted. Professional = Tough, no nonsense, lacking in entertainment. Also mostly lacking in good choices, IMO. Casual = Maybe not the best choices, but VERY entertaining. Like Renegade, but minus the asshole, and even more enjoyment.
Reading through the comments, I just realized nobody mentioned how Angara are a race who are always honest with their feelings and are thus incapable of being able to twist stuff behind political scenes. Having an Angara ambassador would mean that the ambassador would actually be able to state his/her opinions on the matter including his/her personal feelings without the fear and problem of ulterior motives being much harder to discern from a 3rd-party's point of view. They're not exactly Andromeda's "Aliens who can't lie.", but they aren't really suited to manipulative politics either so that's a safe bet to get an actually honest ambassador. Akksul pretty much embodied the fact that they couldn't be manipulative and get away with it without being caught (since they're like, beings who are built to say their feelings into your face directly). Sure, the Moshae would be a source of difficulties since not all actually agree with her, but having that racial perk of being open with their feelings would definitely save the Nexus from any issues concerning dirty politics coming from said ambassador in the future. Heck, she even wanted you to sacrifice her brethren to prevent further Kett advantages and suffering from happening so she at least knows the weight of having to choose the death of her own people over others. The Krogan would probably react the same as Drack (while still being unhappy of not getting a Krogan Ambassador) that it's better to have an honorable and honest ambassador than any other ambassador who could have issues like being biased or racially inclined. Not a Salarian (plus possibly manipulated by Tann)? Check. Not a fellow human? Check. Not a Krogan who could probably hold a ticking time bomb grudge? Check. Not the MC? Check. That's my choice then.
Frankly its a horrible idea to pick the Moshae. Too susceptible to manipulation. Bradley is a great pick for the interim but he does not solve long term issues as far the relationships that need to built. Heyjer is a bomb that will cause issues. While a respectable and humble Salarian he will naturally be treated with intense suspicion because of Tann... at all times.... even when Tann has nothing to do with his work whatsoever. Morda is the best pick. Morda would quickly learn about the absurdly honest nature of the Moshae and will never take their word with a grain of salt. Equally the Angara's inquisitive nature would allow them to befriend the Krogan... their story would easily make many of them cry... especially if Drack started talking about what Tuchanka was like before the Krogan nuked it. Morda will smell Tann's influence on anything because it would be too organized. Morda will be scrutinized by everybody and keep her pinned. Simultaneously everyone would have rightfully places worry about Morda and would cooperate at appeasing her and the Krogan as a whole. Ryder gains power because Ryder has Drack and Kesh to hold Morda back if she goes to far. And the Roekar will quickly learn from the rest of the Angara that Morda would gladly murder them all if they cut up. And the Turians military focus would be suppressed by Morda simply out of repute of what happened in the Krogan rebellions forcing them to cooperate more closely with the Humans , Salarian, and Angara. The Asari... well they will be fine regardless of who is in charge tbh.
The differences with The Udina and Anderson choices ist the almost all option here are good choices and you most see more the cons Moshae: best option for me, wise his people loves her and she wants to build bridges but probably she will rest power to the initiative Bradley: Second best choice, his people respect him and is a level headed for an ex military, but already had the first settlement in Andromeda and add Meridian can be too much Morda: I like the idea of given more power to the Krogan in the initiative but......Morda even if she is more levelheaded for Krogan standards is well .....Morda Salarian pathfinder: Rekka and Hayjer are good people but the election goes with Tann's personal agenda
Salarians are the best. People who like the Krogan do so because "hehe, it's like an action movie and they be big with muscles". In reality you wouldn't like to be around them or have them in your politics. They should have their equal rights but not anything extra. They are dangerous no matter what their birthrates are at.
Honestly, my choice was the Moshae. We needed to show the Angara we want them at the table, a hand extended in friendship, and that we are committed to working together. My only other choice would be Morda, whose hard-hitting, no-nonsense ways would keep everyone on their toes and ensure complacency didn’t set in. She’s not be as diplomatic as someone like the Moshae or Bradley, true, but she’d definitely keep things interesting. Ultimately, my sole overriding concern was keeping the power of such a post out of Tann’s “Nexus family”.
Moshae = Best choice, and most comfortable. Hayjer = Honestly, worst choice. A lot of issues. Plus, Krogan distaste. Never good. Bradley = A really good choice, if sticking to the Initiative. He's a good one. Morda = The funniest one, easily. I am more than willing to choose that one. Tann squirms (worth it), and Morda ain't a bad choice. Krogan have never had a position of power in a council or so. Good relations. Edit: Also, Drack is awesome.
So the options are: >some random nobody colony leader >a fucking krogan >an ayyylium political figure from a new galaxy >a trustworthy salarian pathfinder that has proven to be a capable asset in dangerous situations Geee, what a hard choice. >"but Tann says mean things!" It's politics, and he proposes a capable candidate, instead of some nobodies and a fucking krogan of all people.
I think the Krogan should have there chance... If they screw up... We call Ryder to fix the mess :P And if its not going to explod in everyones face... The better ;J Lets give em a chance ;)
Thanks for the video. I had to finish the game first to finally watch all these other options. In my first playthrough I've chosen the Moshae and from what I've seen from these options, I think I will keep choosing her in every other playthrough.
Wow, I didn't get this game until after they patched up everything. Seeing Addison's face is... enlightening lets call it. Regardless, its a good game all things considered.
It really is a decent game. People were way too hard on it. I really liked the original trilogy too, but it's such a mess. Maybe people will finally see that with the Legendary Edition.
I think Morda is the best choice. This person is the go between Nexus and Outposts+Meridian basically, is a temporary position until elections. Krogans need to feel included, and if they are excluded there has to be recent relevant evidence as to why not. Fallout from Morda would be unfortunate but temporary and clarify things politically. If Morda started acting super cray they could probably remove her or accelerate the switch over to elections. Morda is Krogan AF, but she DID hold the Krogan Colony together, and made peace with you when it was smart to do so. And honors her agreement with you. She might not even be a bad ambassador. Bradley and Raeka would both be excellent ambassadors, but it's a politically very contentious decision no matter what Bradley or Raeka did in the position
Moshae Sjefa would be the next best, it would win a lot of points with the Angara, but there are lots of ways for the player to do that throughout the game, but even with everything else done in the game the Krogan still feel excluded and like the rest of the MW species look down on them, appointing Morda helps that so much and there aren't many if any ways to yet
I agree with your points, but I disagree that Raeka/Captain Salarian Pathfinder would be a great Ambassador. If you talk to him/her after picking them, they indicate they're working very closely with Tann, which implies Tann is going to use them as puppets. Tann is one of the reasons everything went to shit when they got there, so I wouldn't suggest going along with Tann. Fuck Tann.
Are you sure you're not thinking of Hayjer, Raeka's replacement? I could've sworn that if you talk to her privately after selecting her, she says something about being wise to Tann and how she isn't going to play politics
You may be right now that I recall it. Though it's fitting to pick Morda, the krogan agreed to stop the uprising in return for more voice within the Initiative. In the end, they got it ;o
I picked bradley, but I kinda wish I would have went with the moshae. Oh, well. They were both gpod options. Morda, though? forget it. Kesh is a different story
Morda, no if anyone else was dealing with her it wouldn't go over so well, she's a wild card. Hayjer would be in Tann's pocket the entire time, trying to manipulate him. The ambassador would essentially be Tann with that choice. Bradley is good but he is too safe. Safe is boring and he feels like the Admiral Anderson of Andromeda in that sense that he appreciates the job, but at the same time would rather be doing something more practical. I picked Moshae, because she is looked up to by most of the Angaran. She would help with relations which will help in the long run of settling Heleus as a whole. Also, since this is the first step in getting a council started it only makes sense to further introduce the Angaran into the fold since they were here first. After the council business stuff is done they can focus more on the Krogan. The Krogan brought such a small number with them so I think it would be easier to convince them in the long run to join back up. Honestly if for the Krogan ambassador if I got Nakmor or even Drack (who seems more level headed than he lets on) as a choice then I would have picked them.
To be fair, Hayjer is a level-headed Salarian and a nice person overall - I doubt he would be pulled into Tann's pocket willingly - most people react poorly purely because, hey, Fuckwit Tann got his wish - keeping Salarians in power.
Reading through the comments I feel like I'm the only one who chose Morda. It felt to me like she was so jaded from experiences, and stereotyping, and that if she was shown she actually matters, she would show the galaxy the good of Krogan nature. After a bit of a hard beggining. Guess we'll never find out though.
this reminds me of what i hated about that game: you either took the choice some writer with an agenda decided you shoudl take or everyone will tell you, you are wrong, even when the decision isn't simple good or evil
Tried to talk to Morda after this but got no response as far as Reaka goes i saved the Krogan scouts on this playthrough that is why i had Hayjer as option instead Raeka. And i really forgot about Raeka :/ might do a vid about it soon.
The fact that Morda just grunts at you after meridian really disappointed me. It's like they got lazy. I saved Raeka the first go around which really makes the choice hard because you know she would be a good choice and wouldn't be in Tann's pocket.
Well it technically isn't all options because you didn't show Raeka, which I know is also the same outcome as Hayjer. I don't know I just like Raeka more on my first playthrough and decided that was my main character, not just for that reason. I would never choose her though only because of the choice being influenced by Tann, and she/he is already a pathfinder. I would've given it to Kesh but you can't, so clearly the Moshae is the best choice.
I got vibes of everyone wanting to screw over the krogan over and over again....its like they didnt learn anything from the first wars from mass effect 1.
Salarian or Bradley were the only ones that made sense imo, why would you pick an Angaran as the Ambassador for the Nexus and Morda was a psycho. I would have went with the Asari Pathfinder if I had the option, Asari are the wisest and make the best diplomats and there are none in leadership roles in Andromeda.
I don't get why Kesh and Drakc are angry as if I picked Raeka because she is Salarian; I didn't. She is great character and Morda is just...Meh :/ I mean, I did pick Wrex and Krogans in ME3, so now might as well side with Salarians x3
I would have nominated Kesh as ambassador. She is very level headed, practical, doesn't lose her shit for no reason yet takes no shit from anyone either, most of the nexus trusts her and with her as ambassador she can strengthen the nexus Krogan alliance.
Exactly! Like, I would pick her any day! Morda? She was weird and I just didn't have trust in her. For me it is honestly either Moshae (might've spelled wrong) or Raeka.
yeah the salarian pathfinder is a great character and a true professional, it feels obvious to save her and support her for ambassador, but the game insists on making you feel bad for choosing someone who has earned my respect instead of my sympathy.
I hope E.A. makes an Alien League (Mass Effect League?) spinoff game/franchise, as an homage to the old Genesis Mutant League games. I'd love to see Krogans playing hockey, especially if there's a Salarian on the other team.
2:15 "...some may disagree, but they will trust it as a starting point." 4:07 "After all Drack did for you, you pick a salarian ambassador and show us what you really think of the krogan." I know the krogan have two of every organ, but I didn't know they were two-faced as well. Can never trust a damn lizard and I don't mean the salarians. At least Addison had the decency to apologize.
I chose Bradley. This ambassador is supposed to represent the people of Andromeda. Raeka's job as pathfinder isn't to be a government representative. Morda is a powder keg waiting to explode, and the Moshe just doesn't have the connection to the settlers of the initiative. Bradley is a man of the people as far as the initiative is concerned and he's got a great relationship with the Angara. He's the safest bet that people will be if not happy with at least accepting of
Thanks for the video! Anyone figure out how to trigger Evfra as ambassador yet? Apparently some people got him instead of Moshae. I chose her as well, but I was pleased to see the reactions of everyone here if you go with the, uh, more controversial krogan choice, lol.
No idea what triggers Evfra to be option as ambassador but i'm thinking it has to do with the Ancient AI and the Kett facility missions but not 100% sure.
Hayjer is a nice guy. Such a shame that everyone -- even Kesh, the first person to show kindness to you on the Nexus -- outright loathes you for picking him purely because it's what Tann wanted. Wonder if you get the same reaction if you save Raeka instead of the Krogan and pick her, though I suspect they still believe you're being 'pro-Tann'. I almost always save the Krogan (thus get Hayjer as Salarian PF). Poor Hayjer doesn't know what he's in for.
Thanks for sharing I ALWAYS pick the Moshae To not start that milky way bullshit in Andromeda in the first place But Korea would be my second choice But she is too temperamental for me And has too much hate The Angara shouldn't be kept out of politics in THEIR home And they have no history with being racist against the Krogan in particular So in my eyes the safest political choice in the long run
Morda. I don't want another milkyway. If we want to survive, the oncoming Kett and Reapers that are tailing the quarians, I'd suggest we put a Krogan in power.
I mean, ya moshae, I get it, you're pissed we chose a Nexus person to represent the cluster for now...the position is honestly pretty pointless; it feels like there should've been a representative of the angaran + a small council of outposts, then they elect a head.
I love both the mass effect trilogy and andromeda. I’m aware that the trilogy is better. But when it comes to the ending of choosing someone to lead. I think andromeda might have done it better. There are more choices with additional interesting consequences for the future (if andromeda had a sequel too but unfortunately that won’t happen thanks to the stupid haters). In the original trilogy choosing between Anderson and Undina had little differences besides some cutscene changes and whether or not your specter status is reinstated. That includes whether or not you save the council.
Raeka rather than Hayjel as Ambassador Interim actually works better since she says she won't let Tann h ave control. Scouts aside, there needed to be at least ONE original Pathfinder. However, BioWare decided to wrote it poorly, given all you do and accomplish it doesn't matter because you made a decision some people didn't like, bleh. So then ultimately you choose Bradley or Moshae because Morda is crazy.
Picked Morda because of bigger picture politics, even tho it was under the "clownish" option mark. She only seems to be the biggest asshole of them all (including both Sloan and Reyes), but this is the only chance that the rest of the present species would have a chance to reason with the krogans and their future inevitable explosive expansionism. It alse proved that leaving Drak's scout behind for Raeka was the right choice.
Thought it was a hard choice at first. But then I thought about. If we want an ambassador to the rest of the galaxy, should it really be an initiative one? The people of the galaxy need to know the Initiative is on their side, they aren’t gonna believe any initiative member who says that. So Bradley and Raeka/Hayjer are automatically out. Plus Bradley and Hayjer have limited leadership experience. So that leaves us with Morda and The Moshae. And this is simple to. For one, we all hate Morda. But also, let’s remember who’s home this was originally. It was the Angara’s home. And New Tuchanka is actually recognized by both the Initiative and Morda herself as an Initiative Outpost should you ease tensions between the two sides. It rejoins the Initiative. Which makes Morda AND her people members of the Initiative like Bradley and Raeka/Hayjer. So that leaves The Moshae. It’s her people’s home, it helps strengthen our bond with the Angara and put us on equal footing, she’s well liked by really the entire cluster, and she has a ton of leadership experience. A really easy choice.
I'd say the angaren (probably spelt that wrong) is the correct choice, letting the natives feel like they have a voice in galactic politics and all. But, logically, if I were pathfinder I'd select several ambassadors, one from each race to represent the finest of their species. It's not a matter of "One voice to rule all", it's a matter of showing we're a united front. Much like how a black man can't speak for whites and a white can't speak for blacks, we need people of all races, all creeds and all colors to truly represent the entirety of us all. God, here I am doing a soapbox speech about unity and self-identity among the masses and yet I'm an asshole. You know things are bad when I sound good. XD
Picking who you want, naming 1 of any other dozen characters instead of the chosen 4. What about a different pathfinder and not the salarian? Or how about your twin? The hyperion captain? Any one of your crew? (The Moshae is the only real choice, angara space, angara voice at the council.) Also, WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE GET TANN OUT OF OFFICE!!??!!?? That fucktard (excuse the language) needs to be removed from his seemingly high horse and knocked down a couple dozen or twelve pegs!!!!!!! (He loves to hear himself talk, I hate that about people!!) Lord all mighty I wanted him gone from the moment I first played the game earlier this year...
its a shame we cant pick Kesh as ambassador a levelheaded Krogan.
She would have been my choice for sure
I was hoping for that when they started talking, this took me back to ME1 and was like, damn another Udina vs Anderson, Morda was gonna be my Anderson.. But it diverged.. Confused now..
you can choose kesh if the outpost on eledaan doesn't go through
NO WAY!??? really
i havent seen any footage of that, you have any?
I wish you could pick Kesh. She seems to be the only level-headed krogan in this game.
ashley tait She is basically the Wrex of Andromeda.
@@RopeDrink Hayjer is very clearly Tann's puppet, and Tann knew it too. Of course Kesh is upset - and Addison was too, rightly so.
I actually wanted kandros to be an option, he's a strong turian militia leader. Also I think the Turians really needs more love in the game.
Turians are mistress's children in this game
yeah but where was he and his strike teams when the archeon attacked and stole the sis
just wait till the elcor get here, their diplomacy skills have no match
@@hooligan8368 Can't always make it in time.
Turians and krogan got shafted.
Then again Turiand are known for being the most advanced and strongest in terms of military in the milky way. You learn that when you play mass effect 3 on one of the moons of turian world as you kill numerous reapers.
I went with The Moshae.
1) Hayjer is good but the "Nexus Family" as Tann puts it is disfunctional and held together by strings
2) Morda is a powder-keg waiting to explode, only time I'd agree with Tann. Yes they were wronged by Tann and Spender, but once there numbers rise and they start sprending again, Morda's goal wont be peace and rebuilding like Wrex and Eve. (But almost worth it for Drack's approval, Tann's Horror and better relations with Morda, however slim that is)
3) Bradley is a good choice, easy going, knows how to read people and diffuse conflicts, wether by soft-touch or force. His actions make him the obvious choice except for 3 things; 1] He already is incharge of a major outpost. The work load will be overwhelming
2] He is human. Human Pathfinder chosing a Human Ambassador. The Initiative
will be in an uproar over a biased choice.
3] See Moshae choice
4) The Moshae as an Angaran will help squash the Roekaar, as surrendering power to the natives of Andromeda will show the Initiative not as a invading force.
Raeka is a Pathfinder....she should be out, you know...pathfinding. She belongs in the field.
You can't please everyone, but you can set the stage.
randy torraville maybe in 2024...
Tann.exe has stopped working
More like an UAC request.. He's PUP tho.
First time I've seen a Salarian bluescreen (although I didn't play MA1).
Prodigy ADED I chose this as well. If your going to bring a whole colony over, might as well acknowledge and empower those who already live there.
How do I unlock the kill Addison option?
Right lol
I was looking for "fuck Addison" option.
@@fcuk_x hahahaaahahha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Add Tann to that list.
@@fcuk_x You might find something on Rule34.
Jordan Williams agree, if Eve was here I will definitely pick her
omg fuckin udina i'm crying of laughter
Selecting the Moshae has the biggest upside in my opinion.
I chose the Moshae. It only seemed right since the Angara are the natives in Andromeda.
Clearly, Morda is the chaotic option, Bradley was the most neutral.
The reactions to choosing morda just make it all worth while. also kesh and drack love you for it, lmao made my mind up then
The game really wants you to pick the Moshae
Bradley: Speaks for all Initiative Outposts
Morda: for the Krogan
Moshae Sjefa: for the Angara
Best way for everyone to have their say I guess Bioware want to make sure you get have internal conflicts in future games...not like the Kett Empire is enough of a enemy, or Outcasts/Collective is enough, or maybe creating new original races would work as well?
Dafaq? I chose Moshae and was blamed. Shepherd was much better. Garrus used to back us everytime and he had a respect.
And wrex i bet he could be a good ambassador as krogan voice
I also picked morda because krogan waited too long for a seat
Why the fuck you can't pick Kesh?she's perfect to be ambassador, are you telling me you can pick morda but not kesh? wtf
Agreed. Kesh would be a far better Krogan choice. She reminds me of Eve from ME3. Oh man, Eve would've been a perfect ambassador for the Krogan.
Kesh is Nexus leadership. She can't exactly be the voice for the people of Andromeda when she doesn't leave the Nexus.
A Salarian lost for words..... WOW!
After completing it, my VI bot is locked into the game, went through the
Hyperion, talking to crew and personnel with him trailing behind, right
now I'm on the Tempest and he's following along.
I really like Zap (that's the name of your Remnant Observer drone). How did you do that? Clearly, it's a glitch, but a glitch I want to reproduce.
LOL Tann's reaction to Krogan ambassador is just priceless
Morda is the better choice long term.
Thank you so much for making this video!!!
No problem. :)
Moshae is the most logical option. An experienced diplomat and a leader.
I had four options. I chose the Krogan. New galaxy, it's time the Krogan were given a proper chance to prove themselves in representing everyone.
He will backstab you the first chance he gets.
Jesus, Kesh is always so precious. All Krogans do is cry about Salarians their whole life for something that happened over 1000 years ago
Space black people
Major Kirrahe
Kirrahe, I would have chose you to be ambassador
I always pick Salarian John Hurt, ah I mean Hayjer. He's a fellow Pathfinder so why not?
The differences with The Udina and Anderson choices ist the almost all option here are good choices and you most see more the cons
Moshae: best option for me, wise his people loves her and she wants to build bridges but probably she will rest power to the initiative
Bradley: Second best choice, his people respect him and is a level headed for an ex military, but already had the first settlement in Andromeda and add Meridian can be too much
Morda: I like the idea of given more power to the Krogan in the initiative but......Morda even if she is more levelheaded for Krogan standards is well .....Morda
Salarian pathfinder: Rekka and Hayjer are good people but the election goes with Tann's personal agenda
I know many people disagree with me but i like salarians xD
The only salarian i liked was Mordin from the trilogy :P
dude what about Captain Kirrahe? dude was lit.
GrnArrow7 but not all salarians are bad! There are some "curious ones" i mean some humans are even worst
Pathfinder Raeka all the way :)
Morda, it’s just sounds more fun, I also look forward to the first time a Kett diplomat insults a Krogan ambassador! Hah!
Yeah, I don't think the kett practice diplomacy, so that won't be a problem.
So the options are:
>some random nobody colony leader
>a fucking krogan
>an ayyylium political figure from a new galaxy
>a trustworthy salarian pathfinder that has proven to be a capable asset in dangerous situations
Geee, what a hard choice.
>"but Tann says mean things!"
It's politics, and he proposes a capable candidate, instead of some nobodies and a fucking krogan of all people.
This. Picked him as well. Kinda stupid how the Krogan were pissed about it just because Tann had the same idea but for another reason.
Lmao @Morda being picked. there have been tables flipped in anger, in celebration and at random. XDDD
That moment when you realize Geth in ME1 had much more convincing voice acting then any character in Andromeda.
Bradley and Raeka would both be excellent ambassadors, but it's a politically very contentious decision no matter what Bradley or Raeka did in the position
what about Moshae Sjefa, she seems she would make a great ambassador too!
Moshae or Morda.
Tanns response was pure awesome
Reading through the comments I feel like I'm the only one who chose Morda. It felt to me like she was so jaded from experiences, and stereotyping, and that if she was shown she actually matters, she would show the galaxy the good of Krogan nature. After a bit of a hard beggining. Guess we'll never find out though.
i also picked morda. reason why because drack is my homie
this reminds me of what i hated about that game: you either took the choice some writer with an agenda decided you shoudl take or everyone will tell you, you are wrong, even when the decision isn't simple good or evil
You’re delusional
TL;DR Everyone is mad at you if you didn't chose the candidate from their race.
*No Pathfinder Reaka or conversation with Morda?!?!*
I know i made a video with Raeka laters when i .. replayed the game
Ok haha
I'll just save my game before this final choice and start playing the multiplayer until I know the the outcome of each one in the next game :P
Choose Morda every time.
I picked Morda. KROGAN ALL THE WAY!!!
Me too. I really hate Tann lol
I'm pro Krogan too, but I think Kesh is a better option than Morda IMO.
ya it sucks we couldn't pick her. she was the obvious choice.
1 mend broken promise
2 because tann
3 they made outpost on their own
I got vibes of everyone wanting to screw over the krogan over and over again....its like they didnt learn anything from the first wars from mass effect 1.
11:10 How did I not recognise Kumail Nunjiani?
why couldn't we get an Asari
Salarian or Bradley were the only ones that made sense imo, why would you pick an Angaran as the Ambassador for the Nexus and Morda was a psycho. I would have went with the Asari Pathfinder if I had the option, Asari are the wisest and make the best diplomats and there are none in leadership roles in Andromeda.
I don't get why Kesh and Drakc are angry as if I picked Raeka because she is Salarian; I didn't. She is great character and Morda is just...Meh :/
I mean, I did pick Wrex and Krogans in ME3, so now might as well side with Salarians x3
Ram Kitten because you chose to save salarians over the krogan scouts then chose them again over the krogan
2:15 "...some may disagree, but they will trust it as a starting point."
4:07 "After all Drack did for you, you pick a salarian ambassador and show us what you really think of the krogan."
I know the krogan have two of every organ, but I didn't know they were two-faced as well. Can never trust a damn lizard and I don't mean the salarians. At least Addison had the decency to apologize.
It made more sense in my game, since i also chose to leave the Krogan behind and rescue the Salarian pathfinder in the Archon Ship mission.
He's the safest bet that people will be if not happy with at least accepting of
Actually all of EOS Bradleys lines change after ambassadorial ship.
I say if its up to me, i will always choose the stupidest most arrogant and power hungry one as the leader, that way it will always suit my interests
Probably when you take sides on Evfra fucking up but i'm not sure
I love the Krogan Ambassador. THE BEST OUTCOME IN THE WORLD
Hayjer is a nice guy.
I think he ends up betraying them. Somehow Cerberus plays in the picture and he's a part of it.
Thanks for sharing
I ALWAYS pick the Moshae
To not start that milky way bullshit in Andromeda in the first place
But Korea would be my second choice
But she is too temperamental for me
And has too much hate
The Angara shouldn't be kept out of politics in THEIR home
And they have no history with being racist against the Krogan in particular
So in my eyes the safest political choice in the long run
Those eyes are like looking at a corpse.
Couldn’t believe Kesh said that after all Ryder did for the elaaden colony and for Drack, really unfair
I want another Mass Effect damnit
Morda. I don't want another milkyway. If we want to survive, the oncoming Kett and Reapers that are tailing the quarians, I'd suggest we put a Krogan in power.
When I seen I could make the krogan have more of a word what happens I couldn't help myself to make everyone suffer more with the worst pick lol
That includes whether or not you save the council.
how do you get that armor and jacket i really want that armor
If you are referring to the hoodie u need to get the deluxe edition of the game.
Northalix thx I got the armor
Krogan are such babies. If they dont get their way they just get mad at you. Really 1 dimensional writing.
Why no one who choose Morda as ambassador talk to Morda?
Tried no response, Morda only "grunts" no dialogue sadly :/
Raeka rather than Hayjel as Ambassador Interim actually works better since she says she won't let Tann h ave control. Scouts aside, there needed to be at least ONE original Pathfinder.
However, BioWare decided to wrote it poorly, given all you do and accomplish it doesn't matter because you made a decision some people didn't like, bleh.
So then ultimately you choose Bradley or Moshae because Morda is crazy.
I think the Moshae is the best choice.
I chose the Moshae. The Initiative are immigrants, not colonizers.
How do I picked peebee
Picked Morda because of bigger picture politics, even tho it was under the "clownish" option mark. She only seems to be the biggest asshole of them all (including both Sloan and Reyes), but this is the only chance that the rest of the present species would have a chance to reason with the krogans and their future inevitable explosive expansionism.
It alse proved that leaving Drak's scout behind for Raeka was the right choice.
No Krogan choice? Then it's not all options is it? 😤
Yeah, yeah yeah. Still, no female Salarian.
Does Morda respond to this?
No, just the usual snorts. Which is the biigest letdown in the whole game RPG-wise for me ^(
Wish I could've chosen Urdnot Wrex.
He’s in the Milky Way
HOORAH KROGAN!!!!
I always pick the moshie
XD
so whitch one is more usefull to choose
I guess it doesn't matter since there won't be any sequel... but i went with the Moshae personally.
I picked morda...well just to annoyed Tan
Picking who you want, naming 1 of any other dozen characters instead of the chosen 4. What about a different pathfinder and not the salarian? Or how about your twin? The hyperion captain? Any one of your crew?
(The Moshae is the only real choice, angara space, angara voice at the council.)
Also, WHY THE HELL CAN'T WE GET TANN OUT OF OFFICE!!??!!??
That fucktard (excuse the language) needs to be removed from his seemingly high horse and knocked down a couple dozen or twelve pegs!!!!!!! (He loves to hear himself talk, I hate that about people!!) Lord all mighty I wanted him gone from the moment I first played the game earlier this year...
Dating Drack???
