Me and my Mom were decorating the tree, waiting for my Dad to come home from work. Couple hours went by, Dad wasn't home. So Mom called the office. No answer. Christmas Day came and went, and still nothing. So, the police began a search. 4 or 5 days went by. Neither one of us could eat or sleep. Everything was falling apart. Then it started snowing outside. The house was freezing, so, I went to try to light up the fire. And that's when I noticed the smell. Firemen had to come and brake through the chimney top, me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird, but instead, they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney on Christmas Eve, his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck, died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.
I'm a millennial with a baby boomer mom. It's weird because while most of my peers grew up with siblings or parents who love 80s culture, I didn't. Thus, while I grew up with the Beatles and 70s movies.... I've actually never seen gremlins. I should change that.

Christmas movies have to have the holiday be the main focus. Die Hard, Batman ect are movies that take place on or during the holiday but aren't Christmas movies. If that is your only criteria then every movie that takes place on Easter is an Easter movie. Or if there is a baseball scene in a movie lets just call it a baseball movie even though it would be a horror or drama whatever.
I have no problem watching “The Thing” and “Alien” but the vegetable Gremlin from Part 2 still bothers me to this day. It’s just weird.
