wow... so sad DBX lanuches a product but no support here, and this is only on the ones that find this video... I was going to ask whats the best wireless router to use. but i guess it would be just a waste of time... shame on DBX

So basically you use a router to connect wirelessly to the unit and it doesn’t matter if the router is connected to the internet or not? Unless you want to update it then you’d need to hook the router to the internet.
If so I guess I have a use for my old router then.

Did all of that. And had it. But when. I unplugged the Ethernet and moved back up stairs. I lost it. So. Does that mean in order to use your iPad. The unit needs to be connected to the Ethernet cable at all times. That’s not so cool when. I go out and play at a clubs.

My Android phone and Notepad won't let me " Check for Firmware Update" on my Notepad or Phone from my Driverack PA2 in my rack case, I did update my unit though from "My Firmware Updater" on the computer but when I try to check for updates from my Notepad or Phone it reads: ->..."there has been a network error please try again later", and yes I have the proper wireless router Netgear N54/N150

I get that you need to plug in a router to the driverack via the ethernet but does the Router itself have to be connected to the internet? If so not sure how i could manage this if taking the driverack to different venues. Can someone assist?

Lord Fuzzman no need to have internetconnection to use it. the wlan is just to remote control the device with tablet or smartphone.

Yes.. I used my self as as mobile Dj but they should make it wifi.

No your router does not need to be connected to the internet to use the software on your phone or tablet. But you do need to be connected to the internet to check for updates.

I bought the Pa2 dbx driverack and 2yrs now I've not been around the church I got but I try to do some new but it says IP address disable
I was thinking of resetting to factory reset

+kejprosound you have to hook up to the ports that your pc would normally hook up to. not the yellow wan or "internet" port

Hi. I got a problem here. i have a DHCP enabled router. LED lights are functioning well. tried hard reset but still under utility.system settings, all it shows is the default ip 127.0.0.1. it doesnt even shows the MAC address for the PA2. can you help me on this one.?

No internet required. Your connecting to the router, not the internet. I use a dedicated router for my PA2. The tablet recognizes the router as a Wi-Fi network regardless of internet connection.

+Nermin Hajrulahovic the dbx's will have different IP addresses therfore should show up as 2 seperate units on the app
