@@lyniahcephas3549 Well that isn't actually true every time we see ben that's counts as powers. The whole ben scene is an example of what Claus can do for example he can summon a ghost to take control of his enemies. He can also use his ghost to pick him up and used them as mobility. Now I know those things are very subtle but this season was mostly for show and improve their powers. But next season their fighting the Rival Academy.
I think they choose the swedish to finish the task because hazel and chaca has mind and heart and srewed everyrhing. So they choose someone who doesn't have feeling or something like that
Loved all of the season, but two of my favorite scenes was the dinner with Reginald and the sibling interaction between Kkaus, Allison, and Vanya in the beauty salon.
I see the final Swede not going for Allison because of the "eye for an eye" thing. The Swedes killed Elliott in a wrongful revenge so the second Swede's death was even.
Well, as angry as he is about his brother's death, he understands that if you break into someone's house to try and kill them, they just might try and kill you back. The handler was the one who sent them on an improper mission, so she's the one to blame.
Ditto, I love Luther, and while I enjoyed him trying to be the middle man against the two Fives' antics, I wished that they'd give him his own storyline, and not have him act as the sidekick to his other siblings. 💪🌚💖
Trina Q Exactly, Luther deserved his own storyline, not a storyline that came from his siblings. He needed his own growth. I with they would’ve focused on him more rather then making him a background character for the other siblings. He has way too much potential to be a side character.
I actually think that Luther admittedly taking the backseat is a good contrast to first season Luther when he's the one trying to come forward and still be the umbrella academy leader.
Can we talk about how amazing the teen actor portraying young Klaus is?? He’s such a good actor and studied the character and real actor soooo well! 👏🏻
My favourite character this season was diego.Especially when in the finale we see him control the direction of the bullets(also not sure if its magnetism/telekenisis/being able to manipulate the air around objects, not sure tho) Excited to see his powers next seasons(also klaus and lila)
Elliot didn't deserved to be torturously killed by The Swedes but they literally had to do any tasked that was given to them by The Commission. And it's especially sad since you can clearly see how much the brothers loved each other
I wish they delved more into Klaus’s powers because I found it so frustrating that he only figured out a bit of his powers at the end. But other than that, this season was *AMAZING*
Actually it happens whether or not five is there. That’s why in the first season, he finds the rest of the Academy dead because he wasn’t there to transport them to the past. And why in the second season, Diego asks him where he was the whole time.
@@alonsabiju1477 no, my friend. His time travel and interference in order to prevent the end of the world actually sets off the chain of events that lead to Vanya ending the world.
@@Lonelyeco I don't think they are biological but if they were adopted and raised as siblings (like Allison and Luther) it would without a doubt be incest
@@marad786 the origin of their existence is still unknown. So we can't be certain whether or not they are biological. I can't give a real answer until more information comes to light. But at least they were raised together.
Diego not Vanya is the real cause if their problems when the go into the past. He is trying to change the timeline from day one practically and this was bound to cause ripple effects that involved the other siblings and the different future.
I felt so bad for him, but it's actually pretty realistic as far as what happens in trauma filled families with an abusive parent. People like to imagine siblings sticking up for each other, but it's like a habit to say nothing when you have been indoctrinated to never speak back to that parent.
I felt like the second season was better as it fixed many of the first seasons flaws. The pace was much better with the shorter episodes. Also, there were not as many plot holes as the first season had
Lots of scenes were shot in my city, Hamilton ontario apparently has a 60’s Dallas vibe. One morning I was skateboarding home from my night shift and passed through them setting up the street it was pretty cool not gunna lie they changed all the street signs and that was the first thing I noticed, I thought I took a wrong turn cause so many of the store fronts had also been changed. My girlfriend saw fives while going on a grocery run and there were a few times we saw kids walking around in uniforms. The street they pop into with the large AVON sign 7:53 is actually called Ottawa St. And thats a real building. The scene were it shows down the whole street, ya its a long street but not that long and theres a lake not to far further lol. For anyone who wanta to walk through “60’s dallas” look up Ottawa st Hamilton ontario
I watched this all in a day. It was so good! In the first scene where Five sees the newspaper, it says JFK has ordered invasion of Russia, so that whole thing wasn’t a surprise twist. But still entertaining. As usual Klaus was amazing, but actor-wise Aidan Gallagher killed it. I’m not really that jazzed about the addition of Lila, she was a bit annoying. Other than that I’m psyched for season three!
I really enjoyed this season! You can really see the character development in all of them, they've become more united than they were in Season 1, like they actually care bout each other.
I love the line "Vanya, who was rumored to have no powers" because Allison literally rumored her to make her think she was ordinary and didn't have powers
@@missflyangel1 But is that a statement on Allison or lilas? I say that because rumors power on herself ends when Lila start using the power of another sibling in the house.. In season one she makes Vanya forget about her powers and they were not in touch for the 16 years after they separate. Unless I'm missing something.
They should do a Christmas episode where they share stories to five about enemies he missed and it can be like a way to introduce the comic villains who are in the hotel and one where they do the Murder Magician free comic special.
I loved this season even more than season 1 and they truly flipped my perspective of the characters I really liked Diego in season 1 but he became sorta mid tier for me and Alison I hated but she was likeable this time around. Klaus and Number 5 amazing faves but Luther sadly is last place for me oh the irony. Vanya and Ben also moved up some points. It so well done I truly enjoy all the characters even Elliot and the Handler
I wonder if we will see the alternate version of them and see they personalities if they had actual parents and how they handle there powers it probably wont tho scince they where born all over the world
Re: Five time traveling and ripples/effects, I would forgive his lack of care and real knowledge about branching off timelines because his job at the Commission is *maintaining* the timeline and he never really deals with it otherwise.
I dont think Rob would want to do a spin off because he doesnt want to be pidgin holed. Or at least thats why he left misfits. Idk if thats still his stance.

i think by since she saved him if she removed all her powers from him he would die again bc he doesn’t have any light in him if that makes any sense
dailylife_sasha I think that’s how it worked too!
@Salty bee yes, Vanya and Harlen have the same Powers, due to the fact her Powers is what saved him, and if she were to take away her Powers out if him, he would cease to exist..
The one thing I didn’t like about s2 is the fact they didn’t show the scene of klaus looking for ben after he died.
Agreed. He just disappeared and Klaus was like ok
Irrelevance right!! I know they fought a lot during this season but I thought klaus would show a little more sympathy lmao
i think Klaus knew Ben was gone, he was sober and Ben wasn’t around and must have figured it out on his own. Also, the series was really fast paced so let’s just hope they fill it in the next season
can't ben just wander around without klaus like a normal ghost? cause it would make sense and he would be use to it already since they're not talking as much
No it's cause if they had klaus greet ben, it would seem normal because he's the only one that can see him anyways but if someone else did, that means something's up
Isn’t it basically revealed in s1 that their dad is an alien? I mean we see him in some weird giant space with his sick(?) wife(I assume) then we see him on earth in like 1920 looking the same as he does in 2019 and 1960
Yes, many people forget this, but that scene had already confirmed him being an alien. I think the scene in season 2 where he takes of his human face was to make it obvious to those who did not get it...
but what did he do like, the powder in the air???
@@aidannive5236 Rewatch the moments where Vanya saves Harlan at the lake and where she takes her powers back from him at the barn. THOSE LIGHTS ARE THE 43 KIDS AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL!!!!!
@@SarahSharpe1231 i read somewhere it was this one being(I will say being because I'm not exactly who or what it was) with powers and came to earth and split into 43 parts,a being who stops the apocalypse
I’m surprised people were so shocked cuz that made it pretty obvious. And even as someone who hasn’t read the comics yet apparently it’s literally revealed in like the very beginning of it.
me s1: hey at least, I'd never have to worry about ben dying again
s2: oh...
Totally, you'd THINK that the dead sibling would be spared from death again, but you'd be sadly mistaken! ☠️😭💔
They did Carmichael dirty, if he had survived in that bowl then he could have gotten a new body in Season 3.
I thought that the whole fish bowls in his office might’ve been different minds that can control the body
YES
He was my favorite character in the comics and I’m so sad
I know when the handler legit just swallowed him i-
allison But in the Comic, it’s Five who swallowed AJ, lol!
Maybe he survived in her stomach acid(Yes I know how unlikely that is).
i LOVE it when a show "foreshadows" what's gonna happen seasons away instead of just a few episodes and this show does it so well! and it only has 2 seasons so far!!
Ben: “Luther sniffs dad’s underwear“
Diego: “holy shit”🤭😪🥺
😭😭😂😂
What impressed me the most is No.5 you actually believe he is and older man in a teenager body
Can we get Luther and the homeless man yelling Allison on loop ? 😭
I know I can’t be the only one who tries to find the umbrella before they show you in the beginning
it’s much better to watch it before watching these so you get surprised. really funny and great show
tbh the most creative one to me was the blood splatter
I watched all 10 hours of the umbrella academy in one sitting it was AMAZING
I've finished it twice lmao 😂
same. and now, we gotta wait... again
aye g for a year
Same
But in the hour it came I that’s when I started
16:19 bruh that made me so sad when he started stuttering again
Still kinda disappointed that the Umbrella Academy turning into their younger self at the end of season one went nowhere. I was excited to see the younger cast have some time to shine
Lol an older cast is better than a younger cast no need to explain why
Not always. Maybe they’ll do it in another season and it can be good. Have you seen Stranger Things?
I think they did that just to show how they still are together as a family and get into peoples feels, also I agree I wanted more of them they are so pretty and I love how young Allison say’s “I heard a rumor”
@@jisutopia7850 Also like 5 is the most popular cause he's in a kid's body. Now imagine the full cast back in the past in their kids bodies but not being kids and trying to solve what's going on with their father and stuff.
They did my boi Klaus's power dirty... we didn't get to see him use his power makes me so disappointed
The opening scene?
Rock little that’s Barely anything everyone else in this season got to show off their powers
Ben enter his body.
I still can’t believe that the Umbrella Academy tackled the JFK assassination, the civil rights movement, and forbidden lesbian love in one season.
It’s crazy that Reggie picked different kids to adopt after meeting them as if his parenting wasn’t the reason they were all so dysfunctional
My one question is.
How did he know which kids to adopt and which ones they'd be? Their babies. It's not easy to look at a baby and know.
Number 5 made this season for me, but I was rather annoyed by the assassin's they seemed to have no point beside tension
I mean-
Five said Hazel and Chacha were good assassins but just said the Swedes were IKEA mafia
I loved them I genuinely felt rlly bad for them whenever one of them died and I’m excited for them to come back
@@justinejustine9130 true I was confused with there villain status I was like I empathize with these guys pretty early on
@@jerilyncruz5069 true if there good for anything it was a good punchline
I think they choose the swedish to finish the task because hazel and chaca has mind and heart and srewed everyrhing. So they choose someone who doesn't have feeling or something like that
"She's not our biological sister" 😂😂 ii literally died right there .. Diego and Luther are full on stupid this season 😂😂😂😂
The scenes and soundtrack in this season,
The character development,
The humor is just so amazing. My love for this show is overwhelming
Well said & I agree 💯
Loved all of the season, but two of my favorite scenes was the dinner with Reginald and the sibling interaction between Kkaus, Allison, and Vanya in the beauty salon.
I wish that AJ had a bigger part in the season.
the way they made me cry for a character who was already dead but now not rly because new timeline,,, i love this show
When I saw that their dad was the umbrella man at jfks assassination I freaked out. It was such a wierd reference
I loved this season. I liked it more than season 1 actually. And I agree with you, 5 was the best character and my favorite.
“My bad”
- Vanya
(Every time Vanya accidentally causes the apocalypse.) 😂
Luther definitely had the worst storyline this season it was barely there.
I know it sucked, he’s my favorite. He needs more of a development
LilyGibson definitely, there was a lot to work with this season but he got a bit neglected hope there’s more development next season. 😁
I was hooked too. So much pain and charisma
My favourite character this season was diego.Especially when in the finale we see him control the direction of the bullets(also not sure if its magnetism/telekenisis/being able to manipulate the air around objects, not sure tho)
Excited to see his powers next seasons(also klaus and lila)
I think his power is called vector manipulation
@@labyrinth1474 ohhhh ok thanks.I was struggling
17:29 I love Diego's line 😂
i still feel so bad for eliot and also the swedes brothers, especially when only the older brother's left ))-:
Elliot didn't deserved to be torturously killed by The Swedes but they literally had to do any tasked that was given to them by The Commission. And it's especially sad since you can clearly see how much the brothers loved each other
That scream at the Viking ceremony... I felt that ish
I wish they delved more into Klaus’s powers because I found it so frustrating that he only figured out a bit of his powers at the end. But other than that, this season was *AMAZING*
Basically it's another apocalypse that could've been prevented if Fives literally sat down and did nothing for a week.
That’s the point isn’t it?
Actually it happens whether or not five is there. That’s why in the first season, he finds the rest of the Academy dead because he wasn’t there to transport them to the past. And why in the second season, Diego asks him where he was the whole time.
@@alonsabiju1477 no, my friend. His time travel and interference in order to prevent the end of the world actually sets off the chain of events that lead to Vanya ending the world.
@@mariobecerra1022 yes but if he would have sat down and done nothing, the apocalypse still would have happened
@@jlatoo I disagree
Season 2 was waay better story telling than season 1 in my opinion.
Facts I’m excited to see what they do with season 3
One of the rare Netflix serie that didn't get worse with time , but became better
Luther + Allison is incest. Two siblings not knowing they're related would be more appropriate together than them. I liked her with her new husband
Its incest because the same thing impregnated all the mothers if you get me
They are not biological. And grew up more as orphans than siblings really.
@@Lonelyeco I don't think they are biological but if they were adopted and raised as siblings (like Allison and Luther) it would without a doubt be incest
So Lila and Diego then? 😂
@@marad786 the origin of their existence is still unknown. So we can't be certain whether or not they are biological. I can't give a real answer until more information comes to light. But at least they were raised together.
We can all agree this season was a freaking emotional rollercoaster😩😩😩
That we all rode with no regrets😌
The fact that I’ve been waiting for this video 😭 I watched the whole season in 2 days so that when you posted it I could watch immediately
Diego not Vanya is the real cause if their problems when the go into the past. He is trying to change the timeline from day one practically and this was bound to cause ripple effects that involved the other siblings and the different future.
The other siblings did Diego dirty when they were with reggie damn
he carries all his family members on his back... and every season
I felt so bad for him, but it's actually pretty realistic as far as what happens in trauma filled families with an abusive parent. People like to imagine siblings sticking up for each other, but it's like a habit to say nothing when you have been indoctrinated to never speak back to that parent.
i relate to diego and that scene had me like 😟👀🥲
Best Show on Netflix so far and its going to get better
I felt like the second season was better as it fixed many of the first seasons flaws. The pace was much better with the shorter episodes. Also, there were not as many plot holes as the first season had
1st season had plot holes because of the time traveling and messing with timelines by The Handler.
That’s so cool
This season is so much better than S1 (and the first season was good as hell too)
I felt the same way!! I just loved it so much more and s1 was great!!
Diego's back must be hurting FROM CARRYING THIS WHOLE SEASON 🗣️🗣️🗣️
nah five did too
Agree. Diego and Five CARRIED this
No. That’s 5.
good job copying what he said in the video and changing it to diego's name idiot

The kid that plays Five is extremely talented
13:19 I WAS LITERALLY THINKING THAT WHILE WATCHING IT LIKE SHE JUST FORGET HE STOPPED HER FROM SEEING HER CHILD.
I really enjoyed this season! You can really see the character development in all of them, they've become more united than they were in Season 1, like they actually care bout each other.
18:27 anyone else noticed the nod to kate walsh's private practice show???
Of course I do
The sountrack it so amazing that its what makes the serie so frikin perfect
0:21 A little Aidan Cameo😂
😂😂 lauv
He’s so cute!
"She was rumored to have no powers"
I see what you did there
the way u say Klaus’s name like “Claus” as if hes Santa kills me xD
i died when he said: *i refuse to believe that this man has the power of a true love’s kiss*
Was hoping LME to cover it but not this soon. GG mate.
I love the line "Vanya, who was rumored to have no powers" because Allison literally rumored her to make her think she was ordinary and didn't have powers
I SWEAR TO GOD, if Netflix ruins season 3 like on my block season 3 and 13 reason why season 3 I will hate Netflix for the rest of my life.
OMB season 3 was good and much better than season 2
Simone Oliver how bro
Jazmin Cookies by a group 15 year olds dude 😤😤😤
The only good part about season 2 was Ruby’s PTSD
13 Reasons why was ruined as soon as it was produced
Could rumor make someone immune to her powers by using her powers? Like" I heard a rumor my powers dont work on you ".
Or would it not work because she rumored it to not work, or does that technically mean it did work?? Lol
It seems as if it works whilst she is there, so the rumour isn’t permanent, it stops eventually. You can tell when Lila uses it on her
@@missflyangel1 But is that a statement on Allison or lilas? I say that because rumors power on herself ends when Lila start using the power of another sibling in the house.. In season one she makes Vanya forget about her powers and they were not in touch for the 16 years after they separate. Unless I'm missing something.
John Long very true
Who’s rumor?
6:19 No Lube Luther...please tell me I heard that wrong 😂
Nah you right.
They should do a Christmas episode where they share stories to five about enemies he missed and it can be like a way to introduce the comic villains who are in the hotel and one where they do the Murder Magician free comic special.
“But Sissy starts to keep he up at night😏” 😂😂😂😂😂
I loved this season even more than season 1 and they truly flipped my perspective of the characters I really liked Diego in season 1 but he became sorta mid tier for me and Alison I hated but she was likeable this time around. Klaus and Number 5 amazing faves but Luther sadly is last place for me oh the irony. Vanya and Ben also moved up some points. It so well done I truly enjoy all the characters even Elliot and the Handler
Five is just that guy who Carries the squad in Warzone
I wonder if we will see the alternate version of them and see they personalities if they had actual parents and how they handle there powers it probably wont tho scince they where born all over the world
Re: Five time traveling and ripples/effects, I would forgive his lack of care and real knowledge about branching off timelines because his job at the Commission is *maintaining* the timeline and he never really deals with it otherwise.
“So considering we have seven siblings, I figured we’d cover them in order just to keep everything on track… so, starting with Number 5.”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I dont think Rob would want to do a spin off because he doesnt want to be pidgin holed. Or at least thats why he left misfits. Idk if thats still his stance.
What does pigeon holed mean?
Will when you put someone or something into a particular category (eg. a singer writes a pop song and it get really big and then their classified as a pop star, when they could have wanted to be a country singer idk)
@@kaseywilson6486 cheers mate
I’m so glad I started this series. I binged both seasons in 2 days and I reallyyy enjoyed season 2. Season 1 was a little slow for my taste and it always builds the characters so Season 2 was great. Number 5 and Klaus are definitely the top actors in the series imo
6:40 “sweetie it’s still incest” I AM WHEEZING LMAOOO I’ve never seen that video before 😂😂
