My first speedrun of V.A Proxy Patreon Demo. Pretty solid all around for the movement tech I have found. I missed the timer end by about 2 seconds (Retimed to 9:09.xx). Pretty happy with S-104 boss fight. Improvement can be made in the 104 fight. Sloppy aerial attacks led to roughly an 8s loss due to adding an additional cycle to the fight. Possible sub 9:00 in the current state if played perfect.
Speedrun used some small optimizations I found that I haven't seen yet like the edgebug to cancel the fall animation at the start and the infinite air dash. Shoutout to cues for the deathwarp find I used from their speedrun ( • First V.A Proxy Speedr... )

Do you know why the game lacks so many sound effects? Is it just the way you made the video or is that how the build of the game is? Thanks.
Just because this is a very very early build uploaded to Patreon. Steam demo should be up soon that fixes a lot of issues and has proper sound.

how to glide on the sword like you?
Explain your movement tech
Just really basic stuff like landing on the very edge of something while falling in order to cancel out the landing animation, and gliding and dashing right after to get infinite air dashes. I'm looking for some new stuff to make the game faster, but with the steam version coming out soon it might be worth it to just wait for that.
Im actually not sure if the infinite air dash is faster than other methods like infinite jumping. Its definitely slower than enemy surfing, but until we can find a way to break out from the enemy faster Im not sure how viable it is.
