Really nice instruction of how to disassemble down to rubber detail and keep up with the order of screws involved and consequently how to assemble when done. I'm sure the method of treating the tired rubber part works as well but in my case I bought some new spare ones. Anyhow, this is the best instruction of how to deal with the task to replace them. Very good Sir :)

I've seen a few different fixes for this. Roland can't seem to solve the issue years and years later. I wonder if making the sensor mount just a little higher would solve the issue.

No necesary to cut the rubber, mix 200 ml oil with 3, 4 ml of alcohol, put the rubberinto the mix in a botle during 30 40 min with some of hot aplied to the mix and put over a radiator temperature or some hot and the rubber recover the flexibility anothe time

It is impossible to open this pedal without breaking the plastic pin that holds the trigger sleeve. The engineer who did this will burn the eternal fire. So there are these weird bolts and nuts to the original there. To fix this designer's mistake. I broke my two pedals for that.

The heat from a hair dryer resolves more easily, causing the molecules to return to their natural state and the rubber will be flexible again, without damaging the integrity of the piece.
