The story said they flipped the safety switch... in their glock 17... the gun famous for not having an external safety switch... I love these stories but that kinda broke my immersion, love your reading though!

Yay, Jared! My friend has a house ghost like Jared who lets her know when unwanted visitors show up by knocking on the wall of the room she's in. I've "met" him and he's VERY protective of her family. They do have their favorites.
In my small town the kids are very bad for teasing outside dogs on leash or cages. They'll thrown rock, snow, ice and other stuff. One day I happen to catch them in the act and rip them a new one. Told them that one day when that dog gets loose and goes after them what then? It'll remember them from their smell. They won't be laughing then. That dog was a sweetheart. He loved butt scritches and often did get loose and say hi to my sister and I. Never saw the kids teasing him again.
Just a point on Glocks, they do not have a manual safety. They have a trigger safety that is disengaged as you depress the trigger to fire. Therefore the story where the guy heard the safety click off on his squad mates Glock17 does not ring true...

What? What kind of summer camp thing gives glocks to teenagers? Also glocks don’t have manual safeties that you can click off. That’s one of the things those pistols are specifically known for. Did I miss a line of dialogue that said they were modified or something?

Story of cadets in the woods: 1) never heard of teen cadets being issued pistols.... 2) even active military would not have live ammo on that sort of exercise... 3) Glocks don't HAVE safety switches to click off! The only safety is built into the trigger. Author needs to brush up on actual procedures and learn about firearms if he/she is going to use specific models.
Honestly I don’t know if story Five is true or not but I will say this… what we do in life to other’s, yes including innocent helpless animals… Will come back to us. When you plant a seed’s it will come back in a harvest… It is important to plant seed’s of goodness so we reap goodness in return. Never forget… you may be sorry, ask for forgiveness and change your ways, which is great. But remember you will go through a time of reaping the last harvest of “ bad you planted.” Continue to plant good seed so the good seed take’s over the bad seed.”
