Love mine!! Owned 3 Kenmore sets, 1st two lasted 14+ years!
As soon as the warranty run out my machine stopped working! It's okay it never washed my clothes right anyways ✅️
I have this washer and it doesn't clean the clothes very well. However, I did notice that the washer drum in the video rotates more than mine does. I'll have to check if the belt needs to be replaced.
Also make sure to use the deep fill option. That puts more water in the tank to help keep the clothes more wet.

I have had this washer dryer set for 5 years and haven't had any problems. I don't feel that the clothes come out as clean as my older washer which had the agitator. I understand that we need to save on water, but these high efficiency washer are costing me more money and using more water. Instead of doing One load of laundry, i have to do anywhere from 2 -4 small loads to get the cloths semi clean. The washer only fills the tub with about 4 to 6 gallons of water, there are time that some of the clothes don't even get wet. I have to add a couple of buckets of water to just bring the water line to the top of the clothes just to get them clean. These are nice machine and would work much better even if they would program the water level to be like the small load setting on older machines. The dryer take just as long as my older dryer.
How do you clean the air filter on them?. Mine always says AF on it I remove lent from the lent thing all the time but still says it.

My machine went kaput and my dryer needed costly repairs and while it works I get the dreaded AF message even though everything is clear. The warranty company replaced a couple things but I believe it's the motor. Now they will only give me $340 to replace it. It was great while it lasted.

I have the washer and I am having trouble with the agitator
@@wyominggirl2835 The agitator keeps breaking and the spin cycle is loud, it sounds like a plane taking flight. I got it in 2011 ...I like it, but I sometimes feel like socks don't clean as well as needed . Fun fact my husband fixes the agitator with plumping tape...

Just purchased this washer from a friend. When I turn the dial to select settings the washer will not choose other options and I get a deep sounding noise indicating it isn't working. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?
I purchased both of these products a few months back and I feel like this is the worse appliance purchase ever! My clothes just never seem clean to me. Not to mention I'm a nurse and is anal about washing my uniforms!! The washer and dryer I had before this purchase I had for 13 years and I can honestly say I wish I would have kept them instead of purchasing this crap!
Omg since day 1 ive HATED this washer!! my clothes come out dirtier than they go in!! i just found out that the bleach trap just pours directly onto the floor. I thought i was going crazy because this product is such a piece of shit!
It’s because the pressure on the water , this washer suppose to clean while splashing water drops on the clothes , but if it doesn’t have a good water feeder is where the problem is , I think , idk , recently I’m having a problem with one , it doesn’t drain, , a drn code appears , but I can’t get it to drain , I think is the drain pump.
My friend has this exact washer ITS HORRIBLE WHENEVER I DO LAUNDRY THERE IT ALWAYS ADDS LIKE THIRTY FIVE MINUTES LIKE I WOULD START IT I WOULD LOOK IT SAYS 10 MINS AND I COME BACK FIVE MINUTES LATER IT SAYS 30 MINUTES

When your clean washer light goes on what do you do ? Mine lights up once ina while when i catch it .. Idk what to do .. I have the the washer

How do you use the clean washer cycle on the washer?
I believe it is the same as doing a load of laundry only with it empty. So use your soap and hit the clean button. My husband always did it and we do not have the set anymore.

@@wyominggirl2835 I haven’t said peep to my hubs😬 as they were one of my first gifts from him. Very, very nice size diamonds, but MORE sentimental. I wore them EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last 8 years.
Idk how the machine works for them to fit under that plate, but I’M removing it to check today & praying I find them!!

Has interior light?
There is a light in the dryer but not the washer.
The lock on the lid , is not well design, since it gets wet and it malfunction, the replacement of this lock is very expensive and Kenmore is not what it used to be. Never will purchase again
Did your washer start leaking yet?
@@checkthisoutveganlife1878 be prepared if used frequently. We do 4+ loads a week and the pump works but leaks

It’s over $600 for repair and about $200 more to replace other stuff that’s in need to prevent more problems… I can’t believe I only got 5 years use. Goodbye kennore.

The absolute worst washer ever!!! Never enough water and very weak. Going back to the old fashioned ones.
You often have to use prewash and deep fill for clothes to get clean

@@wyominggirl2835 you need the tall agitator to flip the clothes over to get a good wash. Technically yes the water washes the clothes, but the impeller isn't enough to flip the clothes over. It's just beating the clothes with water, in the same spot.
Your comment on a deep fill is a great comment. You literally have to use deep fill on any washer these days with everything being "efficient".

At fist mine didn't get clothes clean. Have to use prewash and deep fill. Can't use deep fill on all setting.
This is not the 6.3 cubic ft plus this washer is junk
Wyoming can not wash large loads the washplate I’d not powerful enough even though the tall agitators take some room in the middle it makes the washer able to wash larger loads because the agitator in the middle is pulling it down

Worst washer ever. Do not get this. It leaves your clothes soapy because the so called "agitator" isn't powerful enough to rotate your clothing
Do you use the extra fill option? It allows more water to be used. We used that and never had a problem with too much soap. Also maybe you are using too much soap. Many of the detergents are now more concentrated and requires less to be used. Worth looking into if you are stuck with the set. We no longer have ours because my mother in law wanted it and the place we moved to had a set. I do miss it compared to what we have now!
Kenmore elite clothes washers are crap.I have had to replace numerous parts.
