Rockman CX is an extensive ROM hack of Mega Man 2 that adds gameplay mechanics borrowed from the Mega Man X series and puts you in the shoes and point of view of a different protagonist. You play as Mega Man CX, an evil clone of Mega Man that may or may not have been created by Dr. Wily. Your goal is to take down Dr. Light and all of his Robot Masters, including Mega Man, and stop them from stopping Dr. Wily. There are also lots of references to other video games and even TV shows such as Kamen Rider. See if you can list them all!
In this run, CUI ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/CUI ) defeats Dr. Light and lets Dr. Wily conquer the world in record time. - เกม

It can deal damage on each frame if you time it perfectly or it has someway to manipulate it on TAS, like canceling the animation or something else.

@@solarflare9078 Have you even played this? Rockman CX is heavily flawed and only appeals to a very specific kind of person. It requires a lot of trial and error while not even being all that great. I still enjoy it more than the majority of hacks of course but Its not a quality gaming experience. The trolling and questionable design almost reaches the level of Mega Man X6, where the player needs to outcheese the game rather than outplay it.
I’m so confused. Why is Dr. Light the enemy? He’s the good guy. This game seems so “all over the place”. Not like the older 8-bit titles at all. Feels like a copy and paste title to me.😕
That's because "Gray Man" is a bot created by Dr Wily. We're fighting for him, not against him. It'd only make sense for Light to be the antagonist in this scenario.
This is literally a rom hack
It's a story about an evil clone of Mega Man fighting against Dr. Light and at no point does it contradict that, so it certainly isn't "all over the place." Also, given how much work would obviously need to have been done on all the custom sprites and levels, as well as the credits showing all the people who worked on this hack, it _absolutely_ isn't a "copy and paste" job and I question if you even know what that means.
