@NicoleHikesalot I told George I was going to attempt to film but didn't think I'd get enough. I was shocked at how much I could get. I kept running into trees trying to film flowers and stuff.

@IceBearHalfwayPoint lol I couldn't believe he lost a shoe. He fits right in with the clumsy bunch! I was very thankful he didn't hurt his foot. Thankfully we never had to carry our kayaks any. Great water levels!
Nice first time ! Better to go short and enjoy than to go for along trip and end up hating it. It’s so nice to spend an afternoon on the river, it always somehow seems like you’re miles away from civilization. Good job !
@michaelpetersonbackpacking6077 That was exactly what we said. We felt great and wanted to do more. But there was no in-between. So rather end on a good note! We are looking forward to doing more of it!
Looked like a great first time river experience! Our rivers are so low here in West Virginia that everyone seems to spend more time dragging their kayaks than actually floating in them ... Look forward to the next adventure Tonya!

Awesome! Looks like you guys had a nice calm river and great weather for your first trip! It's definitely addictive! Also, if George strapped a waterproof bag or something between his legs to counter balance some weight, he'd have an easier time in the rapids! 👍

I yakked the Kankakee last weekend, i spooked a bunch of penguins going full piranha on a dead wooly. Then some crocagators were attacking my yak untill a couple of dolphins chased them away😮. I love great river adventures and i never let the truth get in the way of a good story. Have fun, stay yakkin, yippie kayak yay!!!
