Its amazing how the web brings you exactly what you are looking for? I searched and searched for an answer for whats the difference between an assignment and materials. What would you use the materials option for? Voila! You explain it. Great video and it came up as a suggested video to watch. Love this presenters videos, so natural, with smooth transitions and quick to watch. Man, wish this guy taught in Chicago 😆 great instructional presence. 💘
I create a copy of a document in GC for each of my students to work on. Most of tham are able to edit the document, but sometimes some of the students are only able to view it. Why is that?
WHAT?! I can reuse and save drafts..?! HOw? Is it just a file I have to save in the Drive separately, or is there another function I am not sure about?
The guardian feature has been kinda worthless if the classrooms are locked to the domain and parents dont have email adresses. This makes it so parents cant be added at all. It's sooo frustrating since it is quite a good feature that I would like to use.
Correct, your IT admin can disable the guardian feature. Parents do not need a Google account in the school district to receive the guardian summary. Any email will work.

I really want parents to be able to follow along since I have kids in middle school. I hope that I can convince the school district to turn it on though. Ill be crossing my fingers that I can convince them in August. BIG THANKS!

Yes. Parents do not need a domain email in order to use this feature. Just ask your IT admin to turn it on.
