Also i think i`m first person to have these towers in Thailand :). I hope it will help others to make a proper decision.

What is the JTR UFL 6000 is this Jeff's new top secret weapon ?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Jeff's speakers are all secret weapons :). According to my knowledge the ULF6000 is what people call ULF4000 with 240V amplifier. I think that transition from 110V to 240V gives the possible output of 6000W instead of 4000 - but will be good to confirm with the source :)

I use to have that JBL set up💪🏽 the. Upgraded to klipsch also due to youthman 💪🏽💪🏽
The JBL's were left by the former owner of the house - was a nice surprise for me how good they performed with Yamaha. Probably when the full JTR setup arrive - i will move them to gym :)

I've listened to those same JTR speakers and know EXACTLY what you're talking about. One thing I would highly recommend is that you sell your SVS subs and replace them with JTR subs. They will destroy SVS and I know that SVS makes good subs.
Ron i ordered Cap 6000ULF with my surrounds finally - so now have to wait ca. 3 months for it.

:) Don't worry - my cinema is very well soundproofed and also no neighbors nearby so all the sound stays in the room :). Thank you very much! Now its upgraded with Captivator 6000ULF and 8x 110HT atmos/surrounds so its even better! If i find some free time i will make new video with reviews of upgrades.

Even though i love the SVS PB-16 and i nearfield position it does an amazing massage :) i ordered Cap 6000ULF alrerady - so in 3-4 months it will replace / play with SVS together. Have an amazin day!

Its what people call the 240V version - have to pay extra for it and i think it has 6000W amplifier

Great stuffs...how much did you pay for shipping and taxes? I too am planning to order but having second thoughts coz the import duties & taxes in my country is 30% of the value.
In Thailand its 10% customs duty + 7% VAT. The shipping directly from USA door-to-door was 3600USD for 3x215RT and ca 3000 USD for 8x110HT and CAP6000ULF. So count like 10USD per kg :)

I just imagined powering these speakers with my very old abandoned VSX-330 🤣
Actually i tried to hook them directly to my Yamaha A3080 and its possible to use it. Just it will go hot - as they are 4 ohms and the AVR is not built to run 4 ohm loads and also quite fast distort/clip the sound. But can do :)

@@kingscinema3873 I would love to order some. Buying a new home in the next 6 months, so just waiting to see how that ends up first. Hoping to find one with a dedicated room, but I’m sure a 212RT setup would work nicely in a living room area as well. We’ll see what happens
Ok i keep my fingers crossed for you! The dedicated room is awesome - for me making the walls/ceiling wrapped in black velvet and putting black carpet improved the immersion feeling a lot - you only see a movie and nothing else, when watching - hard to make in living room :) - also the sound treatment might be problematic, so i hope you can find one with some free room. Hello again, what acoustic panels did you place behind your JTR 215’s in this video. I’m still waiting on my JTR 215’s and RS2’s to come, they were delayed due to damage to two of the 215’s cabinets 😢

My Yamaha + infinity system brought the ceiling down years ago . No joke.
I can relate to that :). I have to throw out my gypsum/steel constructed ceiling as my SVS Pb-16 ultra is making it all rattle. Before JTR cap 6000ULF arrive have to get rid of it :)

Are you using surround sound speakers now, and if yes what brand and model? I am considering to get the 212's for my LCR and want to how this integrates with other surrounds.
Thanks! Yes, I`m using now 7.1.4 setup. My surrounds: JBL E60 Northridge, Quad 12L as back surround, Atmos: JBL E10, Boston Voyager 50. Each pair from different manufacturer and type :). But it was just temporary setup to see how atmos will play (and stayed here for now). I'm waiting for 8xJTR 110HT/SL to replace them. For now sonically - even though each one is completely different speaker, with Yamaha YPAO correction its quite ok. The biggest problem is lack of dynamic range and loudness :) - they are just not capable of levels same as front stage :) - but for sure it is better than with JBLs in the front. So i think 212 for LCR for you will be very good choice - lots of people in JTR family use them and are very satisfied!

@@kingscinema3873 4 Jtr Growlers, 6 Orbit Shifters, 4 Triple 12’s up until last year. Now I just have 4 Captivator 218’s and 2 Noesis 2TX tops. I’m on the pro-audio side.
Nice - Jeff found a great way to build his speakers. Take the strength, SPL, durability from Pro-Audio, add the top-quality to it and here we have them!

True :). BTW Awesome movie - it was still before CGI took over everything - so they made lots of effort to make all the fights and special effects look realistic. Didn't watch it for long time - but its 10x better than any later vampire movies.

Yamaha is great - i have now 4 AVRs in my home (2x3080 and 2 ca 20-year old ones) i had also before always Yamahas and never any problem with them. When i read how many problems people have now with other brands i'm happy i always went with Yammies.
@@kingscinema3873 The new RX-V6A looks interesting to me, and just like mine it can also use external amp's, I might get that soon...Oh and another new feature is that it can be updated to add functionality later as it ages.

Hi - i just use the cheap acoustic foam for now. I plan to change it for the memory foam (after Gene's from audioholics advice). I dont feel at all with having rockwool fibers in my room :)

Yes - unfortunately my room has the shape so my front stage does not work good with bass in my MLP. Also now with Captivator 6000ulf i have nice sub-sonic 10hz room shaking :)

Tim money is not enough to be happy. Its needed for decent life (as its hard to be happy when you dont have where to live/food etc.) but its not enough. I was born in 1983 in Poland (which was practically a part of the soviet union at that time), living in the country under USSR was a communist shithole with no opportunities, no food on shelves and no hope - fortunately in 1989 we kicked them away. I then worked hard all my life - started first company when i was 18, and then created in total 15 businesses in 20 years until today. But i can tell you - it did not matter if i had nothing, i was on minus, or was having millions - i could be happy always because i learned to appreciate life. And this is the key - to appreciate everything you have - even i its not a lot - you can always focus on beauty of nature, on huge opportunities as we have in our times, kind people around you, family, friends and then build up slowly on that base. Did you test the Paradigm SUB2 in your room before purchasing the JTR? (supposedly the best subwoofer in the world, still), Goes down to 7Hz(much lower than JTR :) ) , no bass reflex, at 10Hz it has 112dB, and weighs about 107Kg, but is smaller than S2 and 9000W Peak, 4500W RMS. It's much stronger subwoofers than this JTRs :) Test it and make video about :D
I live in a tropical island so i have basically no option to test anything here other than my system :). Seems like the Paradigm SUB2 is much weaker than JTR - www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-reviews/paradigm-sig-sub-2-1/paradigm-sig-sub-2-analysis vs data-bass.com/#/systems/5c1c0617eae7a300040baca0?_k=ycfpzn - have to look at the open space 3rd party measurements - much different from paradigm website which states 112db at 10HZ (as the state in-room measurement), whereas audioholics measured it at 97db at 10HZ, compared to JTR's 108db at 10HZ. Paradigm also measures ca. 120db at 60Hz, compared to 128db at 60Hz of JTR. So would need 3 paradigms to get to JTR output. Paradigm is also 2x more expensive. So to get same output i would need to pay 6x more money for paradigm :). For sure Paradigm is a good sub also, but cannot be compared to JTR violence :)

Haha with such SPL actually it might be painful :). I see 105db in my room is already max level to not get tired when watching movies.

Seem it has same ESS 9026PRO DAC as my Yamaha - thanks for recommendation - i plan in the future to switch to some higher class processor - i love Yamahas, would like them to make new model :)

By the way, are you using the Yamaha aventage A3080 for music listening and for movies or what do you use for music listening?
You said the imaging is superb so I’m curious if that great imaging comes from the Yamaha AVR. (I know you’re using a separate amplifier for the speakers because they’re huge but ‘the brain’ is still the AVR, am I right?) If you’re using the Yamaha AVR for music, which preset do you use? Or do you just push the straight button and don’t do anything to the sound? It would be nice if you could tell me ❤️ much love from Belgium!
Hi Petru! I use A3080 for everything (I even have one more for living room/terrace and plan to add 2 more for my bedroom and gyms). I think partially the imaging comes from Yamaha - if you consider the AI mode, which activates all the speakers (even for stereo music). This AI works amazing and sound really envelops you. In stereo i would give 100% for JTRs - with good tracks the instruments are located easily in the front/rear and left/right part of the room, also vocals are dead center. For me the best is AI mode which uses the JTR's imaging and A3080 processing for 7.1.4 channels.
I've always wanted JTRs, but those ones are so big I'm not sure they'd fit in my theater. Maybe my next house/theater...
There are 212 and 210 models which are much smaller but have the same mid/high speaker. So as you want them for theater, crossed and bass managed they should sound similarly. Check the JTR's website.
