Developed alongside the seven-seater NIssan Pathfinder SUV the recently facelifted Nissan Navara is a tough vehicle that has a large load bay, four seats plus serious off road capability, allowing it to be used as a large family car or trusty workhorse. Strong diesel engines suit the big Navara both in 2.5-litre, 190bhp and 3.0-litre, 230bhp variants, providing lusty performance and plenty of low down grunt. The performance comes at a price however, as even the most efficient model struggles to return more than 30mpg and are quite noisy. Offered in Acenta King Cab spec with small rear-hinged doors and a rear bench or Tekna and Outlaw Double Cab format with full-size, foor-door, four-seat layout, the Navara is very practical and is well made. The four-wheel-drive system includes a low-range set of gear ratios for serious mud-plugging and when more economical progress is preferred the Navara can also run in two-wheel-drive mode.

I don't work on a construction site...I just want a car like this for the fun of it!
Did you ever invest in one ?
i had navara 2006 for 7 years its great pickup truck and it used 32m/g only 1 down side i found was 4x4 mode but it was in 2006 model hope new models are better, love this truck
good job nissan
yes you are correct, I forgot about that show, but she should be on TV, knows her stuff and is pleasant to boot!
After Owning a 2014 Plated STX 550 since March 2014, and now 7,000Kms; I can't fault it, mine anyway. After the first off-road adventure I had fallen in LOVE. This is the 2.2 or 2.3 Family car of 2014 here in North Queensland, Australia anyway. PS. I have yet to need the electronic heated front seats, lol, never get's cold enough. If on a dirt track or the open highway this vehicle is a real joy to drive, even let the wife drive it sometimes! So reliable, great 615km tank range and plenty of room in the tray for almost anything, and the movable tie-downs with 5 rails to choose from is a dream for securing any load. Recommend the Soft Torn cover, only because it can be fully removed easy and folds down making it easy to open up the tray if needed for them big objects. Even on hot days, the Ute's cab cools quickly to the temperature you have set for the cab. Nissan Dealer was helpful.
In America we just lost our last "small" truck the Ranger, if anyone enters this market with a small truck, they will do very well, lot of folks don't need a full size gas guzzler to make deliveries or clean pools!
"...for when it gets really tough" *drives down muddy lane*
Thaks for the review.
love her accent
how she says "here here and here" I go crazy
Good truck I’ve had one for a few years there definitely good for work
Any helpful negatives ?
I'm looking at them now and a friend of mine has one, they do tick a lot of boxes but still keep reading some horror stories that make me nervous
Depends how you treat it. I’ve always services mine.
Very well presented.
Beautiful video .like it.
The Interactive Transcript video feature is pretty hilarious. :P
80% of the comments talking about the girl being hot 😂
20% tellinh her thats not off road 😂
I am a simple man, I see a beautiful woman I click
Gay
me too
It's a facelift, it just has a new bumper and grille (apparently). We've had these for years in the UK.
you helped me buy this truck thank you
2:29 that's some really tough offroading there..
They are ok off road but I wouldn’t say great , iv had a few Nevaras as work cars , and at the same time iv had a Land Rover td5 130 and a p38 Range Rover , this week I went to my local beach in wilbinga north of Perth Western Australia , even tho my navara has a 2 inch lift kit and bigger wheels , it struggled on super low tyre pressure of 10psi , the areas of steep boggy sand that the 130 and p38 walked up the navara needed multiple runs at speed to reach , I think a full coil spring or air suspension due to better wheel articulation is the total difference
so this ute is perfect? no negative about it?
She has improved tremendously since those earlier reviews.
I love Rebecca, she improved her reviews in every way!
Somebody I know has the locking cover for the tray, and it doesn't actually seal. Dust and mud gets in there, and clogs the lifting mechanism somewhat. I wouldn't mind the new 550Nm Diesels they have, though.
Ya I love when she says, and here, here, here. Or its got good spec, and forwards. Translation for you Yanks and fellow Hosers, specifications and forward. Good thing they air Coronation Street and East Enders here in Canada otherwise I would have a hard time with half of what she says like boot, lori, bonnet, fortnight, bobby, old beal etc. etc. I love it.
love their videos very informative
Why is she so rough & quick with demonstrating everything? Opening slam closing stuff
my thoughts exactly
"It sounds like a truck" quite event at the end
Wow I didn´t know that you can switch from 2wd or 4hi to 4lo whitout stoping the truck.
we need a episode of the VW AMAROk !
She can review my car anytime 😉 great review thanks.
The greatest pickup ever
NIssan Navara is Frontier? or they just called it in different country?
Came for the car review and totally fell in love with her.. Maaan... I love that british accent too
Not a bad pick up truck, but I know it performance in real off roading is not better than what you can get from an L200, a Hilux, Amarok or D-Max.
BTW, I really love to see Rebecca doing the reviews.
Is that a 3 litre diesel.
In Brazil, it is called Nissan Frontier.
Yup :D i respect that !
Navara is such an awesome name. Think I'm gonna name my daughter that.
My brother in law did that! (Although it is spelled Nevarra, it sounds the same)
And did you ?
Nirvana
Anyone else notice the gear stick move when she started the engine?
Please do an Amarok review!!!
is this 2.5 or 3.0
right here in Canada it's called the Frontier
what was better of road - this or the toyota ?
My 2010 Nissan truck extended cab isn't meant to go fast around the corners, especially a 4X4! I fit my thin rope for my cargo tie down in that small storage compartment above the glove compartment, not a water bottle. LOL Trucks are for hauling items and occasional passengers. If you want to have fun around the corners in a sports performance truck, try a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner.
Doesn't Toyota still sell the tacoma? The single cab versions are pretty small.
suv ?
please review the new Ford Ranger as well!
Is this the D40?
You can't just switch while driving from 4lo to 2wd. You have to stop first. Press the clutch in, put it in neutral and than switch from 4lo to 4wd to 2wd. This might be different in this new navara but in my dad his navara which is a bit older this is the way to do it. I don't see any reason why it might be different though..
it is all electronic now, you can do i when you want, also if you go over 40km/h the central diff it will anutomatic unlock so you don't tear it to pieces
Do you know how much we pay for fuel?
Wonderful
Driving a stick is a pain. I have to slightly lean forwards to change gear.
Hey guys, its difficult to make these video's. I think she's doing a great job.
Why do you believe that apostrophes play a part in plurals?
Best review so far.
Why was it raining in the car at 1:25??? special feature??
Labib's Official Science Page Come on don't be stupid, obviously it was the rain outside the car
A UK gallon is approx 4.54 litres, a US gallon in 3.78 litres, so it'll be around the 25 US MPG? but still more than those big gas guzzlers, hope this helps
Somebody I knew had their Navara's engine blow up. Not something you expected from a 6-month of machine.
That was offroad? Haha a joke
magicbeekeeper green lane
Nissan seems to be more intreseted in North America with this pickup, cause here, especialy in the U.S. and Canada, its called the Nissan Frontier, we get a more luxurious like interrior, a Pro-4X model which is the highest-end midsize sports pickup, and even Suzuki offers thier own version exclusively for the United States and Canadian markets.
Nice plate👌
N4VRA
You may be right about all these and about the fact that Renault may be responsible for the oil consumption, unless that happens due to the turbine, in which case they are not. Be aware of the fact that Renault doesn't build none of the transmission (Nissan), radiator, engine mounts, alternator and A/C. They have suppliers who build all these parts for them. They don't actually do it.Don't know about the timing chain though. I'm not trying to take Renault's side by any means, i'm just saying.
The only problem with the Navara is the back. There is a gap between the door and luggage department so if you're hauling rocks or wood they will get stuck in there.
I also got the navara 2013 D40 bought it brandnew bij the nissan dealer, but i still get the old grill and bumper design, can anbody explain it to me?
How is it now. Did you have many mechanical problems.
I want to see the Volkswagen Amarok!:)
I wish here in America that manual transmissions were more widely available. It's becoming a chore anymore to find a manual transmission at all, even in sports cars. That same model in the US probably would not be available in a 5-speed. Too bad...maybe I'll move to the UK.
David Steel Does laziness also prevent you from driving to the dentist to fix your teeth?
i agree with david.. but DANG! that comeback!
finally! a pick up truck!
The only problem I have with the Navara is how loud they all seem to be, if you've ever been up close to a bus on a really hot day then you'll be familiar with the loud hoovering sound of the cooling fans running, which is something which seems to happen in the Navara all the time, which is just unnecessary.
Not sure what you're talking about here...mine idles as quiet as a petrol when she is all warmed up..
I can really tell I'm American when she talks about only getting 30 mpg in this SUV with a massive storage space in the back.
30 kilometers idiot
She literally said mpg in a British accent bud. They are the reason America uses units like miles and gallons and they still use the units where they've been grandfathered in to the best of my knowledge.
Lmao "you can change the gear system to 4x4 for when it gets tough" slowly drives along dirt road
Is that a stick shift that nice i want that... I hate Automatic lol
Wonder how much the reg plate is worth...
Did anyone notice the number plate saying navara
If she were to join Top Gear, the ratings would be out of this world!
after 1:58 what happen to the sound ?
I am in Cambodia I want to buy would you recommend me
lol I love this Girl!!! Im in love!!!
Please make a revew of Amarock.........
review the new 2012 ford ranger pleaseeee !!! the wildtrak 3.2 five cylinder.
4:23 - 2nd or 3rd gear start?
Giorgos Panas I think you are right
From the engine sound
I could care less about the car, but I watched the video anyway. That's saying a lot. Thank you Rebecca.
What's a commaarcial vehicle??
what a beauty
This fits in you...
It's huge compared to what it used to be, no more 4 cyl engines either!
Suv? Off-road? Where?
Unless you go for the 3.0 litre version... Certainly dearer, but the difference is.. Let me see.. Like difference between the Royal family, and "The Royale Family"
This is more for commercial propose, but if you want to take your whole family in there better choice is the Nissan Pathfinder
يا لبى يا نافارا
Explain, i don't understand, what is an Ignoramus?
I thought they had crankshaft problems
How much?
Do like the videos. Really like look of Navarra. Could you please do review on Pathfinder. Know its based on Navarra platform, but expect it to handle and sound different
Why can't you spell Navara correctly when it's in the title?
Linda camioneta
I expected to see glove box #3
I Want Rebecca to review a hilux, a dmax or any pickups something..
F150 and Ram aren't available in the UK and those are full size, the Navaro is mid size, not same class; Shogun, Amarok...
haha " 4wd for when it gets really tough " then shows here on a lil damp flat dirt road hahaha sweetheart thats not 4wd'n
+MotoNinja I know right ;D
It’s sounds like a lorry or a bus, because it’s a bloody diesel! If she closes the sunroof she’d block out 80% of the road noise🤣
Wot is it with u and building sites
Had my 12 mths paid 15k 34000 0n clock now done 44000.
Work done in that time includes rear leaf springs replaced, prop shaft oil seal replaced, front disk and pads, bottom front shocker bushes replaced, cost of £1500
Serving is expensive and returns 25 mile around town
Disappointed with the repair n servicing side it has required in 12 mths.
Bought from a reputable so called nissan dealer.
