Awesome footage ! We would never be able to witness the changes happening to the landscape without people like you ! Thank you so much for doing what you do .

Thank you so much...it's wonderful to know that people, other than myself, are getting something of value from the footage. 😊

Thanks for this stunning effort. It's all relevant to us living in Withernsea too 👍

It looks like the land is almost below sea level. Scary and fascinating. Great video ❤

It really is a crazy bit of coastline...I am interested to see what happens during the highest tides.😮

That central part is not cliff, but an embankment, a high sea could break all the way through to those new defences at Thirtle Bridge.

I intend to film there when there is a very high tide to see the breach in action.

@@timothystravels8492 Biggest tide for a good few years coming up on the next new moon, hope you get some good footage. Lovely stretch of coast with some of the best winter shore cod fishing in the country.

Thank you for your excellent work, I knew since I was at school in the 60's there were 'problems', but now researching, I see once the sea enters the Roos Drain, the new country of Spurn will definitely be created very quickly! Does the local MP know or is the Government burying its head in the sand?

      You're most welcome.
I really don't have a great deal of optimism when it comes to MPs or Government intervention...but, to be fair, I don't know much about anything 🤔
      Constantly evolving and learning.
Hopefully these kind of comparison videos will be of some help, somewhere, sometime.?
      Davey 😊

Back in the mid fifties my Grandad had a bungalow on the Pinders Farm site.pre Sand Le Mere.. I Remember the concrete blocks wh8ch are now on the beach on the top of the cliffs a double set which we used to climb on and jump from one to another no health and safety then used to spend most summers there cliff climbing collecting coal on the High Tide line and my grandad used to put out night lines on the Breakwater and we usually had fresh fish to eat. Good times but the north sea has really taken out a lot of land. I think the track shown ran along the edge of the site and there was a lot of field towards the edge of the cliffs now lingerie hone.

Thanks again for a disturbing video. . Eventually the whole of Holderness is at risk. Nothing can be done to stop the Longshore Drift. Because only caravan parks and small farms are at risk nothing will be done. Enjoy this coastline while you can.
