Katya, you're the first to ever intensify the green shade on TH-cam! I've owned all four Quads for a number of weeks since released early on in Australia and New Zealand. Everyone looks at this Baroque palette, says that it reminds them of Christmas, but haven't a clue how to apply it! I've left comments all over YT warning everyone not to mix the green and red or else they will only muddy. I kept saying that there are two softer Quads, Cristal and Vénitienne and then Baroque and Impériale that were meant ro be worn intensified as the colours reflected jewel-tones. Jewels were the inspiration behind the entire Collection, so why softly blend out the shades meant to reflect emeralds or rubies?
Most bought the softer Quads, but those who bought the others simply destroyed the looks! It was embarrassing to watch. It's a simple understanding of colour that tells you never to mix green and red. You've done a great job here and it's wonderful to see the green finally built up! What I personally do with the sparkling shades in each palette, is to smear them across the lid. Just imagine how that green would look with the sparkling white shining over the top. That Antique Gold looks amazing over the lid by itself and then just use either the red or green to line with. I'd still have to add the white sparkles though. Yesterday, I was wearing Cristal, which has the beautiful blue sparkles and today I'm wearing Vénitienne with the stunning green across the lid. I'm not usually a fan of toppers, but these sprkling shades were meant to be seen. Another way to add to your look is to sweep the gold above the green. Once the white sparkles are across your lid over the green, you'll never believe that this is a look by Chanel. This is such a lovely and special release by Chanel, which is why I bought them all. I couldn't leave a single one behind.
