Love that black tarp with those orange cords. Please continuo with tarp configurations. Have been thinking of using that setup with a lanshan inner tent. Lots of space for cooking and storage
Use them for many years already beside their hammocks, meshtents. Bombproof for sure as i do many long-distance projects months in a row. The 4*4 is to heavy for travel special when wet. 3*3 suits all situations
I've been using a 3x3 and a 2x2. Camo and green. Combine it with a tent inner and a lightweight hammock and the versatility is off the scale. I like the look of the black version, If it wasnt so hot where Im from I'd get one. Good pitch.👍🇦🇺
I use the Aquaquest 4.9 by 4.9 Defender tarp in a similar way , and after many Camp outs , It is absolutly the Best tarp I have ever used , for all year round Camping trips .
DD is a solid 🪨 tarp but I think 🤔 if my eno Superfly had a few more loops, was slightly larger than 8*8 and had a reflective side and was still lighter and less bulky than the DD it would be my go to. Still looking for my one tarp to rule them all.

I love tarp camping, super versatile!
Great tarp. Now you only need to film the rest of the 999 setups ; )
Yeah, I’ll get started ;-)
@@TheMidweekEscapeArtist get a camjam for the ridgeline. Faster setup in bad weather
@@markoruotsalainen5480 got three of those already, love those things!

I couldn’t agree more. 4x4 seems also to be very wind prone. The 3x3 is great, especially if you combine two for flexibility. Thanks for commenting.
Really good setup the 3x3 tarp is my first choice
Yeah it’s a very safe bet for most trips.

One of the best out there for sure!
Love the vids man. I’ve been trying to decide between the DD 3x3 vs Aquaquest 10x10. Do you have any experience with Aquaquest tarps?

The search continues on my end also but I love my DD.
You sound very South African for an Aussie :P
