A real bisexual petrol-head now...Mercedes Benz currently has over 20 current production vehicles and seven of them are SUVs, and this is not counting AMG. I think you're look at the wrong manufacturer.
Why is everyone being so toxic, you don’t have to like it. Why does everything have to be good by you? Think the world revolves around you? Don’t denie it. Some people like it and I don’t blame them, it’s a good looking car and it’s not about feeling special it’s about owning the care you love and like to drive
Nickyhasnolife it seems like everyone's opinions keeps getting more and more extreme after 2013. If this was 2009, most people who don't like SUVs would be like “ehh...not my type” or Ford dropping all of their production cars and be like “I want to know more” and move on.
Personally, I own a 2017 Mercedes AMG GLC RENNTech, but don't really like it as much because it seats me too high. I prefer driving my 2006 E 500 instead.

Very easy to explain. It is all ego. Trying to agrandize yourself with a bigger car. And from the supply side, the market is saturated so they have to think of something new to increase market share.
Because wahmen decide what cars to buy nowadays and they literally want to look down on others.

Why are people so obsessed with SUV's these days, a saloon or hatchback has enough space for four, better handling, performance and mpg, easier to manoeuvre. SUV's have more room for three in the back sitting together, but how often do you travel with fully occupied seats

Nice car, but where the GLB is an almost exact copy of the Xtrail, this GLA seems to have the genes of the Quashqai....( at least the engines are the same and the seating and the weight...)
