The most interesting thing about this song for me is the fact that the “melty” girl asks the other girl if she just had another nightmare, despite the fact that the other girl is clearly dreaming/had fallen asleep - does she consider her real life a nightmare?
The lyrics says ‘ you just had another nightmare didn’t you’ and both ‘was your mama mean to you again’ plus ‘or did your classmates have too many things to say’ so i think that clearly confirms the theory.
Another thing is that at 4:50 you can see there are two sides, the pink which is the Melty land and the blue land which considering is matching the colors of the blue girl, it's real life
The melty girl lives in the dream world, and each time the other girl wakes up she forgets all about the dream world. That's why the lyrics end with something along the lines of "don't forget about me" and "turn to zero" (about the clock changing time). there's actually confirmed lore about this and it connects to a bunch of other songs and you can find it on the harumaki gohan wiki
Yes, it a way to help the girl escape reality in a dream, it pretty like dissociative indentity discorder but it in a dream form, not actually a personality. 2:52 the picture show the fact that look like the girl (blue) is in an abusive family. The question im asking is WHY the lyric trying to show us that the girl will never ever have that dream ever again? I think the blue and the pink girl is the same, The pink girl is trying to actually healing herself, not the blue girl. She's trying to forgive people that hurt her. But the lyric "dont forget me" make me think that this assumption is only like 80% correct to i came up with the second assuption 2nd assuption: i think this make much more sense, the blue girl is in an abusive family and when she sleep she somehow "connect" to another world which just as you guess, the melty land and the pink girl, the one in this land try to heal the blue girl wounds. But the dream sadly it is not forever and it time to them to say goodbye which it make alot of sense about the lyric "Don't forget me" with the second assumption the blue/pink girl are seperate individual while the first assumption, the blue and the pink girl is one. But why the appearance both of the girl is diffrence on the first assuption. well have no idea XD *yes i came up with the second assumption while writing this comment, it's make more sense and less complicated.
Here is my take on the story: From what I've gathered the story is about the friendship between the blue girl and her imaginary friend who's singing, she is bullied and is probably being abused by her parents that's why she made the pink girl up. But as she gets older she probably distances herself from her imaginary friend just because you usually grow out of having imaginary friends. The friend now sings about how she doesn't wanna lose her since she's literally the only friend she has but at the same time she knows she'll be forgotten eventually, either because the girl gets older or maybe even turns her life around and starts having real friends.
i actually like this better than the top interpretation in the original MV. That one's interpretation is just based on spesific things they pick up on without regarding the whole lyric. I believe that this interpretation is based on the whole lyric and MV.
I know this is from 4 years ago, but still, I also have a theory, more closely attached to the MV. Personally I think the story might be more sad than your theory points out. From what I'm seeing, the pink girl looks like a Baku, a Japanese yokai that eats others' nightmares. The blue girl often had her classmates mistreat her, her mother doesn't seem to be any nicer, either. This might lead to her having continuous nightmares, and Melty, her friend in Meltyland, eats the nightmares for her, so that's how it goes. Every night, the blue girl would go to Meltyland and have her friend eat the nightmares. Slowly, due to having her nightmares eaten, the blue girl no longer suffers from it every night (shown by her smiling at Melty instead of being sad). This meant though they might be friends, the blue girl no longer has any needs to go to Meltyland anymore, and Melty, not having nightmares to eat anymore, starves to her death. At the end of the MV, Melty disappears, the blue girl is also not present.
I feel like it’s about a girl (blue) who’s parents are abusive and classmates bully her, and she dreams of a world with this (pink) girl who only wants her to be happy but can’t because she isn’t real
i think it's not just that it's also the 'melty land' is where things are forgotten i think it's her imaginary friend dying and wanting happiness for her creator who had no one else, but also wanting to stay with her honestly this is a bitter and sad song that sounds upbeat
I know the actual story (wiki Fandom and a Harumaki Gohan post translated in a comment in the original version) and @SarahBarr actually got it right, but pink (Melty) can't make her happy because Vlie forgets her dreams
this song is so damn sad. i made my own "imaginary friend" (OC) to cope with the death of a close friend at the time i first heard this because it hit so deep it still makes me cry. i still would rather live in my dreams than live in real life
Decided to copy-paste this here and on the Project Sekai version because Harugo lore is cool lol Heya! I'm an avid fan of Harumaki Gohan, because yes, this Vocaloid producer has his own fandom. He even has a fan wiki! Anyway, I've seen a theory floating around lately that this song is about a teenager who gets an abortion. While that theory is definitely impressive, Harumaki Gohan actually confirmed this song's meaning in the Neo Dream Traveler artbook! It's actually much more surface level then you'd think, considering this is a VOCALOID song. But I've taken it upon myself to explain the lore of Harugo's fictional universe in the comment sections of all his songs that have lore - and this is no exception! (PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT saying this is the only interpretation! Everyone is still allowed to interpret songs however they like. I personally believed that this song was about Portal 2 for a long time, and the theory I made to back that interpretation up is actually pretty good, if I do say so myself! And I've gotta give credit to the person who made the abortion theory - they're a GENIUS.) In the Harugo universe, there's the Blue Planet, where Futari No takes place. However, there's also special planets called Dream Planets. People can visit these planets while they sleep, and there's so many that every dream planet except for the Melty Land and Seventina is undiscovered! On the Melty Land, there lives a single resident - Melty. Melty is a half-baku-half-human. In case you didn't know, a baku is a Japanese mythical creature that is said to eat nightmares ("dinnertime"). Melty has lived alone on that planet for around 5,000 years - that is, until Blue Girl started showing up. Blue Girl had a bad life, which caused her to have nightmares. As a result, she started giving these nightmares for Melty for her to eat, and the two quickly became close friends. Since there's no day and night in the Melty Land, Melty created a clock in order to tell when Blue would show up. Since Melty had nothing better to do before Blue arrived, every day, she went to sleep on her bed of pink balls inside her house until Blue came, establishing a sort of "day" and "night" for Melty. The two repeated this cycle for many years. However, there was one TINY problem - Melty is a very kind person and a good friend. As a result, she made her best effort to comfort Blue. Unfortunately, the better Blue felt, the less nightmares there were for Melty to eat, and Blue started coming to the Melty Land less and less often - until she stopped coming all together. Deep down, Melty was terrified of this, but she eventually accepted it as she knew that Blue's true happiness was outside of dreams. And thus, Melty starved to death. The end. So that was kinda dark, but at least Blue got a happy ending. To lighten the mood, here's some fun facts! • So did you know that this song and Seventina are actually connected? Dango, Tina's creator, thought that Tina would get lonely all by herself in her world. As a result, since she somehow knew about Melty and Blue, she drew them into Tina's school! A tunnel was formed between the two words, allowing the three to visit each other any time they liked. However, as Melty and Tina became clossr, Blue got very jealous of Tina, overwhelming Melty! • The pink balls are what Melty calls "dream fragments." Sometimes, they turn into whole Dream Planets! • The squiggly things are called Dream Snakes. They don't really serve a purpose. They're just cool. • The Blue Planet regularly gives reports on the Melty Land, which is kind of an invasion of privacy on Melty, Blue, and Tina's part...
Really cool that you went into as much detail as you did here! I'm always excited to find people equally as obsessed with these music videos as I am. Couple things though: Do we know that Melty starves at the end? You said she's survived for long amounts of time on her own, which seems to imply that Bakus in this universe can go centuries without eating if needed. Either that, or that it implies other people have visited the Melty Land before, even if Melty herself didn't grow as close with any of them as she did with Blue. (A potential fan theory I've heard floating around is that Melty is also the Night Devil from the song of the same name on the Futari no album. If this is true, it would imply that Nana and Lili have also visited the Melty Land, at least once.) Second, you mentioned that there's only two known Dream Worlds. I'm about to get into fan-theory territory here (again) by saying there could actually be two more Dream Worlds, depicted in Dreamless Dream and Destiny, respectively. Dreamless Dream gets directly referenced in the Futari no song, Secrets, with the giant book Nana and Lili flip through. The planet depicted in Destiny, on the other hand, is a little harder to find evidence for, considering that it's a much more recent song (and a collaboration with another artist, so it might not even be canon for all we know). The character that wakes up at the end of it definitely looks like Mikage from the upcoming Envy Phantom album, but this isn't the first time two unrelated Harumaki Gohan characters have had uncanny resemblances to each other (Nana from Futari no and Melty being the most apparent example). Sorry, I've been rambling for a bit. (Thanks for giving me the excuse to ramble about my obscure special interest!)
@@ninjapotatolorf6237 Dreamless Dreams is DEFINITELY a Dream Planet, yeah. As for Destiny, though, that one's a bit trickier. It could be a dream planet, OR it could be Mikage's subconscious - or, seeing as how Seventina reveals that DPs can be created by people, maybe Mikage's subconscious became a DP. I have a whole theory about this, actually - it's on Destiny's page on the Harumaki Gohan Wiki.
@@amethyst4578 okay I just read your theory (and rewatched the music video because I can) and I gotta say, this is a really interesting theory. I'm not sure if the situation is as straightforward as Wavy-hair girl forcing herself back into Mikage's personality though. After all, Mikage herself is trying to help her escape on the plane, even though the lyrics imply that she doesn't really like this part of herself. The somewhat gore-filled imagery could be what Mikage is afraid will happen if this reckless side of herself is allowed to surface. Perhaps Mikage was the one who abandoned, or at least tried to abandon, Wavy-hair in the first place. It'd explain why the planet they're on is so desolate and void of life; she's gone out of her way to neglect this part of herself. The lyrics about indirectly disowning a "good for nothing son" have always confused me, but with this interpretation, it could actually be describing Mikage's past relationship with this part of herself. (Notice how she's turned away from Wavy-hair in that part of the music video.) Mikage is torn. Even as she wants to do what's right and let a truer version of herself go free or "become one", she's still afraid and full of self-loathing. Of course, this is all just theory-crafting, so my interpretation could be completely wrong here.
@@ninjapotatolorf6237 bro i LOVE your take on the theory! yeah thinking about it it definitely took a lot of extra effort for destiny (that's what i call her to save time) to convince mikage to let her escape and become one with her. and maybe the end with destiny having the messed-up face implies that she failed, and mikage actually DID legitimately kill destiny by neglecting her so much. or, you can also interpret the end as destiny succeeding, but mikage not being happy with it at all. the scene from the chorus is played again because mikage thinks this will actually happen to her now, and this is also evidenced by the mental breakdown at the very end - it's mikage having a panic attack over this side of herself finally becoming one with her. not only does she not want to be reckless like destiny, she doesn't *want* to get better. she says in gen'ei, "honestly, i'd rather not understand my feelings". as much as this is hurting her, she can't stop or else she'll be forced to deal with her emotions. and now i'm rambling. this song is just so interesting...
Even though this isn't that old, I already get nostalgia, or atleast a sadness for this because it reminds me of last year, 6th grade, I remember sitting alone on the school bus every morning listening to all your different covers, this being one of them, and another being "Alien Alien". I'd sit and look out the window at the dark blue sky and rain and I'd cry, I literally would. I felt so alone, and everyday was just a cycle of going to school, feeling worthless, going home, and then repeat. I always did this thing where I'd look up at the ceiling lights on the bus and call it my "bus limbo", and weirdly enough I can remember most of the songs I was listening to in each of my individual bus limbos. You and your covers of songs have helped me through a lot, and even as I listen to every different version of a song I usually connect with yours the most. Listening to a My R you didn't cover would just be wrong! I've listened to the same version since I was about 8 years old, maybe 9, and I'm 12 now (turning 13 on the 10th of February)! 😂 Sorry for writing a huge speech you'll never even read, but thank you. 💕
I love this song. I really do, and I’m sorry-I’m _so_ sorry-but it’s long past bed o’clock and all I can hear is “titty marks” at 1:54 and I can’t even progress in the song because my sleep-deprived lump of a brain just keeps insisting on replaying that moment and weeping with undeserved laughter instead of taking anything seriously.
Sapphirewolf O.O I can’t un-hear that anymore! I couldn’t stop laughing after I read this comment and heard that part you were talking about. Good catch dude 😂
Aw this reminds me of like when I used to imagine a dream world because of something that upset me.. Usually its little things like getting in trouble with my mom for doing something I wasn't supposed to or big things like bullying. I like "said too many things" instead of bullying though! Sometimes classmates say too many things about a person and some of those things end up being hurtful and I would silently wish they would stop. Heh i actually still do think about that dream world
A world so similar to ours. I remember going to sleep as soon as I got home from school just to avoid my abusive parents. Dreams were the only way to get away from the bad things, having no other safe options. I'm safe now and doing better, but to those of you who aren't and are still taking solace in your dreams: The tide will turn. The pain may never fully go away, but you will find ways to cope and better your mental health. You will find peace in more than just your dreams someday and it's almost overwhelming how much relief washes over you when this comes to fruition. Even better than the dreams you melt into.
My take on this story is a faraway land only accessed by dreams. She goes to this world like many others have stated because of the aforementioned bullying. The other girl knows she's dreaming and will have to return home eventually to where she will just feel empty and forget everything she seen. What makes it more jarringly depressing is people have spent what feels like years in alternate realities in their dreams, just to be yanked back home after some long period of time. The system shock is strong enough to cause depression that can last weeks sometimes.
@@yuuki_ppotle Are you talking about the Futari No series? I can't link a source since I heard this from someone else, but I'm pretty sure Harumaki Gohan confirmed that they aren't related.
@@yuuki_ppotle Sorry if I sound dumb, but what game? I think of Portal 2 (specifically Wheatley) when I hear this song, but you probably don't mean that.
Aaa! Rachie!!! This is so great! The translyrics are very similar to the original English lyrics, and your voice fits perfectly with this song! This is really amazing!!!
Yes. You have an awesome voice, I'd say you captured the sadness & pain in the end well. As for the thumbnail format, it looks cool. Keep up the good work.
(Don’t mind me getting obsessed with the lore behind a random vocaloid song I found late at night again-) So the blue girl obviously gets harassed by her parents and/or other kids at school and I think whenever she does/whenever she feels sad she dreams of the ‘meltyland’. Everyone who has a depressing real-life has some sort of escape mechanism and for the blue girl it’s dreaming imo. I also think that the pink girl (‘melty’) knows that she is only part of the blue girls dream and that there’s nothing she can do to protect her outside of it so she tries to make her happy inside the dream. Also, when the blue girl wakes up in the real world, she falls asleep in the dream world, hence why at the beginning Melty was all like ‘hey hey wake up’ n is why she says ‘where tragic dreams so beautiful get laid down to rest’ (in real life, the ‘tragic dream’, the girl is resting). Over time, I think that blue girl gets sad less and less and so Melty ends up waiting longer and longer (‘a thousand years passing, only now it’s happening’) and why she’s like ‘I know you’ll forget me someday’ and why she’s talking about living out ‘happy endings’ and how the futures ‘set in stone’. I also believe that ‘Melty’ to the girl is the friend that she wish that she had in real life, I think that the girl tells Melty all about when something bad happens in the real world (‘I know about all the nightmares you see in your sleep’) n stuff. But hey, that’s just a *theory*… a vocaloid *theory*.
2:08 Wait a second... Is this song prequel of Cobalt Memories? "Sound that knocked the whole world dead" thing... The color of asteroids is also blue...
Plus just to add on, nothing in this song suggest this has anything to do with Cobalt Memories. There are no references or anything. A blue comet shouldn't be included considering the pink and blue only color scheme.
Well, what obvious to me is this song is before apocalypse, and Cobalt Memories is post apocalypse, and they have the same producer, so is it wrong to me to see this song as prequel?
I can't help but cry so hard. The melty girl loves real girl but she will be forgotten by her love and left behind to face the world alone. And she tries to face it all with a smile and only breaks into tears when the person she loves leaves her forever. Ahhhhhhhh it's so unfair and painful God dam it.

its late and its time for me to give my own theory i always thought it was abt the pink girl being in blues dreams and had started to fall in love w blue and eventually began to realize that she wouldnt always be in her dreams to meet her / could never actually be with her bc shes only in her dreams and she'll eventually become forgotten one way or another, and to pink the dream world is her entire world
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COVERING THIS!!! I've been hoping someone would cover this for so long and i nearly screamed at 5am because of the notification that you updated with this!
The song is about a girl (blue) who has dreams of Melty Land. Blue is lonely and sad, and Pink exists to make Blue happier. The forks and dinnertime represent Blue "consuming" her dreams. That's her way of coping with the mean things her classmates and mom might say. At the end, maybe Blue stops relying on Pink, so they disappear. Or maybe it's just the end of one dream, with another to come the next night. Edit: I watched the original before this one, the dinnertime references stand out more in Japanese version www
Okay I searched up what the song it means So the pink girl her name is Melty, Blue girl had a hard time in life and she has nightmares cuz of it. Melty eats those nightmares. When blue girl stops getting nightmares she starts to starve. And blue girl start to forget the time she had with Melty That’s also why at 2:39 she sing at this astonishing dinner time
yesss!! thank you for this cover; i’ve been listening to silvana’s cover for a while so i’m gonna enjoy adding this to my daily melty land nightmare listenings LOL
I haven't tried to look into super hard, but I think that basically it's about a girl who's constantly having nightmares. Melty, whom this song is from the point of view of, is interfering to give her good dreams, but the girl will forget her upon waking up. It could be less literal than that, of course. The nightmares probably aren't actual nightmares, but just bad things (classmates being bullies, parents being mean to her). Melty could be an imaginary friend, who she's bound to forget once she grows old. I don't know for sure, but those are a few ideas of what I think it is.
my own is I think the girl is her best friend who loves and cares for but she's having flashbacks and nightmares forgetting about their "best memories" which brings the line "its melting away" and "you'll forget me too" and the title "melty land nightmare" melt land nightmare as the nightmare is making everything into a melting or fading land making it into a nightmare into her point of view i hope it makes sense im not good at explaining and i have really bad english :c
I believe it's about a girl who tried to end her life(because the description of her life) or is just in a coma of sorts Because it seems melty(pink girl) had never dissapeared before. Anyway, Melty is finally happy to see the blue girl because the owner of her world belongs to the blue girl since this is her dream. I think melty is a interpretation of a old friend the blue girl used to have, but for some reason or another, the real melty is gone. I think the blue girl was in a coma for awhile (hence why she says it's the 5000th time) because days are passing by. And the blue girl is coming closer to waking up, back into the world where it's harsh on her, and melty continues to try and make her happy and stay in this happy world But soon melty realizes she can't do this forever and the blue girl must go home eventually or she'll die (hence why etheir way the line about the end of the world was going to happen) So anyways, Melty realizes the world will end after she leaves and it'll take her world away too. Melty doesn't want her to leave her again and she doesn't want to be forgotten, it's selfish and melty knows that but she still wants it to happen. But the blue girl leaves anyway back into reality. And melty's world starts to crumble away which scares her but she recognizes this as being free (the blue girl letting go of a false hope in a fairytale which is melty's world) And the blue girl wakes up and forgets melty, because you can't remember a dream forever. Despite this, Melty still loves her and wants her to be okay and let those nightmares dissapear, just like the dream she's stuck in.
There's a couple of lyrics I prefer over these ("I've been waiting a millennium for this" and "It's enough to be suspicious, this amazing dinner time" specifically) but aside from those I really like your take on them. Your voice also fits the song really well, so I don't mind that much.
The most interesting thing about this song for me is the fact that the “melty” girl asks the other girl if she just had another nightmare, despite the fact that the other girl is clearly dreaming/had fallen asleep - does she consider her real life a nightmare?

However, as Melty and Tina became clossr, Blue got very jealous of Tina, overwhelming Melty!
• The pink balls are what Melty calls "dream fragments." Sometimes, they turn into whole Dream Planets!
• The squiggly things are called Dream Snakes. They don't really serve a purpose. They're just cool.
• The Blue Planet regularly gives reports on the Melty Land, which is kind of an invasion of privacy on Melty, Blue, and Tina's part...
AAAWH THATS SO SADD
Really cool that you went into as much detail as you did here! I'm always excited to find people equally as obsessed with these music videos as I am.
Couple things though:
Do we know that Melty starves at the end? You said she's survived for long amounts of time on her own, which seems to imply that Bakus in this universe can go centuries without eating if needed. Either that, or that it implies other people have visited the Melty Land before, even if Melty herself didn't grow as close with any of them as she did with Blue. (A potential fan theory I've heard floating around is that Melty is also the Night Devil from the song of the same name on the Futari no album. If this is true, it would imply that Nana and Lili have also visited the Melty Land, at least once.)
Second, you mentioned that there's only two known Dream Worlds.
(Notice how she's turned away from Wavy-hair in that part of the music video.)
Mikage is torn.

The art is so cute and your voice matches it well
Froggie *OH SHOOT, FROGGIE!!!* Big fan, esPECIALLY of your mixing skills!!!
Thanks, now I can’t unhear it
PhanSundae I know right?! 🤣😅
Can’t un hear that now. Thanks
Winnie Lee haha!
At 1:54 did anyone else hear "Tiddy Marks" instead of "Today Marks?"
.... Wh y
yes
Yeah...
I cannot unhear this now, why would you curse my ears. /pos
this has been my favorite song for so long and my queen fucken killed it.
where's my wig
IN UR HAND
HELL YEAH BABE!!!!
Heh i actually still do think about that dream world
透き通るくらい綺麗で美しい歌声ですね‼︎
美しさと可愛さを両方持っている声って感じがして羨ましいです!
惚れ惚れしました!
I really miss all of your sad song covers :((
But I love your voice either way!!
This is a sad song
Katzumi Yeah, I know! I just really like it when the lyrics and sad and the song is slow and quiet. I still really love all of her covers, though! ^^
I mean, they're still there for you to listen to!
She means new ones, duh.
They don't need to be new to be good?
A world so similar to ours.
I remember going to sleep as soon as I got home from school just to avoid my abusive parents.
Dreams were the only way to get away from the bad things, having no other safe options.
I'm safe now and doing better, but to those of you who aren't and are still taking solace in your dreams:
The tide will turn.
My ears have been blessed! 💕💕
You know, with that last line, could we say...
The World Ends with You?
(It's never getting a sequel.)
It just did though haha
@@yuuki_ppotle Are you talking about the Futari No series? I can't link a source since I heard this from someone else, but I'm pretty sure Harumaki Gohan confirmed that they aren't related.
@@amethyst4578 No, I thought that the game was getting a sequel, but turns out it was the final mix :) my mistake.
@@yuuki_ppotle Sorry if I sound dumb, but what game? I think of Portal 2 (specifically Wheatley) when I hear this song, but you probably don't mean that.
@@yuuki_ppotle Oh, I just found out that The World Ends With You is a game. Sorry lol
Aaa! Rachie!!! This is so great! The translyrics are very similar to the original English lyrics, and your voice fits perfectly with this song! This is really amazing!!!
My brain tricked me and said the muffled thing you said at the end was "I'll never forget you" and I cried
I have no clue why
But this cover (SPECIFICALLY this cover) makes me so emotional. You're so good at singing oml-
Yes. You have an awesome voice, I'd say you captured the sadness & pain in the end well. As for the thumbnail format, it looks cool. Keep up the good work.
(Don’t mind me getting obsessed with the lore behind a random vocaloid song I found late at night again-)
So the blue girl obviously gets harassed by her parents and/or other kids at school and I think whenever she does/whenever she feels sad she dreams of the ‘meltyland’.
The color of asteroids is also blue...
trivia kenny I don't even think this song is by the same person...idk, I haven't heard Cobalt Memories in a long time
Yes, both of the songs is by Harumaki Gohan, and in case you want to enjoy the nostalgia:
th-cam.com/video/xOdpB_KwaPU/w-d-xo.html
@@triviakenny6878
How would this be a prequel. Just because the asteroid is blue?? The whole color scheme is pink and blue
I feel soft looking and listening to this omg.
I love the the pastel theme so much, ur voice really fits this song a lot 💞💞💞
i was really hoping you'd cover this!! this is amazing i am so proud
I picked up my best headphones to hear this, you're the best Rachie ^^
I can't help but cry so hard. The melty girl loves real girl but she will be forgotten by her love and left behind to face the world alone. And she tries to face it all with a smile and only breaks into tears when the person she loves leaves her forever. Ahhhhhhhh it's so unfair and painful God dam it.
I was waiting for this! Thank you it’s my favorite song!
I've added french subs ! I'll be translating in this language every new rachie cover from now on ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
J'ai ajouté des sous-titres en français ! Je traduirai chaque nouvelle cover de rachie dans cette langue à partir d'aujourd'hui ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

It's so sad and beautiful at the same time. I freaking love it, well done !
its late and its time for me to give my own theory
i always thought it was abt the pink girl being in blues dreams and had started to fall in love w blue and eventually began to realize that she wouldnt always be in her dreams to meet her / could never actually be with her bc shes only in her dreams and she'll eventually become forgotten one way or another, and to pink the dream world is her entire world
Gosh how can I missed this out for over 2 years 🤦♂️
Don't worry mate you're not the only one.... Sadly..
FINALLY SOMEONE COVERS THISSSS Rachie your taste in music is superb love you ♡
although i often forget my dreams, i'll never forget this song, pink sweet girl

YAS I NEEDED A COVER JUST RIGHT NOW!!!!
Holy shit I wasn't expecting a cover of this song. Thank the goddess rachie on high. Lol this is an amazing cover :3

Okay I searched up what the song it means
So the pink girl her name is Melty, Blue girl had a hard time in life and she has nightmares cuz of it.
Melty eats those nightmares. When blue girl stops getting nightmares she starts to starve.
And blue girl start to forget the time she had with Melty That’s also why at 2:39 she sing at this astonishing dinner time

aaaahhhh this is so beautiful! you definitely did the song justice!
Could someone give me an interpretation of this song ? I can't make my own I dont really understand it... :(
I haven't tried to look into super hard, but I think that basically it's about a girl who's constantly having nightmares.
I believe it's about a girl who tried to end her life(because the description of her life) or is just in a coma of sorts
Because it seems melty(pink girl) had never dissapeared before.
And the blue girl is coming closer to waking up, back into the world where it's harsh on her, and melty continues to try and make her happy and stay in this happy world
But soon melty realizes she can't do this forever and the blue girl must go home eventually or she'll die (hence why etheir way the line about the end of the world was going to happen)
So anyways, Melty realizes the world will end after she leaves and it'll take her world away too.
Melty doesn't want her to leave her again and she doesn't want to be forgotten, it's selfish and melty knows that but she still wants it to happen.
But the blue girl leaves anyway back into reality.
And melty's world starts to crumble away which scares her but she recognizes this as being free (the blue girl letting go of a false hope in a fairytale which is melty's world)
And the blue girl wakes up and forgets melty, because you can't remember a dream forever.
Despite this, Melty still loves her and wants her to be okay and let those nightmares dissapear, just like the dream she's stuck in.
@@Jay-ti7wm i really like this theory
I've been blessed haven't I? I really love it! Great job!!
Harumaki Gohan doesn't get enough attention; thank you
Welp, here come the tears. Anyways, this cover is amazing and the new icon/profile pic thing looks stellar and also adorable.
There's a couple of lyrics I prefer over these ("I've been waiting a millennium for this" and "It's enough to be suspicious, this amazing dinner time" specifically) but aside from those I really like your take on them. Your voice also fits the song really well, so I don't mind that much.
Wow 10 dislikes?! I guess you're getting better Rachie but it shows for more improvement :) I personally love this song
