As in this video: th-cam.com/video/fD08USv8nOg/w-d-xo.html ? I watched your video(s) early last year and, as usual, I was impressed with them. That view looking west from Onoyama-Koen station is irresistible and I was fortunate to catch a departing train as one approached and unfortunate that my camera shut down before the intended end of shot.
Nice video! How does this monorail compare to the KL Monorail? I recognize many scenes from when I was there in Naha! I’m looking forward to visiting when the extension opens next year!
Now there's a question ! An obvious difference is the larger loading gauge (do we use that term with monorails?) of Naha over KL, the bogie is underfloor as opposed to hidden in a seating unit and there is also more head room. The carriages have a sturdier feel to them and the ride is generally a little smoother. I will be diplomatic and say nothing more... Looking forward to watching your video on the extension.
I love the scene at 1:40 where you can see through the undercarriage of the monorail! I put this scene in my video too!
