this is so interesting to see in real time, im sure this takes forever to do. I'd love to see this done for the upcoming classic, jade's floor in particular. I think flavia gets "over scored" because of the fluidity of her dance and performance quality, it reminds me of Gadirova a bit. As much as I prefer Shilese's I cant deny there's something Flavia and Gadirova do that makes them hyper engaging to the audience, I bet it's even more so if you're watching IRL.
The scoring was a bit ridiculous at worlds but I feel it’s all due to trying to allow everyone to compete with Simone. I feel They’ve changed CoP for that reason. I hope the US sends a better team to Paris. Really like Leane and Skye but not for Paris. I am also routing for Brazil and France too. I love Rebecca and Flavia but to be honest Rebecca is the team. Flavia is one of my favorites but in the past she’s been very inconsistent. She was wonderful at worlds. Hope the winning streak continues. I also love Melanie from France. Enjoyed watching this, but there were four others gymnasts too. The Brazilians and Americans were good, but I missed Sabrina Vionea in particular ❤, analysis for her too would have been great.
I think that Sabrina Voinea got knocked off the podium specifically because of artistry deductions. Sure, her Chuso is messy, but she could’ve weathered that with the D edge that she had over Shilese and Flavia if her routine had actual choreography, which it really didn’t here.
@@asharadayne6159she has a cute but poorly designed routine that on smaller competitions works very well but pales and looks immature when shown next to the best floor routines at the world stage from the USA and Brazil.
@@mrpartsyeah, exactly. She still scored in the same range that she’d been scoring all year, but what’s good enough for a medal at a World Cup or at Euros generally isn’t enough for a medal at Worlds. Honestly, she needs to work on her artistry with the Dutch coach who’s working with the rest of the time, but the Old Guard of Romanian gymnastics has claimed Sabrina as their representative and probably won’t let her do that.
Okay, so…I attempted to score Sabrina. I’m not a judge, and I definitely got a chance to scrutinize the routine more closely than they did in real time. I tried to only take deductions based on what I saw in real time and don’t use slow-mo to judge, but I was able to go more slowly than they would be. (On the other hand, I definitely can’t judge as fast as a judge who’s qualified for Worlds. Here’s what I got. Popa (C) (precision: 0.1) Chuso (H) (leg separation: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1, bent knees: 0.1,hop: 0.1) *You’re allowed to pike as much as 30 degrees to land for the second half of the last salto, and she didn’t do that. Her air form had problems, but her landings were good. Silivas (H) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small step: 0.1) Triple turn (C) (precision: 0.1) Switch leap (B) + Tour jeté 1/2 (C), shape: 0.1, precision: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1) Mukhina (E) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small step: 0.1) Split 1/1 (C) (shape: 0.1, precision: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1) Front tuck (A)…double tuck (D) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small hop: 0.1) There were some other deductions that I considered taking, like a shape deduction for her switch leap because her front leg was a bit low at one point, but I think that she was fine for the actual split. Her dance elements really hurt her overall, but her Popa and switch split were good. Other deductions that I considered were a leg separation deduction for the flight phase of her back tuck and a flexed feet deduction for her front tuck, but I didn’t give her those because I didn’t see them until I watched the video for a second time. Now, onto artistry: poor posture (0.1), poor engagement according to music style (0.1), lack of fluency/series of disconnected movements (0.1), insufficient complexity throughout exercise (0.1), poor corner choreography (0.1) So, she got 1.8 in technical deductions (though I could see taking up to 2.1 to 2.2) and 0.5 in artistry deductions. That gives her a 7.7 E.

@@emilianorochamedrado6680 Flavia does have better overall presentation than Simone. She does struggle with excessive preparation tho & doing similar tumbling entry’s. Simone often times starts dancing and etc yet Shilese struggles with numerous form errors like Flavia
this is so interesting to see in real time, im sure this takes forever to do.
I disagree and of course the crowds gonna be attracted to whiteness
@@gymlandia4467 disagree about why Flavia overscored?
@@gymlandia4467 They cheered tf out of rebeca andrade too so that theory falls flat
I really like her Gymnastics. Love her floor routine. I thought Shilese floor was ok. I agree with judges on top 3 in floor final. Not in love with Shilese’s floor routine but it’s better than her previous. I wish she’d get rid of the L turns.
It official that u just cant judge
Not 11 and 8 views on your YT 😩. Focus on yourself first boo
Rebeca🎉
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Always entertaining
The judges just be deducting cause they know the code will not allow a perfect 10
Yeah even though she technically outscored Shilese. I didn’t count her in this
@@asharadayne6159she has a cute but poorly designed routine that on smaller competitions works very well but pales and looks immature when shown next to the best floor routines at the world stage from the USA and Brazil.
Popa (C) (precision: 0.1)
Chuso (H) (leg separation: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1, bent knees: 0.1,hop: 0.1)
*You’re allowed to pike as much as 30 degrees to land for the second half of the last salto, and she didn’t do that. Her air form had problems, but her landings were good.
Silivas (H) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small step: 0.1)
Triple turn (C) (precision: 0.1)
Switch leap (B) + Tour jeté 1/2 (C), shape: 0.1, precision: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1)
Mukhina (E) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small step: 0.1)
Split 1/1 (C) (shape: 0.1, precision: 0.1, flexed feet: 0.1)
Front tuck (A)…double tuck (D) (flexed feet: 0.1, legs apart on landing: 0.1, small hop: 0.1)
There were some other deductions that I considered taking, like a shape deduction for her switch leap because her front leg was a bit low at one point, but I think that she was fine for the actual split.
Now, onto artistry:
poor posture (0.1), poor engagement according to music style (0.1), lack of fluency/series of disconnected movements (0.1), insufficient complexity throughout exercise (0.1), poor corner choreography (0.1)
So, she got 1.8 in technical deductions (though I could see taking up to 2.1 to 2.2) and 0.5 in artistry deductions.
That gives her a 7.7 E.
Should have rescored Sabrina voinea too
You can continue complaining and crying about it, but the reality is only one: FLAVIA SARAIVA WORLD MEDALIST. And what about shilese? She can try to improve her floor and compete again next year! AQUI É BRASILLLLLL!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
@@carinatojal9317 and what did Flavia accomplish at the Olympics instead of being dragged to gold by a black woman. Didn’t even make FX or BB finals good day. Shilese has 6 world medals to Flavia’s 2 good day.
Ce rost mai are postarea?
Lucrurile au fost consumate.
Say that Americans are always better. And that the international judges favored the Brazilians.
Another great video! "I'm throwing the book at everybody....." 😂😂😂😂
It took me a couple days to do this shii I’m not gonna sit up here and act like a liscened judge. All the effort put into this video, Yet for hall hoes to try to drag me lmao. Please take the time to go to hell check if Delta or united are offering the flights ✈️!!
“Artistry deduction: lack of fluency to music” is suchhhhhhhhh bs. I’m not saying you scored it wrong I’m saying this is like sooooo subjective. You could basically take this 0.1 deduction anywhere at any time at any part of anyone’s floor routine. “Oh it didn’t look fluid enough to me” like what are we talking about FIG????? These girls are doing double laid out somersaults and you’re deducting their “fluency to music” just as much as their break-neck acrobatics only a handful of gymnasts are capable of. Ridiculous, inappropriate and embarrassing for the FIG in my opinion.
I believe you are watching the wrong sport. You should check Tumbling. This is artistic gymnastics.
10:46 i take 0,5 for that step, 0,1 for oob
You can’t take .5 for a step. Only .1 & .3 so wtf 😩.
