Yeah I miss the old days where you could just buy a $5 or $10 magazine, and there were different types of magazines there was a car magazine, a computer parts magazine... I don't want an entire years subscription. I don't need the consumer reports for everything just certain categories of items. I'm not interested in what's the best cheap item, if a cheap item doesn't work for me I just buy a different brand next time. Its the big purchases that I can't afford to get wrong that I need Consumer Reports for.
Trying the equipment before buying is good advice, the problem I'm running into is there aren't many stores with exercise equipment in my area. If a store does have exercise equipment it only has 1 or 2 machines. The machines in gyms are higher end machines an individual probably can't afford. Does anyone know of a store that has lots of different machines?
Hi all .. Can anyone PLS suggest should they have any knowledge of it, an elliptical that is best for people who have lower back pain, as in an elliptical that doesnt make you lean too far forward, and or maybe one that has arm grips that can be adjusted to be closer to the person, please any tips or suggestions, budget is around 1000 USD .. Checked the Norditrack 5.5 new but not having the machine in front of me, living on a small island with no dealers, it's hard to decide looking at pictures, please can anyone help ?? Thanks
Beware when purchasing the Pro Form Elliptical Trainer II. Customer assistance on all new purchases is only provided if you fully register the product first.
They want you to buy a $40 years subscription for that information and you will be overwhelmed with reports on everything you can imagine. Its too bad you can't buy a $10 magazine on exercise equipment like you used to be able to.
Information as usual on theses machines is Very vague! I have not found an honest review of these machines on YT. They say review but there just commercials.
Yeah and its hard to find a store where you can go in and try out a few machines. If you think you can buy the same machine thats at the gym, those gym machines tend to be high end and cost thousands.
Just stay away from the overpriced Octane fitness brand ( $3000). I have one and it's loud like a mild version inside a sawmill. It was so annoying that I didnt touch for years. I thought something wrong but I went to their dealership store again and they were all fucking noisy like that.
I hope they do so they can let the general people know how Bowflex holds up. They are the K-mart of fitness. You can try their machines when it shows up at your door. And if you send it back -- you get to pay the shipping. Ever shipped a 200lb box in the mail? It ain't pretty.
thank you, completely trust your reviews unlike soooo many videos who offer links to ..guess who....manufacturers!
I love Con Reports: here's vague facts obscured by paywall.
