Honestly, everyone shits on the XD series of handguns from Springfield my pops still owns an XD 40 since the mid 2000s for years never had a malfunction with every time we’ve gone to the range. He has never upgraded still loves the 40 and he says he never will upgrade say what you want about Springfield but for the price if I was on a budget and I didn’t have what I have now id start with that one.
I think Springfield Armory makes great guns, a lot of people are not thrilled with them being made in Croatia so they trash things that aren't American made.
I like my mod 3. I don't like the reset, but not a deal breaker for the price. Mod 2 has been reliable and I expect it will be the same for the mod 3. The CZ P10C is worth the extra $100 for the trigger and the extra mag. I can only speak for my areas pricing and they are priced at $270 vs $370. If you are just looking for the best gun at $270-300, nothing I've tried comes close to the mod.3.
I like the Mod 3 I think it's a great gun for the money, there is a lot of great guns for around $300 like the Taurus G series but having the springfield name helps 😁
I like the gun, I think it's a great deal but some people don't like springfield cause they make a lot of stuff in other countries but if it works then I like it.

I have a couple XD’s and I think they are underrated. Mine have great triggers and have been dead reliable. Good review.

I just bought one and I love it, gun mag wearhouse has mags I ordered 3 for like 72.00 . They are the same as the mod 2 .
