- Hey guys! I am so excited to finally show you our backyard living space!! We have been working on this space almost since the beginning of this project and it is finally to a state where I can show you everything that we have done. The first thing that I have to say is that Ben and I have never owned a pool, so this was the first time that I have decorated a pool deck and it was soooo much fun turning our outdoor living space into a spa or resort-like get away. I know we are going to make some incredible memories while we are here and can't wait for the pool fun this summer. I hope you guys love the before and after reveal. Yes oleanders are deadly. Their leaves can kill a horse which is why we took ours out. They have them everywhere in CA. Glad you’re spending more time together. We recently downsized our home 50% and just love it!

It’s called Life Deck Coating and the color is Cape Cod Grey. It was just painted over the concrete.
oleanders are toxic, but they are also very beautiful so you just need to respect them just as you wouldn't touch a hot burner perhaps put something in front of them so a pet doesn't try them. :-) There are quite a few along sidewalks and in parks here in Mexico.
Do the cushions on the poolside furniture repel water easily? Or do they dry easily?

Just to clarify, I believe the pool drainage issue they had was due to the fact that there was only one floor drain which is a safety hazard due to a small child being stuck by suction, they require two drains on the same line to prevent the suction from being high enough to hold a child down.
Backyard looks amazing 😍😍 I just ordered the lounge chairs from Living Spaces and was wondering how they are holding up. Is the hardware holding up to the elements? I’m worried about possible rust stains on my patio.
They have actually been great! I believe all the pieces that contact the patio are coated in plastic or rubber so we’ve had no issues. We’ve had a lot of rain storms lately and the pieces all still look amazing!

The chimeney color seems to match the house color in the video....not very noticeable nor takes away from the beauty of your overall project.....everything looks beautiful.....
This is what I have to do, exactly, why I am getting reverse loan, my back yard, is dead as well, I need to add a swimming pool, extra storage,, landscaping, our yard is terrible, terrible, terrible,..! And front yard land scaping as well.

This is what I have to do, in one month, every thing from, scratch, we have never had a swimming pool, either, accept I have a dog. So it is just my dog and I, and eventually, my cousin who will be coming, over,..! As well,..!

You would have to eat a ton of oleander for it to hurt you. But if you do. It is poisonous. Your yard looks great. Are you in AZ? It looks familiar.
The swimming pool, I am doing for my health, because, I am a level 2 diabetic, and I have arthritis. In addition, I am going to be adding a hot tub, and making over the entire bathroom, hall way, and living room. Instead of painting, I will be using peel and stick, wall paper, which I actually rediscovered, recently,..! So this is going to be, a very big project,.. bigger then, yours, much bigger,..!!
