Sounds like a con to extort extra money out of travellers in my opinion. We don't do that💩here in London, ENGLAND, we need tourists to spend money and have a good time💂
It's cute how she snuggles in the blanket, I will be sure to take one. Does she use the litter when travelling? I might be taking my cat on a 10 hour flight so am a bit worried about that aspect
The blanket is a lifesaver! And she won’t use her liter in the airport or on the plane. Unfortunately just something I can’t train her to do 🙃 I will usually pull her food about 6-8 hours before we start traveling so she doesn’t have a ton in her and then give her lots of opportunities to use her liter box in transit. We just completed a 16 hour travel day and she was okay. I offered her liter every 4 hours and she didn’t go but when we arrived at our Airbnb she went. It’s not ideal but I think pulling her food early helped with her tank being empty (so to speak)

My cat has kidney disease so I'm a bit nervous about withholding food as her wet food is how she gets most of her water(which supports the kidneys) but I can see how that would help with the toileting... I doubt mine will use the litter either as she won't on long car journeys even when it's freely available
