So you found the problem and repaired your tractor ?

@@AllaroundNbackagain Not yet, but the pump hasn't made any noise since year 2 and I'm not getting any gravity flow. I suspect I'll find those wires snapped off, when I get home and look at her. Seems a fair number of these pumps quit.

@@AllaroundNbackagain That was definitely the problem! Got 2 Amazon pumps for 1/2 the price of one original. (Just in case, I have a backup.). I would still be trying to bleed the lines if not for your video!

Any word on that dead end plug ? where does it go ? looks like a connection for something not optioned, or a diagnostics port

Yeah, I’d like to see a whole video on just how to remove the damned fuel pump from a 1025r!

Does the fuel pump keep ticking like that after the engine starts I thought it just runs for starting purposes?

Partner - I had the exact same problem on my 1025R - the wires from the pump to the series of zip tied wires was very tight and tore out the red lead from the black/red lead at the fuel pump housing. One question - how did you remove the fuel pump? I know it's a 10mm nut that secures the pump to the frame, but accessing them is very difficult. Any idea on what am I missing? Did you use a matching / swiveling wrench to gain access to the two nuts?

I got some of the surgical needle nose clamps like a doctor would use and clamped the fuel lines.
There are two fasteners, top and bottom, I had to use a combination wrench on one and a 1/4 drive ratchet, swivel and socket on the other. I just can’t remember which one...
Thanks for watching and I hope we earned a subscription from you. Good luck Peter.

Thanks for the help. It took me about 2 hours to remove - really struggled with the bottom bolt holding the pump to the block (about 45 minutes to reinstall - same issue with that bottom bolt!). When I took the pump to Deere for a replacement, they mentioned there is a TSB from Deere on this topic - #104931 - "The wiring harness going to the fuel transfer pump may have failed due to the routing of the harness, creating stress on the harness at the point of entry on the transfer pump.".

This is great information, my 1025R just came off warranty and it won't start (same problem). I've asked Martin Deerline if they will fix it as a goodwill gesture. I guess we'll see.
