I've been searching different polishing videos and this is the best one by far, I'm just getting into polishing and different compounds so this video is very helpful and informative, thanks
Fantastic! Exactly what I was looking for! Just a question please: I started pre-polishing a ring with Tripoli but the silver (925) got matte/greyish. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you very much! 🙏💖
Sorry for the delay. When you are doing the polishing often you will get a grayish film or such, but it should wash off with soap and hot water or you can use steam or the ultrasonic.
lballinger1 they are different. The radial discs are embedded with the abrasive. I believe they are all the same binder and just the abrasive is different sizes. The brushes allow you to use whichever abrasive you want. I also find that the bristle brushes can get into tighter areas than the radial brushes.
Thank You, Melissa I have always wondered how to get that high-high shine. I've watched lots of videos & yours is the most clear & educational. Can you share which Foredom handpiece your using?
How do you keep your used brushes and buffs organized so they don’t cross contaminate? Mine end up in the spinning holder and then who know which is which? HELP!!!

Thanks Melissa! How would you compare these with the 3M radial bristle discs?
