Every writing teacher from school onwards has told you to Write What You Know, but is it actually good advice?
In this video we will dig deeper into this question and review two excellent case studies in Office Space (1999) and Clerks (1994). Both of these films were based on their creator's own real life experiences but they use an interesting technique to make their stories more compelling.
