Royal Enfield said on Wednesday it will recall close to 236,966 motorcycles across some models due to defects in the ignition coil that can cause misfiring and, in rare cases, an electric short circuit.
Royal Enfield is an iconic brand in India, the world's biggest motorbike market, with a dedicated fan-following for its range of cruisers and classic-looking motorcycles.
The recall will apply to Meteor, Classic and Bullet model motorcycles sold in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, Royal Enfield said in a statement.
The defect was discovered during routine internal testing and the issue has been isolated to specific batches of material sourced from our external supplier between December 2020 and April 2021, the company said, adding that the issue is rare and does not impact all motorcycles manufactured during the period.

Because I own 2021 gt 650 chrome colour.
I take delivery on 1st May.
Sir I purchased classic 350 in February 2021. It had right side pulling problem. I visit service center regarding issue for 3 times now. Their technician's agree that bike has right side pulling problem but they are not able to solve the issue. What should I do next. Please guide me here.

I have a RE Meteor 350.
1) Once my bike started to slow down while riding on the highway, I was at 85-90+ km/h (this only happens when you ride on low fuel). However, the console meter does not indicate any low fuel indication!!
2) I get 24-26 kmpl mileage in city riding and 27-29 kmpl mileage on highway riding.
Are these problems normal ?

The ignition coil is an important part of any vehicle. If it is faulty, such a vehicle cannot run properly. Problems like misfiring or short circuit can occur. It would be wrong to call it a minor problem. Royal Enfild called back the 350cc model, which is nothing to admire. It only shows the degraded quality of the Royal Enfield. There is no doubt that this will affect Royal Enfield's sales.👎👎

I maybe one of the lucky ones to have a bs3 std that never gave much trouble. Already done 1.25 lac kms and replaced the chain and sprocket just once. It's hard to believe but true. I have recently sent the engine for an overhaul out of pure respect for its service over the last ten years..

I am facing a problem continuously ,I have taken Standard 350 BS6 1 month back and the Relay was changed twice by service center Mechanic through road side assistance as I faced issues during the ride the vehicle stops automatically and doesn't restarts as per mechanic the Relay is shorted its done twice in a span of 45 days any permanent fix for this issue?

I think if you got the message or call from RE then only you are eligible. But for your problem, you should visit the service centre anyway if you got the message or not.

Bina kickwala 2021 bullet engine smooth rahega, lekin bullet ki real feeling aapko UCE engine mei hi milega. Bina kickwali bike mein battery down hone pe Chand taare yaad aayenge! So bro don't go for kickless bike.😊

I had face an issue, sometimes after switching on the engine switch, the pump doesn't get start... went to the service center but they couldn't find anything wrong.
Agar problem nahi mil raha hai to, model replace karne ko bolo
