Where it's written Boundary element length is minimum 2times the thickness of wall..?

Not written guidline on this... general practices and reference from design books.

@@ilustraca i haven't seen any such general practice, we provide from min length of tw but for max. We don't have such practices specifically for high rise buildings,we check stress and calculate length or area of boundary elements.sir if there is such practice done any project then will please elaborate the same.
