Me too! After finding out they're the main songwriters for their respective bands, I was outraged at how their band mates were treating them. The Kimber / Stormer collab was a musical powerhouse.
Love this song and the episode thsi is in. Did not need to know that nor have a great characters ruined just like the creator of Legend of Korra already took something sweet and well turned it into something that like this a good kids show into crap.
The singers are great but I didn't think the singers suited their normal talking voices at all. Kimber's got a very enthusiastic girly voice while Stormer's got a cute scratchy/raspy? sometimes high pitch voice. (Maybe an accent) I love their talking voices. Especially Stormer's! But I was a bit disappointed when I herd their duet. It sounds like a very mature woman. (The "I'm Okay" chorus in the background sounds more like them.) .It's a good song though and a sweet episode.
This makes me suspect that at least part of Eric's comments to Kimber were correct. She is the REAL talent. She is a better singer, she writes the material and she plays an instrument. And yes, Jem/Jerrica is probably holding her back.

Whenever I hear this song, It quickly reminds me of SPIKE & the CMC's, sometimes I wonder if they was happier around those who have better appreciation and understanding for him and their struggles instead of Ponies that don't.
TheMitigating Dunno, the eye contact in this video seems pretty lovey-dovey. I do admit, though, that not every two person friendship has the core to become romantic. Frodo and Sam had a lot more chemistry than Gimli and Legolas, for example. The latter was a rivalry that turned into friendship (like Woody and Buzz from Toy Story), and the former is one wedding short of being a married couple.
The Limp Lizards were also the musical equivalent to a wrestling jobber because they sound so bad they make the other bands sound better in comparison.
Was that a mistake at 0:54? =P Stormer sung in Kimber's singing voice and vice versa (the 2 singing voices are the same person I know, but you can tell the differences). I loved this song, not just cuz it's catchy, because it was something different. It's a shame Aja/Shana/Raya never really got a solo/duet of their own.
