I kid you not... that what’s the setup I was going to do and I’m glad you did it first so I know that it ain’t a waste of time lol
Me owning a 2011 genesis coupe and seeing this im jealous how easy you made it for yourself putting the oil filter in a much more accessible place than before just having more room in the engine bay itself seems worth it
This is what my genny needs! After i blow up this next engine i'm swapping in a LS! BK1 Life. Sick video, just subbed. You take this to ToppDrift?
i have a 2012 gene and i’m confused on,which Ls engine Would be best to swap
@@cameroncarter7665 Most common one I see is the LSx so that'll probably be your best bet
I want to get some crazy power from my genesis coupe. But i wish i could keep the foreign v6/i6 sound. Like a GTR or 2J swap. its just so expensive. Im gonna have to LS swap it I guess 0_o
My thoughts rn
Nice project.
What brand or part number you used for your gas pedal swap ??
Regards
Thanks man I'm doing a budget ls swap genisis coupe ima ganna do everything my self even wireing I'll will keep you updated after I finish my rsx type s
sounds good ! cant wait to see it
How did it go?
1+ how did it go?
Here i am thinking about k swapping a genesis coupe
That's funny I have a genesis coupe and a rsx type s too lol
sick as fuck and reasonably priced, i’m going way more expensive lmao, we’ll have to race when i get mine done
and btw i’d get the ISR headers, those are prime, and ehh priced
Damn is that a beautiful engine.thx for the info. I'm collecting all vids/info on this swap for when I'm done paying for my 2016 and can afford to dump some $$. You're also in Canada right?
mick jagger thanks man ! And yes from Ontario Canada
@@huckingdoubleflips where abouts in ontario im in the kitchener waterloo area could use some help on my ls3 swap
@@crossroads2027
How much did you pay for the ls3? And where did you get it?
@@danielchute1886 its a 5.3 not an ls3. an ls3 is between 5 and 8 grand 5.3s are alot cheaper you can get them outta pickups and vans
Just waiting on a swap kit for Hyundai Genesis sedan to come out I want a 6.0 -6.2
I doubt it ever will
I think I’m going to buy a coupe and put a iron block 5.3 in it put a cam in it and swap intakes and be happy . I don’t have the car yet so it’s all big plans but I’m looking at buying one now
Can we talk about how you did this like wiring wise I’m trying to do my bk1 ls swap and I’m a little lost
What would you need if you have a full 5.3 dropout?
Okay so I want to swap my 3.8L V6 2016 BK2 manual transmission with a 5.0L V8 from the Hyundai Genesis Sudan. Would I have to do anything differently? I’m a noob looking for help.
rear mount the radiator, fuel cell in trunk...plenty of room for an 88mm turbo.
Any info on the wiring. Or links to diagrams
Do u still have stability control working ?
Damn, that looks like an easy oil change. Oil filter upright in the engine bay.
Hey bro i am new to the kdm soc and plannin to go ls i was wonderin what do i need and how much would it cost?
Did you use the oem Oil Pan?
I wanna do a LS1 swap on my geni but I don’t want a manual, I want a 6l80e, I don’t know where to start
What ecu are you using
where did you get thececu n wiring harness ?
Which car did those stock headers come off of?
Nice vid! (Quick note) turn the car off, hard to hear you when the camera isn’t on you.
BOOSTED365 bad battery in the car, had to keep it running so it would die
Turbo it and take part in cscs. In the v8 class
Does the original gauge still work?
What trans did you use? If t56 which version? Line up right or you need some kind of adapter?
Literally said in the video
You really replied to a 2 year old comment 💀
What kind of trans is in it? You seemed unsure in the video
What kind of suspension do you have ??
How'd you tackle the CANBUS/ECU?
Contact grass roots
Did you use the stock diff?
So what's the final cost for everything, engine and all + labor? Thinking about doing this swap when my 3.8 eventually blows up. If it's less than $8k for everything, sign me the fuck up.
Found you off tik tok
stock ecu? and is it push to start?
what kind of LS engine did you use
Video starts at 4:00
What is a zed trans
Eventually I plan on doing this.
No. Alot of people don't get this car right. Apparently it's a hard platform to get done properly.
can you do it on a bk2?
Great video sounds awesome especially when you spun out near the end of the Video.
I just acquired a 2011 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 Sedan I want to do an 6.0 LS swap on my vehicle I just obtained for $3500 bucks.
Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated #mackeh or anyone else.
I'm moved from California to Dallas Texas so if anyone knows of a few great mech shops that can do this near me let me know thxs!!!
Will it work for 4.6
Korean slammer!!
Hey man what’s your ig I got some questions about your swap
Jesus the prices for the parts in the description are insane and way overpriced. Love the build though.
Is there a way to get the Oem tachometer to read?
I think its something to do with a sensor
@@tonydahollisternigga ah makes sense
Probably a canbus controlled tachometer is my guess. You’d have to get an adapter to “talk” to the cluster (specifically the rpm gauge in this case) and most likely a signal converter to convert over the 8 pulses to 4 (for 4cyl) or to 6 pulses (for v6).
At worst case you’d need both, at best case just a signal converter for the pulse conversion.
@@redbaronrefining5322 would you know how difficult is would be to put a G8BA tau 4.6L v8 from the genesis sedan r spec into a genesis coupe? I saw RMR racing made a concept during sema where they make is look OEM.
@@MJT-DA it’s honestly going to be more work than you expect. If you do ALL the labor yourself, you’d still be right around $8-10k. If you paid a shop, double that. Better off with an LS if you want a v8 platform as it’s more compact, cheaper, easier to modify and make power with, possibly lighter, and more support for wiring etc.
What’s the song name lol?
Catch me when I fall - Arc North & Sarah de Warren
bought...
Did you even watch the video? Dude did the swap himself besides the wiring bud
Bro thats a joke why under the wheel ... gotta tow to shop just for boost most pll

Sometimes I feel like these. Videos are staged and on purpose guy pissed me off right from the start , just trying to show off his Audi and Genesis coupe
