Well done. My gf and I renovated an old Avion Trailer a few years back and ended selling it nearly complete because we just couldn’t commit to the work. Congrats on the build especially with setting up all the electrical- that was the crux for me…
I'm so jealous. Always wanted to do this, even as a little girl back in the 1960's when all there was were truck campers. A real reflection on how great your relationship is to be able to work together to complete such an involved project together. I've got most of the interior components, but no truck. Now I'm not so keen on driving anymore, so I guess I need to find someone to drive it for me. Maybe I'll convert a room in my house into a tiny house just for the fun of it. I'm big on minimalism and seeing just how much power you can get with very little energy use. These RV's are showing us just how little energy it takes to survive on. Hopefully they will be models for future home building in view of our current climate emergency.
Very beautiful build.i love how spacious your tiny home is.. The safety door is a must and it has a gorgeous stain as window. Safe travels on the road...
how much height do you have underneath the bed? when its up, and how long is the bed, I'm considering doing a similar bed, your build is awesome good luck on your travels!
Beautiful home! By far my fave home on wheels I have seen! Love your finishes! I just love the whole vibe and style of it. Most I have seen have been very bright funky colors but yours is neutral, very nice. Do you guys stay in obe place or travel around? Im considering getting a tiny house but I dont know if I would stay in obe place or constantly move, I would appreciate your input. Thank you. Great vid too! I love how you too stick to showing your home and not babbling about nonsense like most utubers do!
Thanks so much for the love! We traveled around in it. Definitely recommend a tiny home on wheels versus something stationary. Much more freedom! Are you thinking of building or buying one?
Awesome built out! Currently working on my box truck conversion. Do you mind giving me a ballpark on how much the bed lift was? They don't have any pricing on their website!
Hey there! Epic!!! Let us know if we can help you in anyway. We are LOVING the box truck life :) The HappiJac was about $1,700... worth every penny though!
@@harryandlyss thanks so much and glad you're having a great time so far! That seems like it would be worth every penny. I've been looking into building one using garage door lifters but this looks way more straightforward! And after all the cost and time...
Harry and Lyss... what to tell you, guys: FAN - TAS - TI - C gorgeous simple & functional design !!! A huge free flowing space with "homy sensation" everywhere on each detail chosen by you 👏 Loved the different wood textures and colors allover the place. May the Universe bless your adventures & trails around the World ✨🙏
love it all, safety suggestion ac outlets should be turned with ground up that way no accidently shorts and your plugs near water should be eGFI type to trip at outlet if wet.
Beautiful build, but you may want to reconsider the wirenuts and solid wire/romex. Over time the solid conductor will break and wire nuts will loosen. Of course, if you're driving on highways it may not be that big of a deal. Thanks for sharing and good luck on your journey! Question: how comfortable are the front seats?
Thank you for your helpful advice! We appreciate it and will definitely take it into consideration. Highways for the most part as the vehicle isn't 4x4 so we try to keep it smooth :) The front seats are super comfortable but we want to get them upholstered because the arms are falling apart lol so that is on the to-do list!
Thanks for showing us your van. Great job. I like that Happijac lift bed. I will have a look at their website to see if I can fit one in our van. Have a great day.
Really cool build, well thought-out details (like the windows only on one side) and beautiful work. But no deep fryer, bowling ball collection or scorpion tank? LOL
Thank you! Lots of blood, sweat and tears fasho haha. Stealth went out the window as soon as we put in the windows and mural but it’s okay - it’s actually been working out pretty well and we haven’t gotten much attention!
6:48 - So let’s say you’re sleeping (real hard) at night and your cat or dog just happens to lean up against that “UP” button. Will that be the end of you ….or is there like a ‘safety stop sensor’ ???? 🤭😳
Beautiful job on “Basil”. Love everything, I think you guys thought of everything......does the air work good or not worth the trouble? Also I am in love with the stain glass window!!!!!!....beautifully decorated.......Amazing Job guys!
Thank you Kathy! The air works well but we prefer to use the vent fan as it saves energy. We probably could’ve saved $1,000 and not gotten the air conditioning but hopefully it’ll come in handy someday - maybe in Florida! We talk more about it in our new video: th-cam.com/video/ehLrd7-Cc8c/w-d-xo.html Thanks again! Our friend handmade the stained glass piece in Minnesota ☺️

Totally inspiring! You've come a long way in such a short time, Harry! Excited for ya! Also reaching out to see if there's a world where you'd be open to sharing any of your brilliance now that SignRequest isn't taking it all up ;)
Love your build would love to see a fallow up like others have posted to see if there is anything you will change.... Most change to a much larger sink sorry just have been doing research on a lot of builds for my future.
Really sweet build. Very well thought out. You really thought out your energy needs to match up with your energy system. Having a/c is amazing for a tiny mobile home. Great water capacity as well. The stained glass window is especially beautiful!
I like how you guys made a hatch to get into the car.......... I think that's one thing that is a must, at least for me, being able to hop into the driver seat and take off should there be an emergency (and you know what I mean). Those that uses a truck to trailer their RV, I don't know how they have peace of mind sleeping at night in the trailer, essentially being trapped with no means of a quick getaway. Anyway, isn't there a gap between the car itself and the actual enclosed living area..... if so, how did you go about making it work? Would have loved to see a more detailed look at it as these box trucks that comes stock don't have that kind of access, I don't think.
If you take the table top off does the bed drop lower ? With all that unused wall space above the couch cushions I would of added on big window but without it I still like what you have done ., Love Harry's lil knob >>>LOL
Yes if we take off the table, the bed drops as low as the benches. We utilized the wall space for a “national parks” push pin map and white board so no unused wall space anymore! :) We also didn’t want any windows there just because of safety reasons.
Cool, It looks awesome guys.! As you spend time living in it daily, you will probably find things that you will change, add or things you haven't thought of. It would be interesting to find out if there are things you would add, delete or design differently.
