Rob JC always shines in these interviews! Funny, clever, down to earth… I wish they’d include him more in the promotion for DA (also in the film 😡)

I absolutely love Laura Carmichael's style. Edith has become so beautiful and elegant as the character has evolved, but Laura's always been so beautiful and stylish as herself. Does anyone know the designer of the pants she's wearing in this interview? I need to buy a pair.

Laura's facial expressions are top notch. She is my favourite character. Her voice is smooth and she understands totally how to perform Edith. What a joy to watch!

    Rob is amazing as usual!
Interviewer could've done more to bring Tuppence into the conversation tho

When you see how attractive Laura Carmichael is irl it's a testament to the mua's who manage to make her look so plain in the drama itself. Testament to her too for maintaining the sour look of Edith whilst acting her part.

It’s actually just her coloring. Edwardian are not for Blondes, what’s considered as Great Beauty is Dark Hair and Pale Skin combination. The next era is more of Edith’s style, with bright flashy color and Blonde hair getting more popular.

I love Rob JC. Very funny guy. Never takes himself seriously. Always smiling. Very likable man.
I like how he takes the Mickley out of Maggie Smith but clearly doesn't mean it.
I am so bored of people sucking up to her in DA and the over top admiration. No disrespect to her,but to me she is no more important than the rest of the cast and she is just human after all 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love Rob as much as anyone and when he and Allen get together it is always a bro moment. At the same time, could they allow Tuppence to get a word in edge wise? Laura chimes in but only because she is more assertive. Even the host overlooked Tuppence and I have to ask..why was she even there? I would have like to hear her say something.

Despite famously playing a gay role in downton, somehow he will perfectly fit the role of a straight male action spy that is playful with the ladies. Yes, I'm talking about Rob as James Bond. He is tall 1.87m or 6'2" also has a suitable bondish actor name like "Connery" "Moore" "Dalton" "Brosnan" "Craig" , Rob-James "Collier" how perfect.

      @eve7896 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Yes, I agree completely. And I think he would be perfect for bringing back the humor and subtlety to Bond's character. I have nothing against Craig, but his tough and serious version of Bond was already tiresome to me (after a while it was like seeing some random action hero with more muscles than brain - it stopped being so special).
I miss the more lighthearted, intelligent and funny portrayal of Bond - the one that Moore and Brosnan were famous for. Collier would be amazing in this kind of character.

@@eve7896 I agree the first one Casino royale was only his best bond role that is in line with the james bond character. After that it all goes down to serious action. It's like watching john wick. Also don't forget the original Sean Connery role he was always playful and bantering to the ladies.

Why was the actress dressed in black even there ?....
      the presenter absolutely snubbed her....
At one point Allan Leech looked quickly over & said
“you are free to jump in if you want” because he could see that the interviewer was leaving her out.

I read through the list of actors, and note the characters of the Dowager Countess and Mrs. Hughes don't seem to be in the movie, alas. Nor Mary's husband, or Edith's?? (Can't remember actors' names.) Maybe they just don't rate inclusion in the "stars" list?

What if you die today will you go to heaven? Have you ever lied, stolen used God's name as a curse word (O-M-G)? According to God's law, you're guilty, ignorance will not be an excuse... But wait, God loves you, he made a way out. God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him will not die but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Please think about your eternal life, believe and repent, even after rapture you can be saved. Love Y'all

Really bad. Writer clearly out of ideas, even stooping to stealing one big one from Singing in the Rain. Cold and emotionless too, designed to just quickly wrap up as many plot lines as possible. Downton goes out with a whimper.
