Half of the jokes in these movies are just future Jerma bits we haven't seen yet.
No, he already DID the gorilla bit in The Movies stream
Iconic 1930’s actor watches his films with zoomer audience to show how good it was back in the day.
next time jerma watches public domain movies he's going to rent out an entire theater just for himself
And he'll still refuse to have a facecam
must be pretty cheap to do so at this point
Jerma slowly morphs into Howard Huges
Mst3k
He's still going to have to argue with chat about putting his face in the corner
this is like when youre a kid and youre watching an old movie with your grampa and hes constantly commenting on whats going on
I'm convinced that half of Jerma's sense of humor is spliced from 30's comedy and the other half is from MST3K.
@Chr1stown MST3K stands for Mystery Science Theater 300 and it was a show from a while back where they'd play bad and cheap to license movies/public domain movies and riff on them for fun. Usually done by a guy and his robot puppet buddies
Was gonna comment just this, he'd really be a perfect fit for the show
That one person took his Three Stooges Fortnite joke so personally
4:07 Holy Shit, I knew Bela Lugosi’s career tanked after Dracula, but I never expected him to be in a dumbass movie about a gorilla lmao
How is this comment about the Gorilla and not about Plan 9 From Outer Space
@@tinman3747 what are you talking about? That’s peak Lugosi
Fun fact: Bella Lugosi died during the making of this stream. When you see some guy hiding his face with a cape, that's actually Jerma finishing his scenes.
RIP Bela Lugosi jermaPluto
Good joke
I know this is a year late, but this is the best youtube comment of 2020.
hilarious, but didn't Bela Lugosi die in 1956? the guy was born in the 1880s lmao. the idea of him living to 2020 is even more mind-boggling
@@way2dead4u he did die during the filming of the movie and was actually replaced by a double. The joke was that the movie was performed life and jerma was the double
I heard somewhere that the one detective in Plan 9 intentionally was being unsafe with the gun to see if Ed Wood would call him out on it. That's why he keeps pointing it in everyone's faces and scratching himself with it. Some of the other actors have small reactions to it but they don't say anything so I'm assuming they would've been in on the joke.
Or maybe they were just doing their jobs as actors and staying in character
Dabbing on a legendary B-movie director makes the movie even better.
@@jasonjean5333 in scene, yeah. I meant they apparently didn't confront him on set.
@@Zorro9129 "cut, print perfect. a man of his weight would have trouble getting out of the hole"

Meanwhile, the aliens that were looking at the scene were saying stuff like
"How is he not getting hit Pog"

There's an alternate universe where all the movies Jerma made in The Movies are real and some streamer is watching them because they're public domain.
i feel like that's exactly what we're watching
Can't wait to scroll down in the comments and get four times my USRDA of jokes pertaining to Jack's editing speed
Oh god, it's one of those ubiquitous phrases each TH-cam channelgets assigned
Huh, so this is what Mystery Science Theater 1000 was like.
Mystery science theater 1000, the much maligned prequel show to mst3k
@@mobius273 yeah that was the jokr
"i hired 3 comedy dickheads" fucking gets me every time
jerma HATES the three stooges
The Gorilla film is literally the one that Jerma made wtf
Mystery Rat Theater 5'4"
Sometimes I get jealous of Jerma and his ability to laugh at anything, I feel like a sour asshole.
Literally every time he laughs at car accidents. Weird to be jealous of that but I really am, it's just cars going really fast? what's mega comedy?
Goodbye Jump King save, killed by box wine.
"Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow."
Oh my gaaaaHD
I love that Jerma sees a jug as an instrument first and foremost
31:55 Jeremy makes TIE fighter noise
almost crying at how perfectly this captures how chaotic jerma and his streams are
this is a highlight reel from an alternate reality where jerma was allowed to do a guest riff at Rifftrax
I had a vhs of Santa conquers the martians during my childhood, and having jerma skip through that fever dream just made my day.
I watched it during middle school. It sucks!😂
Kissing expert talks over majority of dialogue in scene and is flabbergasted when he doesn't understand what the actors are talking about
To be fair, the dialouge in Plan 9 doesn't make much sense in the first place.
Was the chick talking about masturbation when lonely? I almost got the same reaction as Jerma lol
When he said, "Hello My Honey". I thought he was about to break into that cartoon frog song.
Back when Army of Two came out...
That first movie could be the prequel/sequel to jerma's gorilla movie
RIP Bela Lugosi, who died during the stream
F :(
she was my favourite celebrity i remember my dad and i used to watch her stuff
@@suggestiveguy you don't know who he is do you
@@Tewaffles yes...that was the joke
She was my favorite actor, you really see how her performances influence Jerma.
@@suggestiveguy i just got reddit r/whooshed
This was probably a significant portion of the audience's first experience with older movies.
Thankfully I'm one of a handful of zoomers who has a huge collection of Hollywood movies from back when they were good.
By the amount of people who requested Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, I truly doubt it it was that big of a majority. I'm glad some got exposed to it. Jerma will never watch Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis on stream though, which is a shame.
No one is safe, not even JackEdit 20:40
Honestly if Jerma did a MST3K situation and just watched entire shitty movies regularly with commentary I would never miss a single one, I’d watch them religiously
so basically 30's movies were literally just theater plays but on camera? dude, sounds golden
Sometimes the funniest part of a Jerma bit is listening to Jerma giggling to himself in the background. Like, the added sound effects on the leach movie were fucking hilarious, but I laughed even harder hearing Jerma laughing at it too
Jerma985 meets MST3K is the groundbreaking mashup I never knew I wanted.
Mystery Jerma Theatre 985
Actually SURPRISINGLY right Jerma. DON'T fuckin scratch your neck with a revolver
Holy fuck he nailed the Tie Fighter scream at 31:52

Gahhhd, attack of the giants leeches is terrible, I’ve seen it way more times than I should.. literally watched it on the crappy local sci-fi channel, mtsk 3000, and svenghoolie.. and now a Jerma highlight stream.. it never gets better
THE WORK ETHIC IS UNREAL GOOD STUFF MY GUY MAN

I actually laughed when Curly uppercut the guy and he ascended, then they cut to the ceiling fan... that's just good stuff.

"I have a line going down from my belly button to my um, prenis. Besides that nothin." - Jerma985, 2020
11:40 no but for real, why is that higher quality picture there? It looks better than the rest of the scene, did someone after production add it there with good ol' movie magic and forget to add it to every other scene? What was the point?
I don't know, but I do know that Bela Lugosi actually died during the filming of this movie, so some scenes are a different actor guy.
Its cause the footage was filmed before the rest of the movie. Ed wood, the director, had footage of him and promoted plan 9 from outer space as bela lugosi's last film. He died before the movie was made.
That's absolutely insane. Did you know that Bela Lugosi also died halfway to production of Plan 9 and that's why the vampire sometimes covers his face?
@@dopomaximus7083 Im fairly certain he died before production started. The guy who keeps covering his face is Ed Wood's wife chiropractor.
@@dopomaximus7083 I highly reccomend the film Ed Wood starring a young Johnny Depp, its a mostly true look at the man's life.
From now on if I ever kiss someone I'm gonna say "god I wish that was me"
2:22 I keep rewatching that it's gold
man... when are we gonna get jerma in mystery science theater
Damn, I was really hoping he'd watch a Charlie Chaplin or Buster Keaton.
31:55-31:59
TIE-fighters be like.
5:10 gotta be the funniest part with the statue.
A Rifftrax with Jerma can't be far off.
While he is laughing in the 30s, I'm running in the 90s.
8:15 the entire us military was in fact pretending
Local devious streamer plays public domain movies to supplement content
Local pirate streamer breaks copyright law, claims it's free use
6:00 Seaman was in the movie Pog
You don't know how much these videos mean to me, thanks for editing them so fast!
Knowing a bit about Ed Wood and how low budget, low experience, and low skill his films were, makes Jerma’s reaction to Plan 9 from Outer Space just *that* much funnier
This was a great stream; I know jerma always likes to keep things fresh, but I hope we get another one of these in the near future.
