Hi blessing Raquel from Puerto Rico starting using resin about the mosaic pieces how did you cut them or can i buy them already cut please let me know as soon as possible need to make a pendent for my granddaughter I love all your video you are a great teacher thank you for your videos
Hi Raquel, good question! These resin sheets that Becky makes for her mosaic technique are pretty easy to cut, you can use a strong pair of scissors (Which is what Becky recommends) or I bet even a box cutter would work if you're able to press down strongly. Many different kinds of blade will work to cut them, they're pretty thin. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who's selling them pre-cut into shape though, sorry. Hope this is helpful!
Starting to following you since yesterday and I love your work, recycling is awesome how you turn it in a different but beautiful art, gave great ideas
Thanks Mayra, glad to have you watching! If you're new to working with resin check out our Resin 101 page, we've put together a lot of our free resources there: beadaholique.com/blogs/techniques-guides/resin-101-tips-and-tricks-for-creating-resin-mixed-media-jewelry
When I work with tape and the open back bezels, I leave the sides long and instead of cutting it close to the bezel, I fold the tape over close to the bezel. This way the sides are not as long and now the stickiness is for the most part gone and I can easily move the bezel around.
Hi, this tutorial is amazing. May have to try this soon. I am really struggling with stikiness at the back of my resin when i remove the dam tape. Ive tried alcohol, oil , nail polish remover. I heard you say something about goo gone? I will order that and see. Thanks.
I'm not sure which chains were used in the video but I assume they were Nunn Design chains. We don't stock anything in similar to those right now but you can see the other Nunn Design chains were carry here: beadaholique.com/collections/nunn-design?_=pf&pf_t_product_type=0-Product-Type%3AAll%20Chain

That's really cool. :) I don't cut off my excess tape on all sides. I put some paper on the extra bits and use that to move it around. :) I am going to have to try this as I have quite a bit of resin remnants. :P - Heidi
Regrettably, there is not a good method of removing over-poured resin. We recommend using just a dab at a time with small applicator like a popsicle stick to help apply the resin neatly and accurately.
If you will cut of smaller pieces of the tape then you don't have to cut off so much excess as you always have to do :)) Or at least don't waste those excess pieces, you can stick them to the edges of the base tape or simply fold the excess on the edges and then you can easily rotate your art work without worry that your fingers will stick to the tape.
Maravillosa técnica!!⚘❤😊....gracias por tu generosidad 🙏
Thanks Paulina!

Yes, you can either mix sparkling glitter into resin just as it's starting to harden, or you can glue glitter onto a dried piece of resin

How cool is that! Really like the purple pendant. It really looks like glass strips. TFS!
Fantastic idea! Really
I watched a video that showed if the piece is sticky after removing packing tape, use WD40. to remove.

That's a good tip Kim, thanks!

Hello Ma'am...Your work is too neat & amazing. May I know what kind of resin needs to be used for a beginner to make jewelery.
Thank you Ma'am.

How do you attach a chain to the fixed ring on the bezel?
We have a tutorial on a project similar to this one available here: beadaholique.com/products/retired-dancing-dragonflies-pendant-necklace
Thanks for the thorough explaining!!! Excellent!!!
Thank you!!
Beautiful i thought as well. Thanks for sharing. maybe next time use contrasting papers so that we may see better. love your tutorial. great ideas!
These are so beautiful and organic looking. Take some of that excess tape you cut off and tape he piece down to the cardio you have no sliding.
Great stuff. enjoyed watching your video. Have you tried using UV resin? If yes, can you share your experience. Thankyou.

What gauge is the wire for these open frame loops?
They're approximately 2mm thick, so closest to 12 gauge.
How did you get color in the resin pieces
You add... color.... to the.... resin....
We have another video from a few years back showing how to add color to resin: th-cam.com/video/_NSf2wdvzFQ/w-d-xo.html
Lovely
how do you get resin off the edges of the bezel if you over-pour the resin?
Regrettably, there is not a good method of removing over-poured resin. We recommend using just a dab at a time with small applicator like a popsicle stick to help apply the resin neatly and accurately.
I dont have any idea that colorless liquid she is putting, anyone tell me what is it? Thanks!
Is resin 😉

Could you get any more "uhs" and "ums" into this video?
