Hey guys! Quick video for you today, this is just some footage I found from our trip to Los Angeles in 2019! As we're pretty much locked to local roads right now I thought it was fitting we brought it back to a time we were allowed to cross the border into California. I hope you enjoy Bob Pham's 1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo as much as I did, it was an absolute privilege to drive a (almost) bone stock USDM 1995 MR2 Turbo on the street of California! As many of you probably know, 1995 was the last year Toyota sold the MR2 in the North American market. While production continued in Japan until '99, the values of the rare and sought after LHD 1995 Turbo models have continued to rise over the years. Enjoy!

This was a great video. I remember selling these when they where new in NJ. A lot of them had Toyota's System 10 sound system too. I love these cars.

Get the scion Frs or brz and get coilovers with bigger rims a exhaust of muffler delete. You got urself a toyota sports car that sounds like a wrx and handles like a Z
I have a 91 N/A with over 300k miles but it needs a rebuild, I haven't driven it for over 10 years, I had a few people willing to buy it for $5,000 but I don't want to sell it lol
i bought the first MR2 in September of 1990 and still driving it and off course with cruise control.

I've owned over 20 cars from BMW M to Nissan N12 and nothing has come close to my SW20 for fun/involvement and regret of selling.
I agree... I currently own a 135i e82... Small nimble.. I've owned RX8, Fiero [ v6 ], 240z, 280zx, Honda F3 '98, Honda RC30, '91 NA mr2, '88 supercharged mr2, '91 v6 mr2 [ 1mz ], FR-S.... I was looking for a new car... I had over 100k I could budget for... Nothing appealed to me... 8 months of searching... I just bought a '94 turbo mr2... I'm never selling it.

Interesting that he wants to sell both of the '95 turbo's. Thats a bad move, he should sell the ONE '95 turbo thats a lil less pretty.. then hang on to the other '95 for as long as possible. That car can be worth $50,000-100,000 in 5 years.

i never drove a 4th gen supra, but i heard the mr2 has feels and drives more solid and well built...i always just asumed it was the same quality feel just bigger....can someone set this straight for me?
The mr2 chassis is raw and super stiff, engine is very strong, gearbox is tight as. Mod one mildy and you will never want to own anything else.

I own a USDM 1991 mr2 turbo t-top. I'm 6'2" 220 and I fit no issue in the car, tops off are a major fun factor. Don't question the car, get it. They are so rare and will soon jump up in price again.
