      This service is conducted by a business, where is the incentive for the business to contribute to any form of UBI? Machinery isn't bad for humans or businesses, but let's not act as if UBI is an actual universal solution. @connorgrynol9021

    • @connorgrynol9021
      @connorgrynol9021 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@jameslcowan see, here’s the thing, and your response makes it clear you don’t see the problem: businesses are not necessary. Your comment makes it seem like the existence of a business is self evident but that simply is not the case. Developing countries can industrialize without the implementation of industry, counterintuitive though it may be.
      The simple fact is businesses are actually parasitic towards people. A business, as an entity, must see human beings as resources instead of… well… people. The value of humans is determined by how much they can spend or how hard they can work and for how cheaply they can work for. With profit being the sole motive, businesses will proceed to drain resources (including people) as much as possible while attempting to hoard as much wealth as possible.
      You ask where the incentive is for businesses to provide people with basic needs. There isn’t one. We are nothing more than a tools to them. Hence businesses are parasitic. The transactional nature of businesses create the illusion of symbiosis, but in every transaction, a business will always get a little more than they give. And it builds up until people have nothing left to trade and businesses consequently have nothing left to offer.

    • @jameslcowan
      @jameslcowan 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @connorgrynol9021 We're not going to see eye to eye on this and I accept that going in.
      I'm a business owner, I own a few. Every person I started with made more money and acquired more opportunities through hard work. The 'technological revolution' that has supposedly threatened employment has been ever-present. To generalize all businesses as being parasitic is narrow-minded but I empathize with your cynicism.
      I've seen what providing undeserved income to communities has done to my people (black people), living off of the government, and being a slave to regulation is by no means a way to secure longevity or a higher quality of life for human beings.
      Although I find your viewpoint to be hopeless, I find it idealistic of you to create fictional scenarios where the dismantling of the capitalistic structure of humanity (not just the US) would be to our benefit. Whenever I encounter individuals with a perspective such as yourself, they just come across as entitled and/or lazy. People tend to be parasitic by nature, I mean look at you, you're demanding everyone should get something for free so your life could be easier without the expense of any burden placed upon you.

      I usually only buy incense produced in India, I can tell by the material and writing on the box. They are actually pretty crumbly and have to carefully pull them out the box. They also have a very pure & pleasant smell, compared to others made in other places that tend to be rock solid glued on the sticks and have a burnt paper smell to them.

      @@dafnesaenz1617 - I'll try those from India then. It is hard to find good incense at a decent price.

    Instead of saying flower waste you should respectfully call it used flowers.
    They are an offering to our deity. but does not mean they become "waste" after they lose the freshness.

      It's waste, stop. This type of thinking is why India has so much waste and trash in the country because y'all don't look at it as. Waste.

    Touching neat essential oils with your skin can cause a very sore rash depending on what oil it is, and so is highly recommended to dilute pure essential oils before touching the skin. I wonder how the incense is dipped and rolled in these essential oils safely without the workers getting tlthe pure oil on their skin and getting sore?

      It depends on cost of living in that location.
      Example: Birmingham is cheaper than london. Wages vary between these 2 cities

      yeah but i do worry about the essential oils, they can be really harsh on skin and prolonged exposure can make you develop allergies :/ it's good they're wearing masks but id like to see them in gloves!!
      but i agree these ladies probably smell amazing all the time
