I was completly forget this song from Jeanne Mass, when i was child i not like so much her gothic style but now i realize that she really a beautifull girl :)

Thank you for your enthusiasm, you wake up our ears on certain titles that we did not listen to like this ! :) You should also listen to her 3rd hit in 1985 "Coeur en Stéréo" which was produced by Daniel Balavoine, they were good friends (you will recognize the musical style).
To be precise, Jeanne is a French singer-songwriter. Born in Spain, she grew up in France. After her studies, she lived for a few years in Italy where she started singing in a punk rock group, touring commercials and in some films. She returned to France to begin her singing career with "Toute première fois" which was a great success in 1984. Her first two albums "Jeanne Mas" (1984) and "Femmes d'aujourd'hui" (1986) contain her greatest successes. Then she wrote and composed many other albums but which did not have the same success. Today, she lives in Arizona in the United States. She often returns to France where her children live and to give concerts because she has kept a loyal following. Salutations de Paris !
Oh! I love this song a lot of childhood memories, so happy you are in love with this song too! Jeanne has a lot of incredible live performances, she's so dynamic. About R.Mussumara she told in her autobiography that he was so disrespectful to her saying she has no talent for years... that's why she left him after. But remember she kept that private for 30 years.

This song peaked n°3 in the french charts in 198. it is extracted from the same album as "en rouge et noir" , it was the 3rd single from it. Please react to the song "l'Enfant" translation in english "The child" it was the second single from this album in 1986 Femme d'aujourd'hui . The song peaked n° 2 in 1986 -1987 . As to the album it sold more than 1 million copies at the time! Enjoy your videos with the same pleasure each time . Happy you like her cause she is one of my favourite artist still today even if the success left her in 1990 she 's continuing singing ...she is a tough woman....

The song has peaked at n°3 in France and sold more than 350.000 units in 1987. She's writing the lyrics of her songs and so "Sauvez-moi" too. Here, this remixed version is from Thierry Durbet / Dominique Blanc-Francard . An other version exist on "Femmes d'aujourd'hui" her second album and she's arranged by italian team (Romano Musumarra, Roberto Zaneli).

@@Fed47 tout à fait d'accord ! je suis grand fan de Mylène, et je ne rate aucun rendez-vous de Derek du Jeudi ! Mais si je devais retenir une autre chanteuse française, en deuxième position ce serait Jeanne Mas.
@@Fed47 elle sait fait oublier nuances. Elle n'a pas voulu jouer le jeu jusqu'au bout. Elle a fait 2 enfants .elle vit en arizona depuis 20 ans. Donc oui on ne peut comparer une qui a tout sacrifié pour sa carrière. Et une autre qui à préférer faire 2 enfants et vivre paisiblement. J'avoue que j'aurais bien-aimé qu'elle continue avec des majors. Elle aurait eu des moyens mais bon son choix d'être libre au dépend de sa carrière la regarde 😉😉
@@damerouge1 Elle n'a pas arrêté sa carrière par décision. Elle cartonnait jusqu' à l'album "Les crises de l'âme" en 1989. L'album avait bien démarré malgré la séparation d'avec Romano Musumarra qui l'avait propulsée en haut du podium. Jeanne avait même devancé Mylène de peu pour devenir la 1ere artiste française à se produire à Bercy . Et d'un seul coup tout s'est arrêté, tournée après Bercy annulée !
Entretemps Il y a eu cette histoire de lettre adressé au président de la République de l'époque François Mitterrand, dans laquelle elle demande des peines plus sévères contre les délinquants à caractère sexuel sur les enfants. (On peut supposer que cela n'a pas du plaire au PS)
Ensuite Jeanne est tombée dans les oubliettes des médias, et ensuite du public. Elle a continué à produire des albums, des singles sans jamais retrouver le succès qui était le siens ! Un mystère absolu d'une destiné pourtant promise à la longévité et avortée brutalement...

This is one of these songs about toxical relations where a violent man controls the life of a woman who's too afraid to leave him, alternating between caresses for forgiveness, throws (the very first verse of the song) and stragulations close to assassination, probably relating to actual past events. The video is purposedly quite misleading with it's cheesy staging.
In her other song "les Marilyn" (referenced here, by the way) she also say "we're adored, we're assassinated".

il y a juste un truc que tu n'as pas l'air d'avoir saisie dans cette video qui est paradoxale dans le clip ou en fait elle parle d un homme auquelle elle est ou sous influence comme une femme battu, violence conjugale en gros l'opposé du clip qui est humoristique son texte est bien plus profond

I have been collecting this European type of music since the early 80’s on 12” singles and yes Jeanne Mas is on fire and has the best videos , so sensual and sexual , she is a smokin machine when she sings and dances , her first 2 albums produced by Romano Musumarro are the best .

Il aime sa bande de cons surtout qui fait s aloi, impose leurs choix (attention c'est les MEILLEURS!). Tu l'as vu avec Joe L'Assassin y'a pas si longtemps! Ils aiment que le KITSCH! Et là on se tape du Polnareff encore une semaine après! Il en fait pas autant pour les autres chanteurs, bien meilleur! Encore un chanteur vieux et rococo comme ils aiment! C'est comme cette couille de Lylou Falonn va voir elle se prend pas pour n'importe qui, se la pète cette meuf. Depuis, elle s'est fait "ami ami" avec tout une bande devenue ses sbires qui la suivent comme un toutou! Bref un troupeau de moutons encore une fois ces gens là! ils ont tous les mêmes préférences si tu lis bien. Leur goûts sont toujours les meilleurs, pas ceux des autres! qui fait son COMMANDANT ici avec tous les jours des chanteurs rien que pour eux? Ils doivent faire partie d'une maison de retraites ou certains ont des goûts de 80 ans dans leurs têtes! Pathétique ces gens là! 😅😅🤣
