I'm a big fan of this car. Sat in one at a Porsche popup shop in my local town (Brighton) and have to agree, the interior quality is next level 👍🏻😍

the rear end is ridiculously ugly, and obviously these "suv coupes" are a good for nothing type of car, however your video is awesome as always.

I love this color too! Actually painted a whole room in a color very similar to this when I was younger. Another color I really like is light blue, like the focus RS / Gulf livery. Houndstooth is pretty choice as well. Oh, and about that spoiler, it helps reducing lift with vehicle of that shape in the back, apparently.
Well, I wouldn't buy this in orange! lol But am loving that delicious sounding V8. It's the proper engine for a vehicle of this size (either that or a diesel). Personally, I'd buy the V8 not to go racing with but because it just lends itself to a more luxurious power delivery. But I think this does have more personality and character than a Panamera. Great film as always Luke!

@@carswithluke I was thinking quite the opposite. A "sleeper". Square up next to someone in a Mustang, a 996, or even a C6 vette at a stoplight and blow their doors off.

Great review, and the sound from the exhaust is perfection.
This car is the absolute most ridiculous car Porsche put out in a long time. Its much more expensive than a normal Cayenne and is actually slower! And why? Because of aerodynamics! Wtf if you make a coupe, make it more slippery! And the fucking carbon costs 14k more just because it safes about 20kg.
4:41 actually the spoiler doesnt do something really. The angle of the roof is too steep for wind to stay laminar. Maybe it does give you a 5 kg at 200kph but i doubt it even makes up for the weight.
Yeah you’re probably right, i just assumed for sure it does something as it looks so stupid in my opinion they wouldn’t have made it for looks
LeoKal there is another spoiler on top of the roof which directs the air onto the 2nd spoiler.
@@janh1186 But this spoiler isnt on every Cayenne coupe and i think even in this case it is reducing drag maybe a little bit but not doing so much with downforce.

Luke you should do a comparison video between the turbo and turbo S e hybrid cayenne. It could either be coupe vs coupe or normal Cayenne vs Cayenne or even a mix and match

The rear spoiler can only be put to "service" position manually. It comes out more at a certain speed, but you are no longer able to manually extend it to the maximum.
That color with carbon fiber parts.. Oh god, BEAUTIFUL!

If the original Cayenne didn't have the spoiler on the roof, it would look close to this anyway, but without any of the disadvantages.

I'd pick the Panamera over the Cayenne because the seats are much more comfortable, not saying that the Cayenne's are not comfortable but Panamera is more of an executive limo

Best looking Coupe SUV hands down its sick. The "lightweight package" on a vehicle like this is pointless though IMHO, I'd go for the panoramic sunroof even if it slows down my quarter mile times by a hair in my daily experiences of racing against Lambos.

The last few versions of panameras and cayennes age horribly. They look absolutely 5 years older than their real age.
Porsche needs to take things to the next level with the fittings on the body. The gaps are just too wide where doors, boot and bonnet meet the frame. Have another look!

I think that's a good spec, and I have the Turbo. The S allows you to maximize all the options for the same cost, while still just being slightly slower. Not a big deal, and many people will add a GT3.
@@SharkBoy87 that was my feeling when buying and i dont regret it. It performs amazingly for the price, even though i would get the GTS coupe now. But hey maybe i will add a GT3 to the Cayenne, that would be my dream. Nice ride!
