or, you can wear the flipflop first, then put the correct toes between toes on outside

In both cases of these flip flops, once the Correct Toes are in place, you can see the baby toe would be OFF the sole of the flip flop.
So neither of these shoes is actually wide enough to use the Correct Toes. This video should be replaced with a video showing a wide enough flip flop with a caution about being wide enough.

I read the feedback on correct toes and people say they're good, but they only last for 6 months, then you have to replace them again for another 60 bucks.

Correct Toes lifespan varies greatly depending on the user--we just had someone stop by the office who has been using their pair for 8 years!

Cheap, flimsy flip flops aren't worth it. They bend too easily and one can fail. Invest in good flip flops. They last for years and they're sturdy.

Why the fluck do we need a little plastic thing to hold our toes in place?

@@crand20033 You're wearing the wrong flip flops. Spend a little money on Rainbow, Reef, Teva, Olukai, Vionic, Island Slipper, Scott Hawaii, maybe even FitFlops. They have soft nylon fabric toe posts.

That is crazy to be wearing cheap shower shoes/flip flops if you have foot issues. Get some plastic Birkenstocks and never ever go barefoot; not even in the shower. Get Etonic shoes (designed by a podiatrist) or Birkenstocks (which come in many styles including boots now.) Use toe spreaders in good shoes if you still need them.

Birkenstocks are awful. The amount of arch "support" they have is guaranteed to atrophy the muscles of your arch and fuck up your feet.

Birkenstocks are bad in support department. Get Xero zero-drop sandals if you care about your feet.

There are much better minimalist sandal options for healthier feet made by Luna or Xero and other minimalist shoe companies. Flip flops are not good for your feet because you have to clamp them with your toes to keep them on and they make you walk unnaturally and that creates imbalances in your feet. Birkenstocks aren't a good option either because they have no ground feel or flexibility to allow natural foot movement and they have arch supports which are known to weaken your feet.

Never ever go barefoot? Awful advice. Stop using shoes as crutches and strengthen your feet.
