  • Boat and beach fishing tips for beginners. In this mashup episode Graeme films another of Tommo's special boat fishing baits, and it's one that can be bought from the frozen section of the Iceland supermarket. Then while checking out some mullet he comes across a cormorant with a big appetite! Then it's off for a few hours fishing on a Southern beach, and finally it's back to the Totally Awesome base where he has to replace some broken rod rings on one of his Beach rods. Plenty of tips for everyone. Hope you enjoy!

Evening all. Got to say a thanks to totally awesome. Have seen the simple two hook short snood made by yourself. Thought I'd give it a go. Got the hang of those knots gave good stand off. Tied on 8 inch hook length. First time using rag . First cast after 5 minutes my first small bass. Followed by his big brother hour later,. Two good sized plaice and about ten whiting. Unbelievable. Will be making a few more. Many thanks. Massive help to us older new to beach fishing. Stay safe

@@TAFishing yes definitely. Nearly 60 and like a schoolboy pulling that first bass out of the sea. First cast, met new bloke at the beach and within 5 mins out came the bass. He informed me wasn't good fishing etiquette to catch that fast lol lol. And the second showed me what a real bite looks like. Very grateful, excellent channel. The dry humour cracks me up Stay safe mate

As always Graeme packs his videos with interesting hints, tips and in this case diverse material. The highlight for me was the Cormorant swallowing the eel, then we had the super polite Tommo showing us how to make cocktail baits. Graeme on the beach with more tips followed by rod repairs made simple. Shame you did not catch because your fishing on the beach videos are so good, lets hope you strike it big next time. Thanks for posting.

Nice tip from Tommo, Graeme, always good to see him on TAF. Great footage of the Cormorant! And well done with the Rod ring replacement - I've got to replace a tip ring on a small spinning rod before I donate it to my Grandson! Thanks for the uploads - Stay safe & well.

Totally awesome rod fixing segment. I do my tip the same as you ( except I have to use a candle or gas cooker in the shed my wife won't let the rods inside), but I was very interested in the intermediate ring more specifically how you whipped it, but you didn't show that bit. I've had a go at doing it myself once it's still holding just not very pretty. Maybe a subject for another video

The thing is that TH-cam is Worldwide,we have a large audience from different parts of the globe so there is no way to put license details and permit info in a film. Plus they would soon be out of date when prices change. Whichever country is watching it is probably best to contact your own local tackle shop. Every country has different rules.
