i think balance is what's most important. the DC area is filled with people who are 'live your passion' people (which me too) but I realized by watching my older peers that if you are not careful you will miss out on life and prioritize only the work. I've seen people sacrifice relationships, families, friends, and just all things that make life enjoyable for their work and honestly, I realized that it's not for me. I love going hard and loving what I do, but when my OOO message is on, I will not be responding. Boundaries are very important too.

I'm in my 50s and I can honestly say that I've never had a job doing something I loved. That being said, I enjoy my time away from work. I will say that it would be nice to spend the rest of my working years doing something that brought me joy.

Girl I was having a ton of wrist pain, and I switched to an ergonomic keyboard and mouse and it solved my problem. My job had even sent me to physical therapy at some point but the pain didn’t go away until they got me the Microsoft Sculpt set, highly recommend!! Especially the mouse 🐭

I'm a writer and I have a lot of wrist pain because of the mouse. I had to see my Dr about it because it's evolved into tenosynovitis If you use one, try using your other hand for a while. There are also some specific stretches you can do to help alleviate some of the pain. Icing on and off helps too.

Jenna, I had wrist pain that was actually referred pain from neck/shoulder posture issues. Check your ergonomics and take care! Too much time at my desk was my issue!

Ugh we have been sick with Covid for over a week now, but we have been drinking homemade fruit and vegetable juices made with a juicer, so all super fresh, and Elderberry tea which helps heal the lungs. The fatigue with this is unreal! I've still been working though, I can manage sitting in front of a computer lol.

The jump rope is literally amazing 😭 abs the glasses adorable!! Ugh. I would say it could definitely fit more monitors, I went back and forth but decided to keep with one just because I’ve been going into the office at least half the week!
