Wow, I love it all! I especially appreciate how you displayed things in separate collections like that. It’s hard to pick, but I think my favourites were the boxes of ornament hooks. And, no sweeter words are spoken than “this shelf has room for more”!

Watching this video was a real treat on this very cold and windy morning! Your Christmas displays are fantastic! Not only do you have tons of vintage Christmas items, they are all nicely displayed in little groupings throughout the rooms. Thank you for taking the time to take us through the displays slowly so that we could see every treasure and it was also nice of you to include information, as you took us on the tour, such as where the item came from, whether it was a family heirloom, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Just to let you know… I bought the 2 Shiny Bright books you recommended on a past video. Awesome books, especially the bigger book. It was the history of Christmas ornaments and the people who made it happen.

I'm glad you found some good books. I'm not sure I recommended them, although I have discovered that Jody Pritzl has written some good ones, so maybe I did mention them. My video about Shiny Brights was mostly me floundering through some websites searching for enlightenment. :-)

I hate to admit it but i would tried to save lost santa... :)
He is still sitting on the TV stand where I left him, lol. I haven't been able to bring myself to pitch him either. I don't think he can be saved, though. I can't put him back in the box with my other stuff.
@@MimisTreasureCottage Understandable. Basically, he'd probably have to be stripped of all the trim, beads pins and sequins, and handwashed to peel off the flocking. i'm not sure if his face plate is removable or if it was factory attached. once the flocking was removed, he could probably be retrimmed with other materials. This should tell you I've overthought this-it would be a lot of work for something so small. :)
