Fabulous collection and very nicely displayed. I was born in 1955 so all of these items were part of my childhood. Like you, when I collect something, each piece does not have to be perfect. I would rather have an example that has "a bit of character" than not at all. I will still enjoy it! Thank you for sharing your collection... very nice video!

I started my holt Howard collection in the 1990s..mostly starry eyed..pieces where a few dollars in those days…4 dollars for those salt and pepper pieces..I can’t believe how they have gone up in value..

Wow, you have put together a fantastic collectionin a very short! I have a very large collection of 50's and 60's Christmas ceramics also, but I have been collecting for many years. I have a lot of the pieces you have but I am jealous of your starry eyed Santas from Holt Howard. Yes, there is a green set of those poodles. I found the laying down green pair many years ago but just found the standing up poodles last month on ebay for only ten dollars. I couldn't hit buy it now fast enough! I will be putting some of your pieces on my ebay search lists because they are some that I have never seen before. Thank you for sharing your wonderful collection and have a very Merry Christmas!

I think I'm someone who likes to find whatever I can and as I come across better quality or minty pieces I'll switch them out. My favorite are the odd ones like the sailer or rocket pieces. I love your collection! It is amazing. I also collect ceramics as you do but my collection is comprised of lady head vases. I recently found two Christmas vases. Like you, I just love all the wonderful details. They certainly do not make things like they used to. Thank you for sharing your treasures!! 😊😊

What a great collection! I wouldn't use Dawn or water on any of those pieces with cold paint. The cold paint will just slide right off.

The angels (candle holders ) that are where you said one had a repair . I have that set and they have snowflake rings that fit on top of the candle . I will send a picture

I have the snowman candelabra! One of my last great scores before prices for vintage went up at the thrifts.

I've got the little Noel Holt Howard elves & I display them all year in a display cabinet with other treasures. Again, Really enjoyed seeing your collection & information about the mid century Holt Howard, Napco,
Etc.., Also, have you ever done a repaint of any chipping paint on your pieces, (especially The red paint)?
Thank you so so much! Yes I’ve done a bit of repainting on pieces that really really need it, but usually I’ll keep them as-is. If you do repaint, definitely use gloss enamel! ♥️

Lovely collection! I was hoping you would share some info on the Snowman creamer/sugar set on the second shelf - with the top hat. I have that piece and adore it but don’t know anything about it. I enjoy collecting snowman ceramics and would loooove to find that set of three “musician” snowman you have as well.

Wow love your collection! I bought my first and only Holt Howard piece at a Goodwill for $.99 and she had a broken wing. She is the girl candle holder, holding the muff and I still display her even though she’s broken.

Thank you Kari! Lots and lots of tissue paper and newspaper! They all go in bins, and that I’m leaving a good amount of room and paper in between pieces. Also, I don’t stack the bins underneath super heavy things, and am very mindful when I’m placing the bins on the floor!
