Sea roomba eats a dollar.
What a crappy roomba, it keeps spitting out the dollars.
ya they do
@Roger Crew fuck off
Patrick: oh boy, 3 am! *liquifies soft parts of sand dollars*
LMAOOOO 💀
The way all these creatures are crawling is just beyond creepy
It's just been speedy up but yeah it's creepy watching it.
your right starfish give me the creeps and chills
They must think(if they could) the same of us XD
honestly i'm kind of numb to the whole "creepy creatures" shit, it doesn't bother me at all
Yeah...and yet so mesmerizing
NO patrick nooo!!!
@Rick O'Shay When you think about it I've never seen a sand dollar in Spongebob before.
@Rick O'Shay oh no patrick is a murderer
Well not just Patrick plankton(Remember that episode)
Hey, Mack. Whatcha in for?
So, all of those sand dollars I collect off of the Huntington Beach Coast during low tide may have met their doom from that monster star fish?
truvelocity Im afraid so.
When you put it that way... Lol
Yeah. You were basically at a murder scene. ;)
Ikr I used to get em on the south jetty Oregon.
Ues
This video really makes you appreciate how great David Attenborough is: I mean even under water he still sound great!
@Jamel Gianangelo 🧐
It's kinda comedic how the brittle stars move away and back to their positions from the predator.
Hey man, they got shit to do. They can't just up and leave work because a giant Koosh ball is trying to eat them. That sand won't sift itself, you know.
this reminded me of claymation lol except this stuff is reaL
Yes!! Gumby lol
You should make claymation
Half a meter a day?! That means you could literally watch it elongate before your eyes! I had no idea any phototroph grew that fast.
around 2 cm an hour or 0,035 cm a minute
If it just didn’t move around constantly...
Some bamboos grow 91 cm a day
@@AnimalEmancipation I heard 3 feet
@@Flistered thats.... the same
I'm speechless.
First, the mouth of the urchin.
Then the sunflower starfish!
And THEN the dollar urchins skeletons...
I... I...
I... thank you, all the documentarists and everyone involved in this video to show us all this creatures from another world.
wholesome comment :)
Those creatures are all from here on Earth, evolution has created a vast biodiversity of species in seemingly every form and shape, but they all got DNA just like you and me.
After seeing the little sea urchins just running around just warms my heart
Spiny lil goobers just living the life :3
Narrator had to eat a entire stalk of celery to make the chewing noises
Not how that works. Look up "foley artist."
Not only is this channel shows how amazing nature is, but somehow reminds me of my childhood days.
..of SpongeBob
The warm voice of David Attenborough as narrator. Remember him too!
I am now currently terrified of Starfish
Hunter Shadows
The sunstars are rather squishy and soft with a boney feel. Not scary. But they move pretty quick as far as starfish go. Most of those hefty ones shown on the bottom were bat stars.
I've spent literally hundreds of hours diving here in California. Mostly abalone diving. It's phenomenal here. Better than backpacking ☺️
@@DG-kq8zf When was the last time you saw one of those sea stars? Urchins have took over and eaten most of the forests after all of the sunflowers died off from the Sea Start Wasting Disease. I'm diving after fish almost every week and haven't seen a single one in almost tho years (NorCal)
If you are scared of them hunt some down and cut them in half.
Storm Boss, then you get more sea stars!
Evil Sharkey
Nope. You get a dead star.
They only regenerate their legs.
1:55 What are those? With the human eyes on top of them
2:04 What is that worm/slug/sea cucumber thing to the left?
2:13 What is that alien-looking arm in the top left corner?
3:29 Why? Why why why?!!
This is why I'm not getting a diving license, mom.
*this is why i want to get a diving license 😀
The ocean never ceases to amaze me
I never really thought about the fact that the beaches where I live are covered in fresh kelp plants and sand dollars, but now I understand, something very gruesome happened here.
Not really just 🎵 The Circle Of Life 🎵
Why is nobody talking about how cool *"Urchin Barrens"* look and sound?
That tiny mouth of an urchin is very cute
i never knew the sand dollar was a living organism until i watched this video
Oh !the sea is another world
full of unknown diversities.
1:53 Traffic in a nutshell
bikini bottom at its finest
Huh, so THAT'S what sand dollars look like alive! Only seen the white skeletons on the beach! ^^
The description of how they are ... consumed ... was totally metal. Imagine some scary monster extruding it's stomach onto and around you, bathing your body in digestive enzymes until your eyes, skin, muscles, organs, etc. were melted away in its ooze, then dropping your dry, whole skeleton in the dirt behind it. The thing of nightmares!
It doesn't have eye/skin/muscles?/organ or really anything to be left behind beside the skeleton.
Anyone else think of the show Always Sunny in Philadelphia, family feud episode, where the answer the guy gave to "name a food that has to be cooked" was SEA URCHIN
I've seen miles upon miles of urchins on the lost coast. A hole in the stone perfect for a purple urchin only a centimeter to separate them . Billions strong. It's incredible. And scary when you realize you just walked 30 yards without booties and this is your 3rd time surfing there.. idk how I didn't stop on one
I'm in utter shock..
Sea urchins: eating all the kelp in the ocean
Sea otters: *I’m about to end this man whole career*
TheCraftianChannel // TCC overused jokes but ok
KBAC yes otters eat urchins!
Wow, I never before thought I could feel terrified of a Seastar! Run little Brittlestars! Run!
It's an echinoderm paradise or killing field, depending how you look at it
It's really funny to watch these guys move when the film is sped up. I imagine the starfish with wheelies on.

Imagine this video wasn’t speeded and they really moved that fast ! lol that would be so funny and blood curdling at the same time
Echinoderms are so fascinating.
Indeed
So thats how they make sand dollar😶
Soriya Yon, that’s how you find them in the wild, but when you buy them in a store, they were killed by people and then soaked and bleached to get all the dead stuff out.
lmao, this just needs some benny hill music added to the fast motion scuttling of the demonic starfish and we got ourselves a show.
Far more entertaining than any Reality TV show that's for sure. Real life drama with a comedic twist.
2:50 THIS IS SPARTA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BBC Earth: Here’s a beautiful and educational nature video.
Comments: Sponge Bob jokes.
This is terrifying
LOL 😂😂😂😂 ITS SO FUNNY WHEN THE STARFISH TRYS AND EAT THE BRITTLE STARS 😂😂😂😂😂
360p video from BBC , amazing!
love this not to mention Davids voice just awesome *;)
100%
Is it just me who finds the sea urchin looks so cute 😍
Angelo, look up collector urchins. They find little pieces of debris and carry it around like camouflage.
I never thought all of them actually move!
Awesome! So far MY WHOLE LIFE is based on nature and animals! Keep up the great work!!!!
sunflower starfish : * modem noises for 1h *

The sea floor is a horrifying, eldritch nightmare.

Abundant of sea creatures
1:55 what are those sea creatures with a human eye-looking thing on their backs called?
Freddie Perez keyhole limpet
Half a meter a DAY?! That's amazing!!!
Echinoderms are some of the weirdest animals on the planet.
0:25 I see... I seee... SUBNAUTICA kelp forest.
Giant starfish and moving rocks!!?? Oi blin what is going on in the sea.
Chancellor Palpatine did you call for me?
I swear those are definitely staryu and starmie right there
No, they are Patrick Star and his family
Amazed things in the sea.
2:04They see me rolling

Trees are lungs turned inside out and urchins are stomachs turned inside out.
Sea stars literally turn their stomachs inside out! That’s how they eat.
Nature is so alien looking sometimes
Beautiful! Video Fascinating to watch! Thank you David Attenborough. 🇹🇴 CHCH NZ .🤩
Am I the only one who thought those purple urchins moving was kind of cute?
Looks like a funky stop motion clay animation.
Best nature video I have ever watched in TH-cam.
Very fascinating! Thank you for sharing.
fascinating! thanks for sharing!
this is just sooo good,i love dave.
agreed!
スイチャンネルから来たけどやべーなwww魔界すぎるwwwwww
Toxapex are real and they're coming for our starfish.

*Staryus
Yare yare daze
Imagine you're driving, then touch your feet there on the bunch of starfish
I would love that to happen, since they are very interesting animals.
Cool - I've never seen a sea urchin moving before!
That’s so wild
Best videos thank you for sharing. Amazing!!!!
Finally I've discovered what was that I had found on the shore of Thailand🇹🇭. Skeletons of sand dollars they were!!!
*seeing these creatures crawl around at high speed makes me clinically disturbed.*
Looks like something bjork would want on one of her music videos
Kelp forest became a giant echinoderm battle royale after a bunch of purple pompoms committed illegal logging.
this awesome footages deserves more than a single ads

The bumper cars sporting an eye on top are keyhole limpets. They''re not true limpets, but, like true limpets, they're cousins of snails and slugs (all being gastropods).
Yum love sea urchins
sea urchins YUM
that was soo cool thank you BBC..
ヒトデがやばい笑
ウニの量すごいなぁ。なのにこんな海藻が残ってるの不思議🤔
How'd they take a vid of urchins eating
@1:54 ROCKS WITH EYE BALLS AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
So this is how Spyke from Splatoon family reunion be like
スゲーとこだなー
The best thing in this video is the
Narator
This needs to be in better resolution.
Never heard or seen before. There IS so much to learn from Nature yet. Praise Jah you people, for all the Wonders He hast made ❤
Greetings from Germany
So that's how sand dollars are made, I never knew haha
Nature hard at work to keep a balanced ecology so that human can have a livable environment and food sources.
Sand dollars look like moving coins from stop motion clips from coinstar
Good thing I live up here and they live down there.
02:50 look like mop 😂
*Sea Roomba™ consumes dollar coins.
We couldn’t fathom aliens stranger than that which is found within our own oceans
Guess we have to eat more uni (sea urchins) now. I've never tried it, but I'm hoping it's tasty.
