Excuse me, but Reddit is very PRO-Kamigawa and we feel the refusal to return there is what is clearly killing Magic. Allow me to start a new thread on this subject...
mowdownjoe this is the first time I've laughed so hard I almost cried watching a friday nights, I don't know what about paul asking if anyone wants to buy indangered primates.
I think cH-verse crew would be too dumb and/or lazy to be filming a video like this. BUT... maybe, just maybe, the FN-verse crew are the ones doing the FILMING and the cH-verse crew are the ones sitting around on computers. :-D
True. And I think I should've put in "too self-interested" in there somewhere. cH-Paul is certainly smart enough to build something like that. However, he's so scatterbrained and interested in doing science for the sake of science (not for practical applications). I think that he'd come up with the idea, build it, tell the crew, something would happen, they'd abandon it due to safety concerns, and he'd abandon it because he was bored and wanted to move onto something else. So the trans-dimensional portal would be left unused in the garage or something.
Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie? Colonel Sandurz: Now. You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
I've watched every single one of these in one sitting while sorting my cards. I started playing in Shadows over Innistrad and havent really gotten into the juicy bits of the game, since i dont play that often, but now im really stoked to play more Magic in the future! Thanks for the awesome videos!
Missie: a girl with the personality of a 17 year old, the face of a 30-something, and the hair of a 58 year old hippy chick. Sounds like someone I'd hang with. They rest of you guys are great too.
Come on, Graham, "on a stick" refers to creature and artifact tap abilities, especially Isochron Scepter. "On legs" refers to static creature abilities. Also, artifact with static abilities aren't anything. Get your head in the game, man.
Is that the LRR crew from the cH universe? Or is it from one of the split timelines when Jer kept going back in time? We know it's not Type 0 universe and... ... Why does everything taste like copper?
Graham Stark: his +3 seems useless (with the tapped tokens) but cards like Impact Tremors and other damage on etb/ltb effects exist, as well as amulet of vigor. his -2 may also appear useless, but it basically kills every creature with power not equal to the lowest or highest on the battlefield. Sidenote: i nearly thought is +3 let the creatures enter untapped, but exiled them at the beginning of the next combat step. James Turner: good after the damage prevention emblem from Ajani Cam: play him after oath of gideon if you play Paul Sanders (1) with Oath of Gideon (2), Doubling season x4 (4, 8, 16, 32), Copy enchantment on Doubling Season x2 (64, 128) and ult him right away you can never lose a game of magic again. (unless someone stifles or counters him.) Also in every format he can be played, his 0-ability will automatically enables his 0-ability, since it cares about the graveyard order. (nice try, but not as useless as it appears)
This is what happens when you cast Time Walk, copying it with fork, the Djinn that gives replicate, howl of the horde, etc, oh wait that already happened
4:40 So for tabs, we have a Photoshop file from Dropbox, then the LRR main site, and then 10 hours of Green Screen in 60FPS 1080P? That last one... I can TOTALLY see the cH-verse using that as a green-screen rather than just a static color image.
It's awesome that LRR got to preview a card within Friday Nights, but I can't imagine them topping what they did here, so I hope their spoilers go back to being standalone (on their channel).
Obligatory intro card assessment: (Kathleen/Alex and Paul too meta) Graham: +3 no; -2 interesting for 1/X aggro decks; -9 amazing if you have lifegain James: Basically sorcery speed removal? Cameron: Only playable with Oath of Gideon, but then amazing. Missie: I kinda wanna try this one.
You see the LRR crew from one of Jarred's timewalk universe invaded this universe because they were hired by Alex's timewalk universe LRR. Alex was unable to escape this timewalk universe since the timewalk was broken and would now restart everytime he trades it . He decides to make a deal with an all powerful entity. THE SNAKE HYDRA. The snake hydra said that as long as he gave him the timewalk which was stolen from him by Mark Rosewater long ago he could leave. Alex now has a mental mechanism to keep hydras and snakes seperate so he doesn't believe the snake hydra exists because if he does he'll warn the LRR crew. His memories came back when the timelines converged though. Alex wrote terror because he knows the snake hydra's found him. The timewalk soon activates when the universes converge. The snake hydra activates it to keep the world from ending as he tries to make a new plan, but he did leave a alternate universe LRR in the normal universe. James.
I thought "on a stick" only applied to instants and sorceries. Like Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker is Mind Funeral on a stick because it allows you to Mind Funeral every turn if you want.
The Kathleen writing is strong in this one. I feel like Graham was more a consultant in this one with how deeply weird this one was throughout most of it. XD
Looks like someone put down something similar to a Mirror Gallery, dropped Planeswalkers similar to the fab four, and before dropping the fifth one, the Mirror Gallery card got exiled or flickered or something.
Excuse me, but Reddit is very PRO-Kamigawa and we feel the refusal to return there is what is clearly killing Magic. Allow me to start a new thread on this subject...
Tolarian Community College Kamigawa is great... except for the stupid top
I just really want to weeb out in a set, so I'd be fine with it coming back.
Tolarian Community College I upvote under the assumption that humor is involved.
The flavor is there, the mechanics were the problem. A return would allow new mechanics to redeem themselves.
As long as they keep Ninjutsu.
"The Locust God..."
"What's it's name?!"
"The Locust God..."
Favourite part. Rewatching the video just for that.
You know, when Paul said he was on the Dark Web, I thought he'd show the computer screen and it would be completely black.
Lord Garon haha same here!
See I'm so used to Commodorehustle Paul that I actually expected him to say he'd bought a fine selection of missiles.
You may have Paul confused with Krog. Easy mistake.
I would love to have seen Paul invent, "The Darker Web".
@@BionicKing considering how mainstream the dark web has become I can only assume there are multiple layers of darker webs out there already.
4:38 Fulfill the prophecy! (Also, spoiler card).

Well... technically it would be 5:09 to "fulfill the prophecy"...

I'm used to LRR's meta humor. This tops anything they've done.
probable their best spoiler video
I don't know, it is definitely up there, but even without correcting for experience I think quantum documentary is at least as good.
yeah, this is honestly the best spoiler video this block so far
Devastatingly brilliant.
mowdownjoe this is the first time I've laughed so hard I almost cried watching a friday nights, I don't know what about paul asking if anyone wants to buy indangered primates.
Mistform Ultimus was the first Legendary Zombie Minotaur Warrior.
I hate how this is technically accurate
Hey wait a minute
0:43 I'm actually dying right now. LOL
TheManaSource hey wedge love your content, looking forward to more spoiler videos from you
TheManaSource
Hey its cool to see you here keep up the good content
The reddit comments in response were also on point.
Are you dying because you haven't made a worst card ever video yet?
i feel the magic community is always so divided on kamigawa
I love how cam's card just increases storm count by 1
You've gotta think outside the box. It combos with Oath of Gideon, man!
If you could get it to enter with even a single loyalty it would be better than Oko and 3feri combined.
Run it with Oath of Gideon and Oath of Teferi. Enters with a loyalty counter and you can activate effects twice.
Oh gods, the LRR Universes are converging, we're heading for a Crisis on Infinite LRRths!
It already happend with the timewalk episode
It is called the loading ready rumble.
Kathleen as Catwoman joining the JL
Wow, that was meta.
So, why were you here? Yeah, I know, three year old comment but still. I thought you did Bakugan and stuff.
M e t a
What if the camera crew comes from the alternate history at the end of 'Here Be Dragons'?
AlonsoSwift too meta
That's fair. The only way my theory holds water is if the timeline convergence causes a shift in identity.
Well the Crew could have been Commodore Hustle Verse or Prime Verse.
I think cH-verse crew would be too dumb and/or lazy to be filming a video like this. BUT... maybe, just maybe, the FN-verse crew are the ones doing the FILMING and the cH-verse crew are the ones sitting around on computers. :-D

the time paradox count in the moon base is rapidly increasing
PartyEagle406 I think it's sitting at 8 by this point.
FYI, within hours of this video being posted, that did, in fact, become the top thread on reddit.
That moment when you get hyped for Cameron's planeswalker card and then look at the starting loyalty
Elspeth Conquers Death might actually make him playable...
@@ryanbarham8464 If we're moving into white then Oath of Gideon also works.
This is incredibly meta, I can't even.
It's so meta, even this comment.
When exactly did your opponent play Void Winnower?
Kevin Evasiuk The army of Paul's from that one sketch.
Is Metc?
Remember the time when people had apparently completely forgotten about Spaceballs? Great episode!
Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
Colonel Sandurz: Now. You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
What happened to then?!
Michael Moore We just missed it.
tighe143 When?

I really wanted people to have their name in the credits twice after that meta loop. Great video as always guys!

I always heard (and say myself) that a static artifact, as attaching "rock" to the end of it.
This episode was really creative! Loved it.
I didn't even know they still made these. So happy this just happened to show up in my recommended.
TappedWater We make other stuff too, if you're interested. We also stream MTGO every week.
New Friday Nights! Inspirational creators are inspirational. we hope to meet all of them very soon. Thanks for great stuff as always!

nick d Friday morning In NZ
It's out on thurs because the meta broke time & space.
the past few have come out on a thursday
The fact that Kathleen wasn't credited on boom is a MASSIVE oversight

I'd be happy if the planeswalkers from the into were in the upcoming Un-set.
Zero The Crow then I would have a play set of cam
you have to play him with oath of gideon though.
No you don't.
he comes in with 0 loyalty and just dies (which is the joke) though.
Luke Morse yeees but you can still technically play it :p
Easily the best Friday Nights episode ever.
So disappointed that the credits weren't doubled. Way to leave the hard work of your AU selves uncredited, LRR!
Amazing video! Love the feeling of existential horror that was creeping into Kathleen's mind. Well non-Boom Kathleeen.
Nice you guys, very entertaining! Also super pumped for Hour Of Devastation!
The 4th wall breaks recently have been primo. Love it!
BEARS! Grizzly Bears and Runeclaw Bear, throw that into a cube with Storm Crow and you've got some serious power

Awesome video!! Loved to see Fraying Sanity, my spoiled card!! 😍😍
You really outdid yourselves. Instant classic.
Graham: "what a horrible night to have a curse."
Me: "noice reference."
1:43 well, get your Oath of Gideon now folks.
Best one yet!!!! It works on so many levels.
that "That's Amore" joke was so casual though lmao
and that jab at WotC leaking cards on their homepage at the end was also pretty good xD
great vid
cams planeswalker card was awesome
Love the show, another great episode!
Great job, another awesome Friday Night's.

That Cam planeswalker card + oath of gideon is straight gas
...... OMG that was amazing whoever came up with this one is a genius :)
There are soooooo many playable cards in Amonkhet +Hour of Devastation. I love it. On top of that they also feel very fresh.
Great preview card video. Also a great Friday nights video #alwaysamazing
I love that Alex wrote Redrum in the window! :D
Might actually be the best video you have made!
Missie's Planeswalker card is super playable and actually a really cool new take on how a white planeswalker could play.
The Castlevania 2 reference really got me. Good one.
Best episode of Friday nights hands down
You've outdone yourselves with this one
Is uncaged menagerie the LRR spoiler card? Cause that was meta
I think the term "on a stick" refers to instant and sorceries printed as an activated ability
That Cam Planeswalker becomes pretty busted with an Oath of Gideon, a Doubling Season, a Deepglow Skate, and a Contagion Engine.
THE SNAKE HYDRA. i like how its just two universes in this one and they know it
And the LRRniverse suffers its biggest temporal disruption since Time Walking. ... freaking sweet! :D
Still love the musical/chippy/etc. riff on Switchblade Smiles (by Kasabian) at 0:12 to 0:22. Good song.
