Hey, my man! What do you think about running 2 duality to tag out chixiao into a mirror jade? Could be nice to get a search, negate, tag out, non target banish. Thoughts?
Hey, welcome to the channel. Interesting, I've heard of people testing this. I'm down to test it out. I won't lie and say I've tried it yet lol. Be on the lookout for the next live duel. I'll see how it works! :)
Good deck list. I do play two blackouts, it’s amazing and to banish it with chixiao to get another tuner in tough spots it’s good. Must play 2 monks and 1 shaman. Great Combo card late game or when they get rid of all tuners. I also play 3 nibs, my locals play lots of branded and unchained decks, and that deck loses easily to nib. Also great to have for granites first effect. Side decks it’s really player preferences and what’s been playing the most round you. Can always be easily alter. I play 3 fragrances, wins me lots of games, side it going first. For example.
Hey, welcome to the channel! I'll have to give multiple blackouts a chance sometime! Especially for post side if I didn't want to main it. Overall I really like the feedback, I agree that shaman is needed, I'll make that adjustment. And you're right about nibiru being a good meta call and also being relevant for dragites first effect. I look forward to future input from you!
5ds is my favorite, although when I was growing up we really only had DM era! 👴 I did end up watching 5ds later in my early 20's and I loved it, it was a solid, character driven anime tbh.
I loved them all. But yeah, 5D's was built different. That was my middle school and high school time with yugioh watching that and playing with my gladiator beasts!
I understand the Yazi cut but chaofeng is good in the extra deck not because of nibiru or baiting out of nibiru but the potential FTK against light decks (drytron, purrely) and using black out to pop chaofeng in search for an Ash (or if you have an Ash, Adhara or ecclesia for follow up). Overall pretty solid list, would recommend anti-spell fragrance for otks since ppl need their normal spells to play
Hey, welcome to the channel, you 100% make great points. My ideal lineup has a shaman and chaofeng in the ED, I'd probably cut the third monk and the ice jade synchro. Yeah, anti-spell is an absolute blow out card, I could probably swap out gravity collapse for it in next month's profile. We'll see how the META shapes up though. :)
Does this list change at all with the new banlist? Im thinking of trying modern yugioh for the first time and this might be the deck I try to get back into yugioh. Also 5Ds was goats cuz that's when I was introduced to yugioh
Hey, welcome to the channel. I would actually main deck 3 nibiru right now, that's the only changes I would make based on the success of unchained and how much it hurts them. The banlist itself changes nothing about the deck. I do updates to the deck regularly and show off different builds, this is my favorite modern deck do hopefully we can bounce ideas off eachother as you get back into the game :)
I would play the standard Swordsoul + Tenyi ratio with a combination of handtraps and boardbreakers and thrust (if it is within your budget as the card has spiked to oblivion). 3 Ash 3 Imperm 1-3 Veilers 1 Feather Duster 1-3 Evenly are pretty sensible in my opinion, maybe blinding second and relying on thrust to get you power spells/traps to break boards and win on the crackback is the way to go for swordsoul. Definitely a tough deck to pilot this format, has a lot of suboptimal matchups. (Rescue Ace, purrely, etc) I hate nib main because its almost a dead card if you go first, you lose 9 times out of 10 when you have to nib your own board with no follow up. Evenly is a much stronger card going second as there is no omni negate decks outside of mannadium and tearlaments that milled like crazy and got to dark world fusion + baronne, and evenly going first is actually not a dead card into unchained or rescue ace.
So to answer y'all's questions my favorite show growing up was yugioh gx I just loved the hero units growing up plus I enjoy this deck list I need to get a couple of desires and the spell you had with the tenyi monster I don't have any drool and lock and I'm missing the monk of the tenyi and the shaman , I have draco and the yaizi and all the swordsoul synchros so I through in some substitute for now this deck list was amazing y'all always come up with good ratios and ideas for these deck ❤❤
Thank you! Welcome to the channel. Apple dragon is definitely another option. I'm personally not a fan over the purr build. I think Apple dragon would be mandatory if it was a wrym
Hey, welcome to the channel, velier is for sure underwhelming, the main reason for running it is that it's an interruption plus a tuner. Veiler plus tenyi is a chixao, and velier plus a level 10 synchro is a PEP going for game. I like it for that aspect, however, I'll be putting nibs into the main for this next October list based on the current meta. Stay tuned 🙏🏻💪🏻
Don't understand why people aren't playing Sacred Summit. Been playing one for months now, it adds a lot of ceiling and recursion that the deck lacks. Being able to make a Dragite on top of the standard Chixiao + synchro 10 lets you play around tactics/evenly/book by having an extra spell and trap negate, and also has value when you get Nibbed you can reborn a chixiao at least and call it a day rather than passing on a token. On top of that often you want to see it in your starting hand especially if you can get to discard a Taia off Longyuan, so it's not really a brick either. Post banlist with less shifter decks and more nibs I would argue that Sacred Summit is a mandatory one of in the deck.
Hey, welcome to the channel. You definitely make a strong case for the card. I played it upon release of the deck in 2021 and the majority of 2022, but cut it this year just to see more hand traps. I do like the long discard Taia trick. I remember in early 2022 I put up a barrone, chixao, and dragite only for the opponent to draw out all my negates and pass his turn on a mystic mine. Fun times! LOL :)
@@Retro_YGO yeah if they have the out it is what it is, the best we can do is to do the bestest of our ability to play around meta staples without compensating the end board. Rotated between kash and ss last format and both decks lose hella hard to tactics and books, just gotta get used to it when those blowout cards happen
You’re incorrect about Nib look at the statistics of Nib it’s in the main of close to 70 percent of topping lists and almost every list was at least running it in side also chaofeng is good against purrely shutting off white cat and it’s a blowout vs a lot of rogue decks like Exosister and drytron for example
With the tear and Kash format the tenyis weren't the greatest. Bystials especially killed. I found success in the local area with bystials and fenrirs instead. I was also going into chaos angel with ease and a lot of decks can't put that card as easy.
Hey, welcome to the channel, well I know I'm late to replying, but RIP magnamut lol. My main issue with cutting tenyis was the lack of mo ye reveals and long yuan discards available. Did you struggle in that regard or just go for different plays more often than not? Thanks for the feedback by the way! :)
Hey, welcome to the channel. And that's fair on vishuda, I used to play 3 as well. And I'm only playing 2 vessel in this list. My going second build maxes out on ashuna, vishuda and adhara, and in that one I play 3 vessel. Vessel is also live with just having a swordsoul token, so it often times works out well :)
@@matteotagliabue852 I've personally had more success without it and the other main deck yang zings. But I can see the use. Pure SS/Tenyi has so much gas as is. In this format having extra space for cards like nibiru and droll can be big for us to compete as a rogue strategy
We all have our own opinions my guy lmao. Like I hate using HDC and Vessel so I always dump them for either real consistency cards or better staples to keep myself in the game.
That's fair, hdc is sometimes not something I play, I do like vessel though, any tenyi or swordsoul token paired with it feels very nice. And welcome to the channel
Hey, welcome to the channel. 1 taia is definitely at least mandatory, we can agree on that. Most lists play 2 though and it's worked well for me. Especially in a list with multiple desires. If you're not playing desires, 1 is probably completely fine also in most scenarios
