The Blue Kamikaze Cocktail Recipe | Booze On The Rocks

- Today on Booze On The Rocks, we made a Blue Kamikaze cocktail. The Kamikaze was originally created in the 1970s; this modified version of the original substitutes Blue Curacao for Triple Sec and adds simple syrup to balance the flavours out. And of course, it's Blue!! Try it out, and let me know what you think.

BLUE KAMIKAZE
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
.5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Simple Syrup
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaking Glass.
2. Shake with ice for 10 Seconds.
3. Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
4. Garnish with a Lime Wheel.

Ha, I have two voices on my shoulder, in agreement, whispering in my ear the same thing... My five year high school reunion had dollar kamikaze shots... A bunch of us were buying them twenty at a time and just handing them out to everyone... This wouldn't have been a dollar, but would have looked a lot nicer... I like knowing exactly how much your glassware holds... I have a few glasses that I've been meaning to measure, because I'm pretty much just guessing how much they hold...

Made this tonight it was good but way to sour for me…might have been my limes..I don’t know but it was sour as &$&$
It is a bit tart, and the limes do make an impact for sure
